ICal Publish with Private Server Win server

I have iCal v3.0.5 and i have some events and i try to publish it using my Company Server (Win Server) and i enter the domain like this http://www.myservername.com and my username and password
and i try this one also, https://www.myservername.com but it doesn't work with me.
and my Windows IT said the WebDav is already enabled.

I have some problems with iSCSI on Win server. The problem is the following.
When I restart server it cannot find the path with VMs configuration and VMs can't start. After few minutes all problems are gone and HyperV can find everything but I must start VMs manually.
The server is DELL R710 with Broadcom NICs. I tried to configure LAN interfaces for iSCSI in two ways. First - from OS and second - from Broadcom BACS with disabled NDIS/Ethernet and enabled iSCSI. The results are the same.
I have two more servers connected to the storage in the same way and everything is fine there.
Events are following:
1. Source MSiSCSI. ID 108
Status 0x00001069 determining that device interface \\?\{8e7bd593-6e6c-4c52-86a6-77175494dd8e}#MsVhdHba#1&3030e83&0&01#{2accfe60-c130-11d2-b082-00a0c91efb8b} does not support iSCSI WMI interfaces. If this device is not an iSCSI HBA then this error
can be ignored.
2. Source bxois. ID 1
Initiator failed to connect to the target. Target IP address and TCP Port number are given in dump data.
3. Source MSiSCSI. ID 113
iSCSI discovery via SendTargets failed with error code 0xefff0003 to target portal *10.10.45.36 0003260 B06BDRV\L4SC&PCI_163914E4&SUBSYS_02351028&REV_20\5&2457021e&0&30050200_0 10.10.45.37.

As a workaround you can set the "startup delay" for VMs .

The possible cause may be the network stack is not fully prepared when the initiator was trying to connect to persistent targets. The initiator will try to connect. When the network stack is fully prepared, the connection should be successfully established.
If you receive this error when the iSCSI target device that is listed on the
Favorite Targets tab no longer exists, you can resolve this issue by removing the iSCSI target device from the list of favorite targets.
If you receive this error, and you cannot access an iSCSI target device that is still configured on the network, make sure that the client computer has network connectivity to the iSCSI target. Additionally, make sure that name resolution is working correctly.
If you have successfully connected to your iSCSI target device despite this error, it indicates that the connectivity issue was temporary. Therefore, you can safely ignore this Error event.

Ical delegate with private appointment blocks delegate event info showingup

Hi forum folks.
Thought I'd pass this info on... I've discovered that under certain circumstances, someone sharing out (delegating) their calendar to someone else, may be able to have that 2nd person "subscribed" to their iCal calendar, but no appointments show up in the actual calendar view (despite a tick showing). It will happen "all of a sudden" one day, without explanation.
I heard it might be related to an iCal event without a subject line, but there were no such events.
Instead, I tracked the problem to a "private" To Do. I made the to-do "not private" and then made it private again (in the original iCal calendar), and as soon as I did that, and refreshed the calendar on the delegated machine, the whole list of appointments re-appeared.
So, if one of your delegated staff are successfully "subscribed" to someone's calendar, but can't see any actual appointments, try checking through their To Do's for any private appointments.
The OS was 10.5.7, so I will aim to try installing 10.5.8, in case that prevents it (just a long shot though) for the future.

Try removing the com.apple.iCal.plist file from your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences Folder. To find that Library folder, use Finder>Go Menu>Depress the "Option" key>Library. Drag the .plist file to your desktop.
Next, go to your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Calendars Folder and remove any files with "Cache" as a part of the file name. Use the same method as described above to get to the correct Library Folder.
Restart using a Safe Boot, and after the Safe Boot is complete startup normally and test Calendar for functionality.

Multiple WINS server registrations

I have an Xserve running 10.4.11 Server which acts as a standalone server for Windows file sharing. However, it disappears from the network browser on the PC workstations at regular intervals.
I have found that most likely the issue is the cycling of the WINS registration servers of the network this Server operates under. There are a primary and secondary server which switch positions and the server disappears from the network browser because it is now registered with the secondary WINS server only.
In the Server Admin, is there any way to specify 2 WINS servers? There is only one box and commas don't appear to work either. All of the PCs register with both WINS servers by DHCP.

