ICal print in weekly view doesn't begin from monday but tuesday

Hello,
I faced a problem while trying to print a weekly view of my calendars. Even though I have adjusted the calendar in the setting so that the week starts from monday, every time I try to print a weekly view of my calendars, the weekly view is is alway for the dates Tuesday - Monday, NOT Monday - Sunday. I tried choosing in the printing view that the printing would start from the date 27th of october (monday), but instead, the first date on output was always Tuesday (28th). The same happened when i chose that area printed starts from next week - it starts it again from Tuesday not Monday.
Any help for this?

epee91,
What setting do you have in System Preferences...>Language & Region>First day of week:?

  • ICal question; my calendar displays the week beginning on Mondays, but when I print it, the week begins on Tuesdays...how can I fix this?

My iCal display shows the week beginning on Mondays, but when I print it, the week starts on Tuesdays.  How can I fix this?

Grrrrr only just upgraded to Yosemite and I gather from the above posts that this glitch has still not been sorted out!  Have to go to settings and set start of week to Sunday to get it to print starting Monday - that's mad! Come on Apple sort it out.  Have to keep switching back and forth as I have to print out iCal for my accounts.  Cross face

  • Hi, how can I print a weekly view from my iCloud calendar?

Hi, how can I print a weekly view from my icloud calendar?

There is no way except to take a screenshot of the calendar and print it. Send a feature request to Apple via http://www.apple.com/feedback/ical.html and  http://www.apple.com/feedback/macosx.html

  • Ical: print calendar week starts with tuesday

Every time I try to print my Calendar (iCal) calendars, they print with Tuesday (torek in Slovenian) as the first day of the week (in either Month or Week version). Always. I tried everything — turning some calendars on and off, and it doesn't help. I have Monday set as the first day of the week and the preview in Calendar (iCal) is working correctly, the problem is just with printing. Basically, I just can't print the normal week or month calendar with Mondays as the first days of the weeks (Monday = Ponedeljek).
Is this bug only present in Slovenian version or elsewhere too? Can I fix it somehow?
The Calendar is working fine, pon (Monday is the first day of the week:
When trying to print it, first day is switched to torek (Tuesday) — here in month view:
The same problem with the week view:

Changing the 1st day of the week to Sunday usually corrects this bug.
Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

  • ICal prints in portrait view . .

Hi, I've recently installed leopard on my macbook pro that I purchased a year ago. I've just tried to print a weekly calendar and it is printing in portrait mode so half of the page is getting cut off on the side. I don't know how to go about fixing this problem.
    Any help is appreciated!

A similar issue affects our Phaser 7300. We attempt to print landscape from iCal and it chops off the edge - the calendar is moved about an inch too far to fit onto the paper. I've tried making a PDF as well and it does the same thing printing via Preview. Even if I select portrait. However it prints fine to our Samsung B/W. Both printers are networked. And in every instance it appears fine in the print preview. I've also tried printing the PDF from Acrobat and it does the same thing. Whatever the problem is, it is originating in iCal.

  • How can you view iCal Calendar in week view on iTouch/iPhone

If the option is simply unavailable i suggest Apple makes an update for it?
Another question i have up is: "Why can't i see my deligates' Calanders(subscribed calanders on google calanders which is linked to iCal) on "itouch/iphone iCal"

In a way there is an week view, showing only events, but it is the continuous List option.
I understand what you are looking for, more of a grid, which would require Calendar to work in landscape more. I would like that too at times. You can make the suggestion to Apple at http://www.apple.com/feedback/.
As for the 2nd part: I don't know that you can since they are appearing on your calendar as pulled data supplied from Google and not truly part of your own.

  • Major iCal disfunction. Weekly view doesnt load up at all.

I see iCal in the tool bar but but the program doesnt load when i click it in the dock. I try to open it from the tool bar and i dont get weekly view at all. Daily and monthly views come up but they are obviously seriously disabled and non funtioning. Basically MY ENTIRE ICAL HAS BECOME CORRUPTED. I tried reloading OSX. Any suggestions would sure help.

    Hi,
If you are not seeing the weekly view, it is probable that your iCal preference file is corrupted.
In your user's Library > Preferences find a file called com.apple.iCal.plist and move this to the Trash and restart iCal.
Post back if this does not fix your problem.
    Best wishes

  • In OS 10.3.1 calendar week view doesn't zoom like it used to

    Hi,
my favorite view in calendar is the week view. And I had it zoomed rather small, so I had a good overview over my whole week (especially, do I have an appointment in the evening). After the upgrade to 10.3.1, at least the week view refuses to zoom as small as it did, so I can only see the time from 9 to 5 without scrolling.
I know, I couldn't read the appointments any longer (on a Z10), but that was ok for me. I loved the overview with one glance. So why do you remove this possibility? If you don't like it that small, just stop zooming. For me the advantage of the small view outweighs the disadvantage of someone accidentally zooming too far. So please bring it back :-).
    Thanks!

