ICal published on a server can only be subsuscribed, but not be viewed

Hi have built iCal into an iframe on my website. For testing I used MobileMe, which worked without problems. But now I would like to store the .ics on another website. I could upload the file through iCal, but if I visit the website, Safari downloads/subsuscribe the .ics. I cannot view the Calender inside the website. Hope you undestand my problem. Any ideas and suggestions.

What I´ve made first:
Build an Webside in Dreamweaver. Add an iframe there and an html snippet for my iCal Calender. Then I published my Calender through iCal and mobileme. After that, iCal gave me 2 adresses. One for subsuscribe:
webcal://ical.me.com/my.name/Calendername.ics.
And one for viewing in a browser http://ical.me.com/my.name/Calendername
I copied the secend one and paste it in my iframe. Thats worked great. On my webside I could see my iCal dates. This was by publishing on my mobileme account. If i publish on "another server" I only recieve the message/url for subsuscribe.
My english is not the best hope it is al ittle bit clearer. Thanks

Why item level validation can only execute function but not procedure?

Dear all,
When execute my form, some parameter values will be passed to the text items.
Those values are the procedure name or function name for that particular item which are already defined in a package and those items are non-database items.
Suppose a particular item can be validated by a procedure or function. It depends on what value is passed into the program.
If the item when-item-validation is triggered, that corresponding procedure or function will be executed by calling the following codes A) or B):
A) EXECUTE IMMEDIATE 'BEGIN' || procedure || '(:1);END;' USING v_value;
OR B) DBMS_SQL.EXECUTE(...)
Basically, the form is working fine except 2 blocks which can only accept Function, i.e. only fired the function but cannot fire the procedure. Actually these 2 blocks are similar to the others blocks and they are also non-database blocks.
I am using Form10g.
Anyone have idea for that? Thanks for advance.

You cannot use Execute Immediate in Forms. You have to do that on the server in a stored procedure.
You should not use DBMS_SQL either. In Forms, you use EXEC_SQL, which is almost the same, except for the error handling. And it is VERY slow, since you make a number of calls to it, plus one for each variable passed.
Now... if you call a function, it must return a value. If you write code to dynamically call a function, this process must be complex enough to handle the returned value. The same occurs if your procedure that you call has any parameters. If there are no parameters, then it would be simpler.
If you want dynamic function or procedure processing, then I would suggest you just pass the value being validated plus the table.column name to a server-side stored procedure or package, and do all the processing on the server.

Save a pdf with security so vendors can only import & print but not extract?

We submit ads to newspapers all the time in pdf format...the newspaper imports the pdfs into their page layout program (Quark) for printing...currently we do not put any security on the pdfs because the vendors can not import the pdf into their page layout program Quark with security on.
Is there a way we can set security so the only thing the newspaper can do is import the pdf into Quark (or a page layout program) and print?
We would like to restrict the use of exporting artwork and copy from the pdf as well as saving the pdf as different formats.

I can only import SD, but not HD

I just got a new iMac for christmas with Leopard and the new iMovie, which supports AVCHD. However, when I try to import my movies into iMovie, it only gives me the option to import my SD videos. I can't even see my HD videos.
So, I was wondering how I can import my SD videos AND my HD videos, or perhaps, why I can't.

I have a similar problem....I am trying to import HD footage from my external drive into imovies HD. When I import the footage, I am unable to view it. The clip is there, but it will not display anything other than a black screen. I have a G4 Powerbook. The footage was imported into final cut pro on a G5, then copied over to my external drive for me to use on my computer. I have changed the video type to HD 1080 when creating the movie???

I get this pop up when trying to create a photo book through the iPhoto store.

The photos I have selected have already been imported so how and why do I do it all over again?
What do they mean by published albums? I categorize them into photo albums for organizational purposes after I import them from my camera or phone. So why can't I put them into a book now?
I have over 400 photos selected for a photo book for my child's graduation gift so how can I tell which photos I have to do this to?
Please help. Any insight wouyld be appreciated.

Give this a try: apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start with Option #3, followed by #4 and then #1 as needed.

What that's telling you is that some of the photos you want to use are not in your Library but online in a gallery you have linked to. You need to download them first.

This bothers me so much. It is absolutely ridiculous. I use my Apple ID as well as a family member's Apple ID to download music.
Every once in a while I will purchase a song and it won't download correctly or will give me an error that my computer is not authorized, a solution I usually fix by deleting and redownloading the song from the cloud. This doesn't work, however, when it happens to both accounts within 90 days.
It is incredibly frustrating to me that I have paid for a song, it downloaded incorrectly, and I must wait 90 days to try downloading it again because of these assinine policies.

Google them to confirm the settings that you need for the outgoing server, then check the setting you entered on the pad. Pay real close attention to the outgoing server name, and port. You may need to change in on the pad.

No other choice, you have to restore to use your iPad.

Use the media browser. In every open/attach window in tithe lower left hand corner under media ==> photos ==> iPhoto

From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.
If you wish, you may be able to salvage the errant extension by uninstalling and reinstalling it. Its settings will revert to their defaults. If the extension still causes a problem, remove it permanently or refer to its developer for support.

First, try to reset by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again.

HT4859 I have my iPhone and iPad backed up to iCloud. Recently, I had my iPhone stolen. I am trying to see the iPhone Notes but when I go to iCloud, I can only see my iPad Notes. How can I see the iPhone Notes?

I have been backing up my iPhone and iPad through the iCloud.
Recently my iPhone 4 was stolen but had recently been backed up. I am trying to find the Notes on that iPhone through the icloud.com.
When I go onto icloud.com, I can only see the iPad Notes - not the iPhone Notes.
Can anyone help?

Were both devices sync'ing their notes to iCloud? Or was one set to sync, and the other just to backup?
If you look in settings -> iCloud you needed to have the slider by Notes "ON" for both devices if you wanted to sync notes between both of them and iCloud. In that case, notes on each would be identical, and the same as you can view in the Notes app on www.iCloud.com
If you had the Notes slider "OFF" and the iCloud Backup option "ON" then your notes should be in your backup and restoreable, but you will not see them online in the Notes app there.