I should also note that the Server is configured with DHCP and a manual IP address.

No longer seeing Publish to private server after OSX/iCal upgrade

After Upgrading to OSX Lion and updating Ical, I have come across a problem.
Excuse me if I do not get all the options and menu options correct, I'm using a dutch version.
I have been using Ical to publish the calendar of our business to our website for some time now, I publish it to an ftp server where a php script presents the calendar to the visitors. After the upgrade I no longer see the "publish to private server" option under publish. I now only see "share with everyone" and "share with invitees". It has since not been synchronizing. I hope someone knows a solution or can give me directions as to what I'm obviously not seeing.

Calendars listed under your MobileMe login name (which reside on the MobileMe server) cannot be published to a web page. This facility is still available as before for calendars listed under 'On My Mac'.
MobileMe calendars can be shared privately to other MobileMe members (read-only or read-and-write); or publicly (read-only) to anyone with a CalDAV client - this includes iCal and Google Calendar (free subscription required for the latter).

Server not responding to ical publish request

This is probably a very simple problem but I can't work it out! We haven't had our server for very long and being a small agency we don't have a Sys Admin. We have had no problems with setting up the server, working from the server, sharing etc but can't get the ical service to work so that we can share appointments.
The server is set to share calendars with all users and with groups. On the individual computers when you go to publish the calendars on private server and put in the server name and login details the server refuses the connection request.
Under sys prefs in Sharing the server is visible and if you click 'edit' the info next to our server listing says "this server provides iCal services"
What are we doing wrong?

BizTalk Server 2013 SFTP Adapter with private key - Did not poll any files

We have a requirement to connect SFTP secure site with the private key and polling files. Initially I have
tested BizTalk Server 2013 SFTP Adapter receiver Port using Bitvise SSH SFTP Server tool and it was working perfectly in our local network environment( with public private key authentication).
However when we connected to Client SFTP server with private key authentication, It successfully connected to SFTP Server but
did not poll any files from SFTP Site. I added only one file to SFTP Server ( 145 kb file) for testing purpose.
However BizTalk Server 2013 SFTP Send Adapter is working well with the same configuration.
I could not find any errors in Event viewer also. I can download\upload file using WinSCP tool .
So I downloaded nSoftware SFTP Adapter trial version and deployed on server. nSoftware SFTP adapter is also working find
without any issues for Client SFTP Site.

BizTalk Adapter for SFTP is where the polling logic is implemented. It is not part of the SFTP Client logic. any SFTP Client is for User Interaction and you do what you want/when you want.
The BizTalk Receive however is for purposes of automation and the adapter polls the receive location using the credentials every polling interval to check for the files matching the filter. When it find a file, it will read and publish to message box or
submit to pipeline for processing. Your setting the polling interval to 0 (ZERO) might actually be disabling the polling.
Set your poll interval to a non-zero value and check the behavior.

Also - my battery has been telling me "service battery" for a LONG time and then it switched to "replace soon" som time ago. Can't really see what this has to do with anything but whatever.
That could conceivably explain all the problems you're describing. Replacing a Mac's battery should not be postponed since a failed battery will cause other problems to occur. It is also possible that its hard disk has failed, which means the information on it may soon become unrecoverable.
... my latest TM back up was from April 2014, can I just run this when I have rescued everthing and then it might not be as slow?
If that Time Machine backup remains intact, it may be the only viable means of recovering that Mac's information. I suggest you do not attempt to restore its contents to your ailing Mac.
Given that you are having trouble creating a newer Time Machine backup you should stop using that Mac immediately and have it serviced as soon as you are able. Do not take it to anyone other than Apple or a service facility authorized by Apple, for the very reasons you explained. If there are no Apple Stores in your vicinity search for an Authorized Apple Service Provider using the Contact Us link below. Use one of the options that appear under Contact Apple Support. Thank you for your posting in Windows Server Forum.
Can you specify the error which you are facing during VDI setup for server 2012?
I might think that you need to check the memory setting for server 2012, as might happens that due to less memory you can’t setup the VDI setup properly.
Memory: If the Master VM is configured with static memory, it must have at least 1024 MB as startup RAM. If the Master VM is configured with dynamic memory, the maximum RAM must be at least 1024 MB.

