ICal not syncing from computer to iPhone

When my wife enters events in her Mac iCal they don't show up on her iPhone. When she enters in her iPhone events in the calendar show up on her computer. Both computer and phone r set to sync to iCloud. Any ideas? Thanks

You are still under Snow Leopard, and basically iCloud is not supported.
Are we talking about iCloud calendar, or Gmail calendar ?
In any case, I would advice you 2 things :
1 - update to 10.6.8
2 - check iCal parameters for SN http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-13727_7-57511534-263/how-to-set-up-icloud-services- in-snow-leopard/

what do you mean they came to your desktop from an old phone, was the music not on your computer? have you added them to the itunes library? selected sync music?

IPhoto albums not syncing from computer to iPhone

I can't sync selected albums from iPhoto on my Mac to my iPhone.
First I connect the iphone to the Mac, then select certain albums under Photo on the iPhone.
It goes through the entire sync process, which takes several minutes; however, the selected albums do not appear on the iPhone.

ICal not syncing from MacAir to iPhone 3GS

Urgent help needed!
My extensive calendar I have on my MacAir (late 2010) running Snow Leopard (10.6.8) is no longer pushing all of my hundred appointments to my iPhone 3GS (running iOS5) calendar. A lot of similar issues posted, but I cannot find one with a decent fix, or without deleting my MacAir's calendar and re-installing it. Any help would be deeply appreciated!
I have moved from MobileMe to iCloud, so I know there is a tick because of that, but not clear as to why.
The error message I get when I click on the exclamation icon in iCal on my MacAir is as follows:

Can not delete photos or albums sync from computer to iphone 4s

I can not delete photos or albums that were sync from computer to iphone 4s. I tap edit but there is no delete icon. Help. This is my first iphone

You delete them the same way you put them there, the sync process.
Deselect the folder in itunes and sync.

Found the solution: in the settings select icloud calender as the default.

Audio books will not sync from itunes to iphone

I have four audio books on ITunes that at one time were synced to Iphone. Now they are not on the phone and I can not sync from Itunes, even though they are in Itunes as a purchase. I have gone to book and audiobooks and checked sync all on both.

Notes do not sync from iCloud to iPhone 4s AND Notes disappear from iPhone

My notes are not syncing from iCloud to my iPhone 4s.
I turned Notes 'off' on my iPhone (Settings>iCloud>Notes), then back on.
Now all of my notes on my iPhone have DISAPPEARED.
Restarted my 4s - no change.
I created a test Note on iCloud.com and it does not appear on my iPhone.
ALL of my Notes were only in the iCloud account on my iPhone.
Help please!

Notes will not sync with your iPhone 4S, nor your iPhone 3G, or your iPad unless you have Notes selected from the Info tab in iTunes.

On iCloud, the calendar will sync from computer and iPhone to everything, but will not sync FROM iPad

When I enter data on my computer or iPhone, the calendars all sync nicely; however, if I enter an event on my iPad, it will not sync, eventhough it syncs the information from the other devices. Any advice?

Once you set your Exchange Calendar as the default here:
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > scroll down to Default Calendar > Select your Exchange calendar
All new events should be created in your Exchange calendar unless manually changed.

ICal appts syncing from Mac to iPhone, but not from Mac to iPad.

I can't sync iCal from my Mac (MBP) to my iPhone. I recently upgraded from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion and I think that's when my iCal stopped syncing from MBP to iPhone. Help please!

Does anyone know how or correct this problem? Before the Mountain Lion upgrad (from Snow Leapord) I didn't have this problem. Now, my iCal on the phone seems locked or frozen, and any additions I make to my MBP do not sync to my iPhone. Really frustrating!

Well, you can try this: right click the file, go down to encode file, and reencode it for the Mac.

Photos not syncing from iPad to iPhone through iCloud

Hi,
I synced some old photos from my laptop (windows 7) through iTunes to iPad. iCloud is setup on my iPad 2 and iPhone 4S. The photos by default did not go to PhotoStream and i think that's the reason why they dont sync up with the photos on my iPhone even when I am in Wi-Fi zone.
Is there a way I could move the photos from iPhoto to PhotoStream on my iPad so that they sync up on my iPhone.
please suggest if I am getting the issue totally wrong and it is something I am missing here.

You don't have the issue wrong, I can totally see what you're thinking. It would be nice if Photo Stream worked that way, but Photo Stream only adds the photos you take with the device's camera after you take them. It stores the last 30 days of photos, or up to 1,000 (which is pretty good, if you think about it).
You can remove all the photos from your entire Photo Stream by going to iCloud on your computer, choosing Advanced in your account, and option "Reset Photo Stream".

ICal not syncing to computer...

I'm new to my iPod touch (4th gen). I'm guessing I have a setting off....when I add an event to iCal on my iPod touch and then later hook up (usb) my iPod to my iMac, it will not sync the events I added on the ipod. I checked my .me account and the new events are showing up there..
I've checked the manual it is simply states that Future events are always synced. Can I have them sync to me.com AND my computer?

Directions do not sync from Mac to iPhone

I am trying to get the "send to iphone" feature working with Apple Maps on the Mac.
MacBook Pro - Mavericks OS
iPhone 5 - iOS 7
1. Open maps on Mac.
2. Request my directions.
3. Click the Share button.
4. Select my iphone from the list.
5. See the Animations.
6. Never get the notifications in iOS Maps on my phone.
All the other iCloud functions work like, shared tabs, notes, calendar, email and keychain. Just not push of my driving directions.
Any Ideas?

Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your contacts are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking contact syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling contact syncing.

Selected iTunes Playlists Do Not Sync from Mac to iPhone

I've seen similar postings lately but no responses. I've recently updated iTunes by removing duplicate playlists that inexplicably appeared after buying iTunes Match. Had many problems syncing playlists with Match turned on, so I've shut that off in both iTunes and on my iPhone 5s. Repeated a number of steps that got my playlists on other devices (mini and Air) but to no avail. Anyone with a similar issue if you've found a workaround/solution I'd appreciate it.
