Ical sync issue between Iphone and Ipad

I seem to be having issues syncing events between my Iphone to my Ipad.  icloud is enabled on both and it appears that all the calendars are enabled for syncing.  Any help with this would be appreciated.

I'm having this issue as well.  I have tried the add new account as was mentioned in other posts (going through the Advanced settings and changing the server location), but it appears that I would be duplicating accounts, and "that is not supported".  I also am having issues with alerts not going to me, but to my husband (who has a google.com email).  When I check the Address Book to see what the main contact card is, it shows my information, yet I am not receiving alerts and my email is not an option to select.  When I changed my Apple Id, he received the confirmation email (as did I).  What do I need to do to: 1) get alerts to come to me and not my husband and 2) sync my iCal with macbook, iPhone, and iPad?  Thanks!

  • Curious... Syncing Issues Between iPhone and iTunes?

Just curious... the past several months I have noted various concerns around "syncing" between iPhone and iTunes... yet don't recall any mention of whether it occurs between MAC OS or WIN hardware (desktops and or laptops). Furthermore, I am interested if anyone can comment whether these sync issues occurs mostly on TIGER or LEOPARD OS when accessing iTUNES. (Guess I should pay more attention to the noted OS field.
I ask because I am considering an upgrade to LEOPARD by end of month and don't want to jeopardize my syncing to my iPhone if it is a LEOPARD related issue. Thank you

I'm running Leopard and I've never experienced any sync issues.
These discussions include mostly problems, which is what these discussions are for - a user to user support forum for technical support issues and questions.
Which particular issue are you referring to?
Before installing a major OS X upgrade such as Leopard over a previous OS X version, it is a good idea to create or update your existing backup of important data stored on your computer's hard drive - including your iTunes library, photos, contact info, calendar events, documents, etc. I've never experienced any problems installing a major OS X upgrade over a previous OS X version, but I always update my computer's backup immediately beforehand to be on the safe side.

  • Safari bookmarks not syncing to Mac via iCloud - Syncing works between iPhone and iPad.

My iPhone and iPad both have the Safari iCloud option set to 'ON' in my devices settings. My bookmarks sync between my iPad and iPhone correctly but bookmarks do not synce between my Mac and my two devices.
In iTunes, when I have either my iPad or iPhone connected it says: 'Your bookmarks are being synced over the air from iCloud.'
What setting am I missing to get my bookmarks to sync properly from and too my Mac?

Go to the Apple menu >> system preferences >> icloud.  Make sure you're logged in with the same apple ID as you are on the other two devices.  If you're already signed in, you can click on Account details to verify that.
Then, make sure you have safari checked off in the icloud preferences.  If you already do, uncheck them for a minute or so.  Then recheck them.
    See if that helps.

  • Cannot sync bookmarks between iPhone and iPad

I have the latest iOS running on both the iPhone and iPad. I have the latest version of iBooks on both. I am running the latest version of iTunes on the latest version of Lion on my Mac and am logged into my iCloud account on all devices, with servcies enabled throughout all devices. In iBooks, I have enabled sync bookmarks on all devices. And just in case someone asks, yes they all have access to a wifi network.
However, my bookmarks are not in sync at all. In fact no device duplicates the same bookmarks.
So what is going on here?
I just saw an Apple ad with the tag line "it just works" ... Nothing could be farther from the truth. In the absence of any instructions, I feel like I have reached the edge of intuitiveness here ...

Seriously, why don't my Bookmarks synchronize between my devices?
Is this an iCloud problem or is it an iBooks problem?
Obviously selecting sync bookmarks in the settings for each device is not enough ...

  • ICloud Sync issues between iPhone and MacBook

I have a peculiar problem. I have iCloud turned on for Contacts, Calendar and Notes between my iPhone 6P and my MacBookPro running OS X 10.10.2. If I make  a change or add an entry on the MBP, it does not show up on the iPhone until I make a change to something on the iPhone, then the iPhone changes go to the MBP, and the MBP changes then, and only then, appear on the iPhone.
I have the same iCloud account on both devices. Very confused. (I have not done anything regarding Family Sharing, and I do have the iCloud drive turned on.)
    Any clues?

  • How to sync Samples between iPhone and iPad

When using iOS 6 and its updates, it would seem that Sample downloads from iBooks would sync automatically between my devices - iPhone 5 and iPad 3. Now that I have iOS 7(.0.4 on both) this does not happen even though the same 'switches' are enabled in the iBooks settings. Nor are PDF files on one device synced to the other. Any one else experienced this and if so is there a cure please??  Thanks

My contacts are not syncing over to my iPhone, even though it says they will do so automatically.  I also now have duplicates and triplets of the contacts.  Any ideas on how to correct both of these issues?

I have experienced the same problem with Outlook 2007 and the most recent i phone purchased late last year. Have you had a succesful reply as i do not want to delete my duplicates just to have the same problem repeat itself again?

  • Syncing issues between iPhone and Outlook 2003

After syncing my iPhone with my Outlook contacts, I realized that some of my contacts were doubling up - both in Outlook and on the iPhone. Per a friend's instructions, I had to go in and manually delete the doubles in Outlook and did the same thing on my iPhone. It's been about a week now since I last synced and suddenly I started realizing that more and more of my contacts are missing!! Is there anything i can do to retrieve them?
    Thank you!

  • Texting issues between Iphone and IPAD

I set up my young daughter's IPAD using my Apple ID.  Quickly we realized that she was getting the texts that I was sending from my Iphone (to other people) on her Ipad.  She was reading things she shouldn't have been....so I need to change this.  I tried to give her a new Apple ID (which worked for app store/ Itunes) but the Texting portion (Imessage) is still linked to the original Apple ID.  Is the only way to fix this is to totally restore the whole Ipad and put in her Apple ID?  Will that even fix it?  I don't want to turn off her messaging as I want to be able to text her but the texts go to both devices automatically.  UGH!

Okay...so I think I was able to fix it with your directions.  There is still a glitch, though.  When she tries to text her dad, it says his phone number and email  is not registered with Imessage.  I checked everything on his phone and it is registered and active.  When he texts my Iphone, it comes across as an Imessage, so why is her Ipad saying he is not registered.  I deleted his contact info and redid it, too.  It still didn't work.  It goes to my other friend who has an Iphone, so I'm at a loss.

  • Sync issues between MBP and iPad with iBooks

When I load a new PDF into iBooks on my MBP it does not sync with my iPad, why?
If I move items around in iBooks they move on my iPad, but new PDF's do not appear automaticaly.  I have to email them to myself and manual put them in.  Also, when I open iTunes the new PDF's do not appear there either.

Open iBooks on your Mac and go to iBooks>Preferences>General and make sure you have checked "Sync bookmarks, highlights, and collections across devices".  On your iOS devices, go to Settings>iBooks and make sure you have Sync Collections turned on.