Integrating BI Publisher with ADF- Where is report server?

I used to work with Oracle Forms and Reports and Oracle Report Server but I am novice in using BI Publisher. I took a look at the following documents http://www.oracle.com/technology/pub/articles/vohra-jdev-xmlpub.html about integrating JDeveloper and XML Publisher and it was very useful but I have a conceptual question regarding comparison between BI Publisher and Oracle Report Server. It seems that in this integration, application server is responsible for running reports and it is not possible to use a different server for running reports as we were able to do in the old architecture using Oracle Report Server by just calling a url to run a report. Is it possible for BI Publisher to play a report server role ? Is it possible to put the load of running a report on another server using oracle bi publisher (which sometimes is absolutely necessary in enterprise applications).
Any help would be highly appreciated.

The easiest route is to pull out the jar files and build some code to call the xml publisher api's. At valspar were running the BI Publisher from oracle portal because of heavy front-end customization (otherwise we would have setup enterprise). It's working extremely well for us!
Pull out the jar files and gitty up. Remeber oracle has two sets of jar files and I have complained and logged a tar about this because the jar files in 11i vs enterprise have key differences is the xdocore.jar's.
Lexicals are handeled differently for enterprise vs. 11i. Take the enterprise version. Also, keep in mind, There is a bug in the enterprise because the XML trully doesn't group in a data template. The api's in 11i group, but the only group if the data is sorted as well another bug ( I would Log a tar, but kevin is too much of a pain the ass to deal with).
Finally, Oracle is not going to support once you pull out the jar files. On top of that, they won't support you in 11i, even if you are using documentated oracle api's.
If it's in 11i don't let kevin give you a hard time. He's extremely difficult and kind of douche if you ask me. That is the number one disadvantage of using the java api's, kevin and support won't help you.

Problem with loganalyz.exe and win server 2003, crashing

Getting this in my application log: "Faulting application lganalyz.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module msvcrt.dll, version 7.0.3790.4034, fault address 0x000303ba." When I try and generate a report.
Clean install on win server 2k3. No report is being generated. But if I copy the command line it give, I can run it in a cmd shell.
this is the cmd line I am using.
C:/Sun/PROXYS~1/extras/flexanlg/flexanlg -F -n daytona -P -x -i c:/temp/access.log -o c:\temp\report.htm -c hnrfeuok -t s5m5h10u10a10r10x10 -l c+5h5 -p ctl
anyone have ideas how to fix this?

Deleting and Publishing ical Calendar with AppleScript

I have a question I hope somebody can help me with.
Thanks to a previous manager, we're stuck with Microsoft Project for our product release scheduled management. It has no capability for exporting the information into an iCal format for publication on our web dav server (so that sales reps, programmers, and techs can view it). I've made a BBEdit script that can take a tab delimited export of the crucial information from Project and make it into an importable iCal file.
I'd like to find a way to delete the old iCal calendar, import the replacement and publish it using the same script. Unfortunately my Applescript skills are minimal; the BBEdit recorder has made it so easy to do most of what I need that I haven't had to learn all the rules for making a script.
If anyone knows if this can be done, and how, and could help, I'd really appreciate it.

I don't see a list of available calendars, so I think one needs the name of the calendar to access it. Is this correct?
You are partially correct, the only protection that you have in this case is the fact that anyone who wishes to access a specific published calendar has to either know or guess the username/calendar_name combination.
According to Apple: If your iCal calendars contain private or confidential information, you should not publish them on .Mac. Anyone who knows your calendar's URL can subscribe to it using iCal or view it using a web browser.
In order to prevent unauthorized access Publishing a password-protected iCal calendar to iDisk, offers a viable secure alternative.