Same problem with my z10 since 10.1 OS update. Please help.

  • Trying to add a network printer. I downloaded and installed driver from manufacturer, but mac still reporting error

I need to install a printer on my Macbook Pro. I downloaded and installed the driver from the manufacturer, Brother MFC 7820N. Then clicked the plus on add printer from System Preferences. I selected the printer I want to add as a nearby printer and the name and location populated.
The printer widget tells me it is looking for software to install. I already installed the software. Then I get an error saying it can't find software on the apple support server. When I try to select software to install, the dialog box is empty, so I can't select the software I downloaded.
    I'm dead in the water.

  • ICal on MacBook Pro will not receive dates from iPhone, but iPhone will receive dates from iCal on MacBook

I recently got a MacBook Pro after having an iPhone and iPad since last year.  I have iCloud set up on all devices to share calendar dates.  However, when I input an event on iCal on the MacBook everything is fine and the event shows up on my iPhone and iPad calendars, but when I input an appointment on my iPhone, it will not update to the iCal on MacBook.
    Help please?

First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings.

  • I can view a pdf file from work but not from home on same laptop

Running Windows 7 Home Premium. Adobe 11. Any ideas?

Can I download to the hard drive when I am at home? Or do I have to download to the hard drive when I am at work (That is where I can open it and view it)?
I'm not sure how to download that to my hard drive.
Well, if you CAN'T access it at home, it'd be kind of hard to download it there. Download it at work and you can open it "locally" wherever the laptop happens to be.
And PLEASE... don't reply from your email. it puts ALL of your personal information on display in a public forum. NOT SAFE!

  • ASDM doesn't run from application, but runs from web browser

Not sure what the deal is.
All of our firewalls are running 8.4(7.22) and ASDM 7.2.2.
The primary campus firewall works fine when running Program Files-->ASDM launcher
Our VPN firewalls only allow access to ASDM when launched from a web browser. Attempts to connect through the ASDM application respond with "Unable to connect to x.x.x.x".

If the devices are using the default self-signed certificate dynamically generated during boot-up they could have rebooted and thus changed their certificates (which would then have to be trusted anew by Java).
To avoid this, we generally try to use persistent certificates on the ASAs.
If that's the case for your, it's a good opportunity to generate a new certificate (using a 2048-but RSA key if you don't already have one) and bind it to the interface(s) you manage from.

  • 'find email' function doesn't work from iMAC but works fine on .mac webmail

I have a lot of email messages -probably 3600- and I am using Mail for Mac. When I go to the search box and type in a search term, it returns either (1) no results or (2) only a partial list of emails that include the search term.
If I conduct the search from the Spotlight box, it works fine and identifies all the correct emails.
The only software I've installed is Google Earth, Earthdesk, and Ilife 08. I un-installed Earthdesk thinking it might be the problem, but it didn't help.
It works fine when I search my email from .mac webmail...?
    Any help greatly appreciated!

I'm talking about just searching my email for various search terms- for instance, I just received a few messages about a party, so when I type "party" in to the search box, I am annoyed and surprised to see no messages pop up. If I type in "fun" then a couple of the messages that contain this word pop up, but not all of them.
    It's very irritating.
I am not in front of my iMac- I'm at work- but I don't believe there is anything between the search box and the messages....?

  • Print ical weekly view with fewer hours

When I print iCal in a weekly view, It prints 24 hours.  Obviously that isn't necessary.  How can I get it to print only 12 hours or the hours I have on my schedule?

I was able to figure it out.  Apparently I had the times in wrong for an event and it went from pm one day to am the next day, hence prining 24hr.  When I corrected this is solved my problem.  Thanks for your patience.

  • ICal "week view" question

Is it possible to advance one day at a time in the "week" view mode in iCal? I can only advance one week at a time.
I have my week starting day set to "Monday," but I sometimes want to be able to see events over a long weekend (from, say, Friday to Monday) or another period of time that doesn't begin on Monday and end on Sunday. In those cases, I have to either go to "month" view or reset my week start day in the preferences. Palm Desktop allows me to advance one day at a time while in week view, a feature I didn't know I was giving up when I converted to iCal.
