Ical: print calendar week starts with tuesday

Every time I try to print my Calendar (iCal) calendars, they print with Tuesday (torek in Slovenian) as the first day of the week (in either Month or Week version). Always. I tried everything — turning some calendars on and off, and it doesn't help. I have Monday set as the first day of the week and the preview in Calendar (iCal) is working correctly, the problem is just with printing. Basically, I just can't print the normal week or month calendar with Mondays as the first days of the weeks (Monday = Ponedeljek).
Is this bug only present in Slovenian version or elsewhere too? Can I fix it somehow?
The Calendar is working fine, pon (Monday is the first day of the week:
When trying to print it, first day is switched to torek (Tuesday) — here in month view:
The same problem with the week view:

Changing the 1st day of the week to Sunday usually corrects this bug.

How can I print Calendar week from iPad?

Aside from taking a screen shot of the Calendar in week view and then printing that from the camera roll, you will need a third party app. I have seen this one recommended in the past .... CalPrint for iPad.

  • Calendar weeks start on monday

is anyone else having weird small problems like my calendar week starts on monday (all my other calendars are set to start on sunday) and i cant find any setting on my phone to change this. also i'm not sure how long its been like this but i recently noticed my native weather app has an icon that says 23° and sunny. i'm pretty sure when i first got this phone t said 75° and sunny (y does it seems that i have a celsius icon when my degrees are set to fahrenheit? ) i guess this isnt a big deal, but little things keep adding up to make me think i have a less-than-perfect 16gb iphone (as in it actually works less well than my previous 8gig iphone).

Man, I love the search function... lol
I had to reset and reboot my iPhone and wondered why suddenly the Calendar was starting on Monday. Forgot all about this tip.
    Thanks Jim.

  • ICal print in weekly view doesn't begin from monday but tuesday

    Hello,
I faced a problem while trying to print a weekly view of my calendars. Even though I have adjusted the calendar in the setting so that the week starts from monday, every time I try to print a weekly view of my calendars, the weekly view is is alway for the dates Tuesday - Monday, NOT Monday - Sunday. I tried choosing in the printing view that the printing would start from the date 27th of october (monday), but instead, the first date on output was always Tuesday (28th). The same happened when i chose that area printed starts from next week - it starts it again from Tuesday not Monday.
    Any help for this?

    epee91,
What setting do you have in System Preferences...>Language & Region>First day of week:?

  • Monthly calendar view starts with Monday?

When viewing the calendar in the monthly tab why does the week begin with Monday? Every calendar I've seen starts the week with Sunday, and unless I'm hallucinating, I swear that Sunday started the week in the old 1.1.4 version.

My PC did not come with Outlook Calendar. I had to load everything into my Iphone when I first got the phone and continue to manually update my calendar. The calendar on my PC is part of the Microsoft Works package and will not sync through iTunes. That maybe why the format has not changed with the various upgrades.

  • Force Outlook 2011 to use iCal default calendar to synchronize with google

    Here is a problem.
My default calendar program is Outlook 2011.
I have an iCal synchronizing with my google calendar and outlook to sync with iCal via Sync Services - so in theory my outlook calendar should be synchronized with Google.
I setup in iCal's preferences my google calendar as default (because iCal synchronizing only Google calendar not the other calendars on my mac) so at this stage, if I use iCal to add new remainder/appointment it is store by iCal in default calendar (which I setup to be my google calendar) and is synchronizing with goggle calendar right away.
Synchronizing between iCal and google works fine, however there is a problem with outlook sync with iCal, because Outlook synchronizing all items in iCal with “no category” calendar (which seems to be default and although I have changed in preferences of iCal default calendar to be the google one). Even if I delete all “on my mac” calendars - outlook creates always new one called “no category”, when I try to add new appointment with Outlook.
So there is question, how to force Outlook (or maybe syncservice) to use my google calendar in iCal as default. I think once it be possible, synchronizing between Outlook and my google calendar (via Sync Services and iCal) works great.
Anyone knows how to manage it?
    My system:
    Outlook is 14.1.4 version
    MacOs X Lion 10.7.3
    iCal 5.0.2

    Hi Maxulus,
Did you ever find a soloution to this, as we have the same problem?

  • Cross-Tab by Week Starting on Tuesdays

    Post Author: mhortman
    CA Forum: Formula
I would like to create a cross-tab for every week last month.  Easy enough, then my boss tells me "Our weeks don't start till Tuesday."How do I change that in a Cross-Tab?

    Post Author: V361
    CA Forum: Formula
You will need to create a formula, you should be able to use the formula in the cross-tab.
When you rightclick the crosstab, select, cross tab expert, you should have an option for a new formula.  or you can just use one, if it exists already, the formula will replace the existing field, wherever that is on the CrossTab

  • Apple calendar week start day error

Does anyone know why Apple has selected the Asia Pacific region calendar default week start day as Sunday? The beginning of the week is Monday in all countries I am aware of in this region.  Microsoft outlook lets you manually select which day you wish to display as the first day of the week. But apple does not allow this. I have called apple support and they told me there is nothing that can be done as they don't have the functionality to have a manual select option. However when I asked them why the default setting is Sunday instead of Monday, their answer was that this is the standard for all of Asia pacific. Which is incorrect. Do you think there is anyone that can be done to change this?

Bout all you can do is tell apple

  • How to get week starting with sunday date

    Hi
I have a date column "start_date", i need to create a report for all the weeks starting from sunday , for eg:
i need to get week dates as :
    mm/dd/yy - 01/23/11 , 01/16/11 , 01/09/11 and so on...
    Please help
    Thanks...

    Hi,
To find the last Sunday before or equal to start_date:
    SELECT     TRUNC ( start_date + 1
               , 'IW'
               ) - 1          AS week_start_date
...You can use an expression like this in a GROUP BY clause, also.
This does not depend on you NLS settings. ISO weeks always start on Monday. Your week starts 1 day earlier, so that's why the expression above has the +1 and -1.
    (Depending on you NLS settings,
    SELECT     TRUNC ( start_date
               , 'D'
               )          AS week_start_date
...might do the same thing, but I still rocommend using 'IW'; a few extra keystrokes isn;t much to pay for a guarantee that it will always work.)
I hope this answers your question.
If not, post a little sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements) and the results you want from that data.

  • Can I create a printed calendar in iphoto with ipad.  Don't see that option.

IPhoto used in past by others in family to create a family calendar as Xmas gift.  This year it is my job. Downloaded iPhoto for iPad from App Store. (Paid $4.99). Now can't find path to create a calendar.  Description of iPhoto includes calendar, but seems ambiguous on use of iPhoto iPad app for this. Maybe can only do calendars on the Mac version?  Can I use iPhoto for iPad to make a calendar?

iPhoto on the iPad can be used to make photo books, but not calendars. It is a very different program from the Mac version of iPhoto. I hope you have access to a mac to create your christmas calendar.

Search the AppStore for "Foto Calendar". I have not tried any of these apps, but there are quite a few, that claim to be able to create an "Awesome foto calendar"
