Icalendar access

At work, I authorized a macbook to have access to my icalendar. Now I am on maternity leave, and want to deauthorize that computer, and make it so my calendar is no longer shared. I went into "authorize accounts" but that macbook is not listed as an authorized computer. However, a coworker told me that my calendar events are still popping up on the macbook air. Is there a way for me to see which devices are authorized to just my calendar and edit them?

When I open Calender I get a message saying, "The Server Responded with an Error. The request for account “iCloud” failed.  The server responded with “403” to operation CalDAVAddCalendarQueueableOperation."
MacBook Pro 13" with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)
I did the iCloud sync at Genius Bar (HK)...... the sync took forever for 1+ hour..... have to quit the process for I've another appointment....
I got the problem at HK Genius Bar, in other wifi hotspot in HK and in China....!
CAN'T USE CALENDER NOW!

  • Error 403 when accessing iCalendar

When accessing iCalendar I receive the message error 403 on CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation. Can anyone tell me how to fix it?

In September iCloud stopped the service for iCal on Macs, not for all but for a number of iCloud users.
You are one of these iCloud users. A fresh Yosemite shows the same error message, for one months now.

  • ICalendar error message 403: access not permitted

I keep getting a error message saying:
"The server responded with an error: Access to a certain account in "iCloud" is not permitted. The server responded: "403" to operation CalDAVWriteEntryQueueable Operation."
Then I have the option to "Ignore" "Try Again" or "Revert to Server" and none of those options work or correct the problem.
    Help!  Thanks so much!

  • After syncing and updating my iphone my iCalendar on my computer lost most of my information. Including wiping out an entire calendar group.  When trying to readd the calendar group it won't let me add events to my calendar under that category.

After syncing and updating my iphone my iCalendar on my computer lost most of my information. Including wiping out an entire calendar group.  When trying to readd the calendar group it won't let me add events to my calendar under that category. A message pops up that says: "You can't add events or to do items to a calendar group. Select an individual calendar in the calendar list, then create your events or to do items." Any help here would be greatly appreciated! I would like to either retrieve the old information or find a way to add the category back in to start over. Thanks in advance!

hi i had the same problem today when i updated my itunes to latest version. however, i have just found my songs in the 'itunes media' folder. this was accessed through 'my music'  then keep clicking through until you find itunes media and all my library songs were in there and i then just added these files to my library and all were restored however, i have lost all my playlists but at least my 700 songs are back. very dissapointed with apple that they have let this happen with their latest update, the previous version was miles better than this one . hope you find them. stevo

I ran on OS X in Safari 6.0.4 with the user agent set to Safari iOS 5.1 - iPhone and it worked fine.  The console did show this error.
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
    http://www.dyhas.com/css/images/arrows_h.gif
I also ran in the iOS Simulator v6.0 simulating iOS 6.1 iPhone. No crash but the page layout and navigation is definitely not optimized for the small window.
Have you examined the the diagnostic log on the iPhone to see why Safari crashed? The information is not hugely informative if you are not the app developer, but it sometimes can provide clues such as when an app is forced closed due to excessive memory usage.
Settings > General > About > Diagnostics & Usage Data.
Look for LatestCrash and LatestCrash-MobileSafari.  Also see whether there is a LowMemory log with a nearby timestamp.

  • Can't open iCalendar in Mountain Lion

When I try to open iCalendar in Mountain Lion "Calendar Cache" couldn't be moved because you don't have permission to access "Calendars"
comes up.  Further directions don't work.

I'm not sure what you mean by "iCalendar".
The current Mountain Lion app supplied by Apple is called "Calendar".  The old app had been called "iCal".
So iCal is now gone.  If you're talking about that, I don't know what to say.
If you're talking about Calendar, then I suggest running Disk Utility (in Applications > Utilities) and do a "Repair Permissions" on your hard drive.

  • My icalendar is "stuck" on upgrading!

I cannot access any of it's features.  When I go into system preferences, ICloud, the Icalendar box is checked, but "gray" and it constantly says "starting".  My mobile devices are fine… it's just my macbook ical that seems to be frozen.  Please help!

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
    Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest by trying to open the iCloud preference pane. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
    Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you boot, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, reboot as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of steps 1 and 2.

  • Any way to sync icalendar across 4 different iphones, each with a different icloud account?, Any way to sync icalendar across 4 different iphones, each with a different icloud account?

