ICal is completely gone and I can't find a stand alone app.

I have officially lost ical and these are the things I have done:
-Searched the entire computer for the application.
-Tried to reinstall the software bundle on my installation discs.
-Look for a stand alone application online.
-Reinstall 10.4.5
I am a .mac user if that info makes any difference.
I still have no iCal and it's making me crazy. Please help...

Hi, me too. Somehow I updated on my iMac from1.55 to 2.0.3, but not on my iBook. I am not sure what I did then, but I cannot reinstall 1.55 on my iBook which runs10.4.5 because it won't take it from the Tiger disk. I cannot find a stand alone installer for 2.0.3
The funny thing is that w hen I run iSynCal it says "calendars updated succesfully", but when I look in the Home/Library/Calendars folder, I only see my old ones (not new ones I have added on my iMac since htis problem) and I can't open them - because I don't have the app!
Any help appreciated!

Are the apps in your iTunes library on your computer and did you select them to sync? Are you sure that you are syncing correctly?

Use Find Any File, if the old messages might have been in a specific mailbox, to look for a file by the name of the mailbox to see if there are any larger versions of that mailbox.

If your Mail is indeed gone, you may be able to recover it with one of the data recovery tools here:

But act quickly. Every action while the computer is turned on weakens its chances of recovery. There is a slim chance also your email provider may have tape backup from before you checked your messages and after it arrived at their server for certain messages. You may want to ask them if that might have happened.

If you have deleted notes from the iCloud account, you can't recover them, unless you also had them on your computer and maintained a back up.

It's a built-in app so it won't appear in the store.
If you can't find it on any of your homescreens or app folders, and you can't find it via the spotlight search screen (swipe your first home screen to the right), then is it hidden by Settings > General > Restrictions > Safari being set 'off' ?
If not then have you tried a reset to see if you can find it after the phone has restarted ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.

I've lost quicktime pro and can't find it. I had to re-install my HD and now QT Pro has gone and I can't find details of when I bought it.

I'm 10.6.8 and I use a Macbook Pro. I bought QT pro a while ago and since I've re installed my stuff all I've got is QT and I need the older version (that I paid for) to edit.

QuickTime Pro is not a separate application, so you won't find it by searching your system or by looking for a download. A Pro key just unlocks the extra features of QuickTime Player and the QuickTime browser plugin. You need the QuickTime Player 7 Kirk and I have referred to; only that version can be "unlocked" with a Pro key.
I can't find that either. I've trawled my email and can't find it.
Log into your account in the Apple Store and click on the Downloadable Software Purchases link. You should find the key shown there. If not, you may need to purchase a new key.

Create a Play List in iTunes.
Control-Click and open "Export" in the highlighted Playlist in iTunes.
With "Export" opened:
1. Click on "Format" and choose "M3U";
2. In "Save As" name your "WhatEverNamePlaylist.m3u"; and
3. In "Where" tell the program where to send your "WhatEverNamePlaylist.m3u".
You are done creating the Playlist.m3u in iTunes.
Open "Subsonic Web Page".
Left hand column open "Import playlist".
In "Import playlist" click "Choose File" and open the "WhatEverNamePlaylist.m3u"; you created in iTunes.
The "WhatEverNamePlaylist.m3u" should now occupy the space between "Choose File" and "OK".
Click "OK".
The file should now be in the "Playlist" on the left.

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
