ICal List view doubling and tripling events on iphone... HELP!

List view worked great for the first month and then 2 recurring events started doubling. In the past week events started tripling. In the other views and on my desktop events are listed correctly, it is only in the list view.
I don't know what is going on and can't find any info on it... am I the only one with this problem?
I really like list view but it's driving me crazy to the point that I can't use it. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Actually, I spent two days and all I did was make it worse. So, I finally called Apple and after an intense hour, she (apple) fixed it. I could never have done this myself. My problem was an obscure file in Address Book needed to be deleted and then I could reach back in Time machine and restore address book. Prior to that all my restores were by corrupted by iCloud. Until that file was deleted, I keep getting double entries. The file was something like .v22abcd.. But that was my problem, yours could be different

I suspect in this case the problem is caused by your library and device having downloaded independent copies of the media, so that when the library connects to the device it copies over your purchases not realizing they are already in the library.
When deduping use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicate Items as this is normally a more useful selection. You need to manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sorting the list by Date Added may make it easier to select the appropriate tracks. If you have multiple entries in iTunes connected to the same file on the hard drive then don't send to the recycle bin. Use my DeDuper script if you're not sure, don't want to do it by hand, or want to preserve ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this thread for background and please take note of the warning to backup your library before deduping.

LG Cosmos 2 double and triple tapping when depressing any key

Has anyone had any problems with their Cosmos 2 doubling and tripling tapping entries when hitting keys while texting or trying to dial a number? When I text, I have a very annoying problem with having to go back and deleting extra letters and numbers that I didn't type. My phone adds them on its own constantly. My phone started off doubling letters and numbers and was confined to texting only but now, after several weeks, I see and increase of up to 3 when texting and has advanced to scrolling through my pics also. I have to backup when I want to view pics to see what I jumped over.
Any ideas that might help? Per my contract, I can't upgrade my phone for another couple of months and I can only hope it last that long, but right now, very doubtful that it will and Verizon won't allow me to upgrade early without paying full price for any phone I choose.

You should definitely have an excellent working phone at all times levs4660! Please try powering phone off and removing battery for 30 seconds & restart. Also, please try deleting some text message threads. Let's see if this helps.

If the shows are in fact still on the pad, they will be found in the videos app, not the music or I tunes app. Look there and see if they are still there.
If you don't see them there, go to the searchlight screen ( farthest left home page) and type in the name of one of the shows. If it is on the pad, hiding somewhere, this will find it.
If they are not there, they should not be using up space.
To get them back onto your pad, plug in and sync again. Make sure you transfer purchases first. Before you sync, take a look at the video tab in your I tunes, and check what you want and don't want synced.

I have created index on column "year" and create view filter: Year is equal 2015.
and I get famous error: this view cannot be displayed because....
I haven`t find any limitations on column type: manage metadata?

As I understand, you encountered the issue after you created view filter.
Every column type has the default number that can be created. You should go to check the number of your column created is less than the number by default.
Per my test, I can achieve it without exceeding list view threshold.
Check things below:
1. You can increase the number of the list view threshold, and after that, you can try again to see the same situation will occur.
2. Go to create another managed metadata column “year”, and create index on column "year", and create view filter in the same list to see the issue will occur.
3. Check ULS log to see the details about the cause of the issue.

Logic doubling and tripling values in BPC 7 MS

Experts,
We are using BPC 7 MS and SP5, SQL2008 Server, Recently we are encountering the problems of doubling and tripling of numbers when running the Fx trans, Push logic.
To fix this issue we have defined measures=periodic in the scope of the logic, then it is working as expected for single company code but when processing all the company codes it's doubling and tripling the numbers.

Currency trabsalation can run many times but this will not create double values.
You can have the currency transalation into Default Logic and aso you can run DM packages this should not have any impact regarding the consistency of data.
What kind of application do you have Periodic or YTD?
I think the problem is here. Because you are tunning the Currency translation for one type of application but actually your application is not that type.
For example into a YTD application
2009.Jan 100
2009. Feb 100
for LC and we want to translate in USD. (let's suppose the Exchange rate is 1.3)
You actaully will insert into database
for USD into signeddata
2009.Jan 120
2009 Feb 120
Which is wrong because in YTD application that's means you will have for 2009.FEB 240
So actaully the FXTrans has to insert 120 and 0 to be able to have the correct result.
This is an example with what can be wrong. Of course may be is something else in your case but you have to understand what you selected and how you insert the values into database.
Just have a look into logic log from Private Publication\Your User\temp and you will find out what is wrong.