Basically the subject describes my question. Any way to sync icalendar across 4 iphones? so each of us could access the app, change an event time, location, etc. and it would edit across all 4 devices. Any pointers would be super helpful. thanks

You can share an iCloud calendar. Easiest way... log into icloud.com from a browser on your computer. Go to the calendar. Create a calendar to share. Click the little wifi-looking sharing icon next to the calendar name, invite the people you want to share it with, and Bob's your uncle.

  • ICalendar Reminders - Custom Times?

I try to take advantage of as many of the built in apps as I can on my iPhone and iPad. The one I really haven't given much use to is the calendar. This was primarily because back when I first got the phone, I hated having to type events in using the keypad and preferred something I could access from a PC that would update the app on my phone etc. (my baby girl iMac had to get sold in favor of a Dell). Now with iCloud this has been solved for me however so I'm considering moving everything into iCalendar and out of the app I use that has much less functionality.
Here's my one and only issue... I can't seem to find a way to select a reminder for an event that is any earlier than 2 days out. Is that the case or am I missing a way to create a custom reminder (i.e. 1 week)?

Ok I see where I can set "1 Week" using the phone but not in iCloud. That's kinda silly. Anyone know how to do 1 week or custom in iCloud (or custom on iPhone other than 1 week)?

  • ICalendar Stuck on UTC

I am trying to figure out why the time zone switches from Eastern Time to UTC in my iCalendar app. I checked the Date & Time Panel (System Preferences) to make sure it is set to Eastern Time. I also have it set to automatically access the Apple's time server. In the iCalendar app, I select Eastern Time in the drop menu in the upper right corner and the close that pane and relaunch iCalendar.
When I create any new event, I select Eastern Time. Whether I close the pane for that event or relaunch the iCalendar app, it default to UTC. It clearly says Eastern Time in the upper right hand corner and the Date & Time Panel is correct. Past events are not effected and still say Eastern Time. It just the new entries that will not stay in Eastern Time. What is going on here?

        gordonmisty,
Oh wow! I'd be very alarmed with seeing this red eye. Thank you for completing all of those steps.  Is there any physical or water damage to the device? Are you aware if you're still under the 1 year manufacturer's warranty?

  • ICalendar synching problem - Please help.

My husband and I share ICalendars.  He has a work desktop, an iPad, an iphone and I have an MacBook Pro and an iPhone.  If he enters an event in iCalendar from his iPad, it does not show up on any of the other devices.  If either of us enters an event from any of the other devices, it shows up on all of the others.  The problem appears to be only with the iPad.
Please tell me what I need to do to get an event entered on the iPad to show up on our other devices.  Thank you.

    JDandMcGee,
It sounds like there is only one device, the iPad, that is not syncing iCloud calendar events to the other devices. I would start with these steps from the following article to help get iCloud working correctly on the device:
    iCloud: Troubleshooting iCloud Calendar
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3999
    Troubleshooting on iOS devices
First, confirm that you've turned on iCloud Calendar by tapping Settings > iCloud on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, then check that Calendars is turned on.
If you are having trouble with the Calendar app on an iOS device (iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch) and iCloud Calendar, try these steps, testing after each to see if the issue is resolved.
Make sure you've updated to iOS 5 or later. If your issue isn't resolved, try installing the latest version of iOSsupported by your device. For instructions on setting up iOS for iCloud, see iCloud Setup.
Make sure your iOS device is online. Attempt to view www.apple.com in Safari. If you can't connect to the Internet, your iCloud calendars and events will not update in your Calendar application. Learn how to troubleshoot your Internet connection.
Open a secure website to test if ports 80 and 443 are accessible. Calendar requires port 443 access to iCloud to push and fetch updates to and from the iCloud Calendar servers.
If recent changes don't appear, try to refresh your calendars:
In iOS 7, open Calendar and tap the Calendars tab to load the Calendars list, then pull down on the list to refresh.
In iOS 6 or iOS 5, open Calendar and tap Calendars in the top-left corner to load the Calendars list. Then tap the Refresh button in the lower-left corner of the Calendars list window.
There are plenty more steps to try if these don't get it going if you need them in the article as well.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    All the best,
    Sterling

  • Importing iCalendar to iWeb

How do I import my iCalendar into iWeb as a new page on my website?

I don't think you can. It might be possible to publish your iCal calendars to .mac and then provide a link in your website to it. I'm not sure if this will work or not, as I don't remember if it is possible to access calendars published to .mac with a browser. If it isn't, there are some other free calendar hosting sites (and some that charge fees) that do provide a web browser interface.
