ICal on OSX Mavericks and iOS 7

I have upgraded my MacBookPro to OSX Mavericks and my iCal calendars no more syncronize between my iPhone iOS7 and the Mac.
Where do I set up how the calendars are being syncronized, on the iPhone or on the Mac ? I'm confused...

I am like you not a Mac expert and so far even the experts have not been any help.
You could try joining the discussion at https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5460803 but be aware that there are some unhelpful people throwing insults around at each other.
If you want to try the OS X Server option http://www.macworld.com/article/2061183/itunes-ios-syncing-gone-solve-it-with-se rver-.html is a good explanation of how to implement this. I've not tried it because I have read that even that solution presents a few problems, such as not reproducing old calendars.
As things stand my best advice, for what is worth is to send feedback to Apple

Hello, Im new to this website. Im having issues with my Macbook. I have the old 2009 model Macbook and it is our schools macbook. The school just upgraded these MacBooks to OSX Mavericks and when i try to open Minecraft it won't let me. It says no jdk installed. I also try to install Java SE runtime but half way through the Software Update it says cant download software because of network problem but I'm connected to the internet and i can browse stuff just fine. Can any one help with my problems. P.S. I don't know the administrator password or stuff like that. And yes we are allowed to play games and stuff on these laptops but only at home not at school so don't tell me i need to focus on school and not games.

Since you updated the operating system, it is probably Minecraft is missing certain files that ware remove or are not longer comparable with the new version of the OSX. what I recommend, is to check is there is an update for Minecraft and install that. If there is not update available, probably the best thing will be reinstalling Minecraft. Hope this will help you.

Try backing up your data and upgrading to 10.9.2.

I just downloaded OSX Mavericks and all my photos have disappeared; it's telling me that iPhoto is no longer supported on my Mac. How do I get all my photos back?

When you upgrade to 10.9 it installs the Java 7 JRE but there is no JRE6, so you HAVE TO download it from Apple before ANY CS5 or CS6 app will open. Other than that I haven't seen ANY issues with CS5.5 or CS6 in Audition, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, InDesign, Premiere, Photoshop, PSE9 or Lightroom 5.

I downloaded OsX mavericks and it doesn't want to instal.

i downloaded OsX mavericks and when i came to instal it a message appeared 'close all applications to instal'. i clicked on it several times, waited, and nothing happened. Then i clicked 'quit instal', the downloaded Os X mavericks disappeared and i'm downloading again. Did anyone face the same problem? Any idea what to do if it doesn't instal again?

Welcome to the Support Communities!
The "Install OS X Mavericks" application will appear in your Applications folder once it is downloaded.
Check the Applications folder to see if it is there, or do a Spotlight search for this file.
Double click on the Installer file to begin the installation.
The file will be removed once Mavericks has been installed.

Starting to type a name and getting a list of matches is good but it's not a substitute for being able to choose twenty or thirty names from your address book and dragging them into the "To" field. Of course many contacts can be put into a group but I may want to send occasional emails to many people who don't fit any group, and there may be no need to create a group just for that email.

I just upgraded to OSX Mavericks and when i use the gestures on my magic track pad it responds oddly. Sometimes it won't recognize when my simple gesture of scrolling through a document.

Gestures is not working like it did before. The side to side, forward back swipe, is very picky. Sometimes it takes four or five tries before it works. And yes I know how to do it. I have had a magic trackpad for about one year. And was greatly pleased by how it worked, BEFORE Mavericks. It has has indeed changed.