ICal List View

I used to be able to click on a Calendar and view it in list view but I cannot anymore. I make lots of different calendars and frequently need to delete them. I used to be able to use list view then I could see what appointment i had for the calendar and if they were all old or not necessary I could delete the calendar. Now with import/exporting thru different versions i have no idea what events are in my calendars to i am too afraid to delete them. Hate to delete someones birthday! But i cannot find a way to search for ALL. Is there a character in Mac that searches for everything? I think it he old DOS days you could search . and that would bring up everything. Is there something like that for Mac or am i missing some function in iCal. Not sure why they would remove list view.

When you do that you will be presented with a results pane in the bottom of the iCal window. The results pane will have four columns at the top (Calendar/Date/Type/Title). Click on the "Calendar" column to see the results organized by specific calendars.
Alternately, you can (⌘ + click) on any calendar in the "CALENDARS" source pane to deselect all calendars, then the calendar that you want to display, and enter the " character in the search field. That will display only the entries associated with that particular calendar.

Can I show a color bar instead of a color bullet in iCal Monthly view for all my events in all calendars?

In the Monthly view of iCal the only events that show a color bar in the event is the Birthday Calendar. All other events in all my other calendars only show a color bullet next to the event (unless I click on that event which then shows as a color bar). I would like to know if it is possible for all the calendar events to have a color bar in the monthly view instead of just that tiny color bullet.

Before making any attempts at deleting calendar data, backup what you have just in case:
Click on each calendar on the left hand side of iCal one at a time highlighting it's name and then going to File Export > Export and saving the resulting calendar file to a logical location for safekeeping.
iCal has an automated function located in iCal > Preferences > Advanced > Delete events "X" days after they have passed. By typing in a value for days you can tell iCal to delete all events before that time frame.
Example:
Today is 4-16-2012.
If I wanted to delete all events prior to 1 year ago (4-16-2011) I would type in "365" for the number of days.
Once you type in the number of days you want kept in iCal, close the preferences and then quit iCal.
Re-open iCal and check to see if the events are gone. If not you may want to leave it open for several minutes and then quit again.
Once the events are removed go back to iCal > Preferences > Advanced > Delete events "X" days after they have passed and make sure the check mark is removed to prevent future deletion.

Ical list view comes up blank

has anybody had the following issue: opening the ical app on the phone, if it is in 'List' view, then the screen will be blank. if you switch to Day or Month view and then back to List again, then the entries display normally. i didnt have this issue on my old 3G, so im surprised to be having it on iphone4, since it doesnt sound like a hardware issue, and i set up the 4 from my backup of the 3G.

List view is blank in event browser

I have noticed something strange in Final Cut ProX. If I select an event in the Event Browser while in Film Strip View I can see all of the files that are in that event. If I click on the icon to show clips in List View, none of my files can be seen in the Event Browser. If I then click back on the Film Stip View, the Event Browser stays blank. The only way to get it working again in Film Strip View is to close and re-open Final Cut ProX.
Am i doing something wrong or is there a problem with the program. I purchased the Ripple Training series and it seems that I should be able to just jump back and forth between the two views.

Due to the silence, I figured nobody else had this problem so I went ahead and called Apple for assitance. The issue turned out to some sort of corruption in my preferences. I was able to resolve the problem by trashing my preferences file.
In case some else has a similar strange issue, it is very easy to trash your preference file.
1) Close FinalCut Pro X
2) Open a finder window
3) Go to Library\Preferences
4) Find the file "com.apple.finalcut.plist"
5) Delete the file "com.apple.finalcut.plist"
6) Restart your computer
7) Open FinalCut Pro X and it should be like when you first started the program
This does not seem to impact any of your previously imported events or projects -- it just resets the program settings.
