My iCal mysteriously no longer syncs with my iPhone 3gs via iTunes sync. It worked great until about a month ago. I've made over 300 Calendar changes to my iPhone 3gs' Calendar, but not a single item has synced back to my iCal on my iMac, when I sync my iTunes (which I do almost daily). In addition, I've created some items on my iCal, as a test, and none of them sync onto my iPhone 3gs.
What gives? Ideas? Suggestions?

Well, I was able to manually sync my iPhone to my iCal one time, but haven't been able to get it to sync Calendar info since then. It was moderately successful, so I could export an iCal backup file. However, I ended up with about 200 MORE duplicate items on my iPhone, and what's weird is that many of these duplicates do NOT have any "edit" functionality! So I a, stuck with them being on the day they are at right now. Grrrrrr

Since I'd installed the new version of iTunes, iCal and Address book do not sync with my iPhone 3GS through iTunes anymore and I get an error message stating that iTunes can not sync with this iPhone. Was must i do to correct this issue and if i must, how dI reintall iTunes without loosing my content?

I have just bought a new IPAD. It has never been synced with a computer or via itunes on a computer, I tried to set it up using my APPLE ID and mobile number, it prompted me to connect to ITUNES. Unsure of what to do next, I closed it and took it to work. When I opened it one hour later it prompted me for the passcode. I never set up a passcode. I tried various combinations (my husband iphone, birthdates, kids passcodes etc) to see if somehow it had linked itself to their passcode. I called the shop I bought it from and was advised it would cost me 70 dollars to have it reset. I feel completely devastated that I haven't even been able to use the IPAD and I am already stuck. Can anyone offer some solid advice?

Since I updated my MacBook Pro's OS X version 10.6.8 to Mavericks 10.9.2, I am unable to synchronize my Address and Calendar Books informations with my iPhone 4 via iTunes. What do I need to do to update these data ?
I cannot synchronize the Address Book and Calendar data, even by means of iCloud or similar servers. It appears these data are not selected automatically during synchronization. How can one select Address Book and Calendar Book in Mavericks for synchronization ?

Upgraded my iTunes to the latest version and upgraded my iPhone 3gs to IOS5. Unable to sync my iPhone with iTunes after upgrade and is getting stuck on Step1. I am running my iTunes on Windows Vista PC and have tried the solution of netsh winsock reset and still no luck.
Also, I am not able to see any of my music on the phone post upgrade, but it shows on iTunes. Again not sure on how to make it appear on my phone. Any help would be much appreciated!!

Calendars in Outlook 2010 won't sync with my iPhone 3gs
Since I installed iOS 4.3 in my iPhone 3GS I cannot get iTunes 10.4 to sync my Calendars in Outlook 2010 with my iPhone. I have not changed any settings and it has worked without problems for the last year until I installed iOS 4.3
Can anyone help me sort this out.Here's what I've discovered: Outlook has two "versions," one for iCloud and one that is an Outlook data file ("My calendar"). You can check a box in Outlook to enable either of them (go to the Home tab and expand the navigation pane). The iPad does not sync with the Outlook data file. Anything entered there has to be manually copied to the iCloud version of Outlook in order to sync with iPad. So, to sync with iPad you have to uncheck "My calendar" in Outlook and then check "iCloud" and use that version of Outlook. But when I use the iCloud version, Outlook will not accept appointments sent to me by clients. It also screws up my communication with clients in other ways. So using the iCloud version of Outlook does not work for me.
I've discovered a third-party software that seems to solve this issue: Code Two Sync for iPad. You can Google it for reviews, the download link, etc. I downloaded and installed it and it immediately copied (synced?) all the appointments in the Outlook data file version of Outlook ("My calendar") to the iCloud version and synced them with my iPad. There were a bunch of duplicates, but I think there's some way to fix that. However...it also crashed Outlook on my computer (I have an older computer that is having issues). So I needed to uninstall it. I repeat, this is because my computer has been having other issues, I don't think it is the software's fault. I may try it again when I have more time to troubleshoot. Anyway, you might try this software and see if it works for you. -
Trouble Syncing Apps from iPhone 3GS to iTunes 10.2.1.
I have yet to update my iPhone 3GS to the newest OS because of an on-going issue I have been having with syncing my purchased apps on iTunes 10.2.1. Despite having authorized my computer and re-installing both iTunes and Quicktime, every time I try to sync my apps, I receive an error message that says that it was unable to sync my purchased apps because my computer has not been authorized. Since I did authorize my computer, this is obviously not true. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions for how to fix it? Thanks!

I currently have iTunes 9.2 and it tells me to upgrade to iTunes 10 or higher in order to sync my iPhone. When I downloaded iTunes 10 it told me it couldn't install.

Thank you!Because you need Mac OS X 10.5 or newer to sync it. Since you're running iTunes 9.2 and Mac OS X 10.4.2, you're almost certainly on a G4 or G5 Mac. These require the installation of Mac OS X 10.5 from a retail DVD to use that iTunes version.

No. Downgrading is not supported.
Apple have made sure that features that would slow down older devices are not activated in iOS 7 when running on those devices (features such as the parallax effect on the home screen, graphical blurring effects).
That's why iOS 7 isn't available on devices older than the iPhone 4. -
Cannot sync app to iPhone 4S via iTunes
I purchase infinity blade 2 app for my iPhone 4 and do lots of in app purchase up to USD 38.73. Now I try iCloud backup for my new iPhone 4S 64GB Black unit but the iCloud backup is workless because it's says no backup available and ask me to use it as a new iPhone. Then I try iTunes Backup. It backup every single photo, apps, and device settings. But it doesn't sync my infinity blade 2 app. I try app sync up to ten times but the results are same and that is infinity blade 2 app failed to install. Now I'm so worried and sad because I scare I will loss all infinity blade 2 data and my in app purchase up to USD 38.73 it's a huge waste. PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It will download infinity blade 2 app to my new iPhone 4S at no charge but will it also restore the data on old iPhone 4 to this new iPhone 4S. I mean I can take back from where I left or I have to start from zero. Plus I ask Mac City, the authorised reseller of apple consumer products and they say iPhone 4 powered by apple A4 chip and iPhone 4S powered dual core A5 chip, so the data not compitable from A4 to A5. Is that truth? If it is what about my in app purchase?

TS3999 Sync Problem: Home iCal Calendar from iMac - iPhone 3GS via iCloud
I'm unable to sync Home iCal Calendar from iMac (Snow Lion) to iPhone 3GS via iCloud - events appear correctly on iCloud.com but not pushed to iPhone. However Home events created on the phone sync fine in other direction (appearing correctly on iCloud & iCal) - but they can only be amended on the phone.
My other Work iCal Calendar works perfectly in both directions.
Have tried various suggestions to fix but to no avail. Any help appreciated - thanks.Really appreciating your help/time; it's so frustrating to try & sort this on your own!
So when I switch off iCloud on the phone, it asks me if I wish to retain the events from the iCloud - and I select it to delete them.
Then I go back into Calendar app, and I press on Calendar button(top left) I can see the On My iPhone" Calendar. If I select this to display I can see the events previously described. I then shut the phone off.
Having restarted the phone, I go back into iCloud settings to switch Calendars on and to at last answer your question (!!) there is no question to ask me to merge data (this good as it would duplicate entries)
Going back into Calendar app, it claims to be displaying both Home & Work calendars, but it only shows events in the Work calendar.
I've tried this a number of times and it is totally consistent in its failure to take Home events from the iCloud; I can't see anything different in the setup of the 2 calendars - do you think its a bug?
