ICalendar error message repeatedly popping up
I am trying to update my iCalendar and have an old deactivated gmail account set up with iCal. The calendar keeps automatically trying to sync the calendar and repeatedly failing, but the error message pops up EVERY time I close it, so I can't delete the old gmail account from my calendar, because I cant click anything while the error message is up. I have deleted it from my iPhone and iCloud, but it will not delete from my computer. Help!!!
One common problem seems to correlate with non-Apple extensions, possibly loaded long ago and migrated from an older Mac OS X.
Linc Davis suggests this as a way to find those non-Apple extensions:
Please copy or drag -- *don't type* -- the following command into a Terminal window, press Return, and post the output (if any):
kextstat -kl | awk ' !/apple/ { print $6 } '

After soak test update, I get error messages repeatedly. The majority are "unfortunately, messaging has stopped", but you can replace messaging with "android os", or any other process, as it happens with more than just messaging. I have had numerous people call and ask why I didn't reply to their texts...and I look, but have not received any new texts. YES, I have restarted phone. I have cleared data as well as cache on all apps. I have downloaded the vzw messaging app, which seems silly, since it happens with several different processes and apps, but all to no avail. I am missing texts from my employer, from my family. This did happen, but rarely, before this "soak test". It is now Kitkat version 19.6.3.obake_verizon.en.US. THIS is when I started having problems...like 50 times a day kind of problems! I have seen hundreds of posts all over the internet over the past 3 days. Does no one know how to fix this??? Shouldn't there be a way to revert phone to a pre-update state? and no, hard reset did NOT work!!!! I have been with verizon for well over 15 years, but I have not upgraded my lines and will not in July either. This is ridiculous. It's not like my games aren't working, it is my messaging and "android os"...my lifeline at work!

Oh no, I am sorry to hear your messages are not working since the software update. I greatlly appreciate doing all that troubleshooting to try and get the messaging application back in business. I know how much I rely on my messages so I can understand the urgency to get this resolved. Have you had a resolution ticket opened since you started experiencing issues with your messages? Does this happen with all contacts or just some? Please provide additional information to ensure we get to the bottom of this for you.

How do I stop this error message from popping up every time I start up Safari ?
Error message reads...
Safari 5.1 (v6534.50) has not been tested with the plugin Pithhelmet 3.0b6 (v 3006)
As a precaution, it has not been loaded. Please contact the plugin developer.
I have removed every trace of Pithhelmet, (via spotlight)
Trashed the preferences for Safari, restarted computer to no avail.
It just keeps keepin on.
ThanksIn the past I was able to bypass the message by editing the Info.plist file and updating the MaxBundleVersion variable, but not so this time around. As of today the developer seems to indicate there's no immediate fix becuase of how Safari 5.1 handles multiprocess page rendering. Probably best to stay tuned to Mike's website for now.

Uninstall and then reinstall the iCloud control panel on your computer.

"Sync encountered''' an error while syncing: Unknown error. Sync will automatically retry this action" - this error message keeps popping up whenever I am on my email accounts. I hit the "Sync Now" icon, but it comes back after a while.
Note: I just tried deleting and re-creating my Sync account, reinstalling firefox, and deleting places.sqlite, with no success. And "Eooro" from the title is supposed to be "Error".

Clip for trailer won't load, regardless of the size the error message keeps popping up, "That clip is not long enough. Choose a longer clip for this part of the trailer."
I got it out!
Here is how.
None of the Apple-suggested ways worked. However, before totally giving up I started Roxio Popcorn and pressed the big eject button on it. It came out effortlessly!
So, I thought "Weird..."
I put the CD back in and reproduced my original problem. I got it out just as easily using Roxio Popcorn Eject feature.
So, I then thought "Maybe it is the disk?" There is nothing wrong with the disk as far as I can tell. It is perfectly round, has a smooth label-side surface. It is not even a label, it is a standard software install disk you buy in stores.
I inserted a different disk. The mini mounted it, I browsed it, and then ejected it by dragging it to trash. Worked fine.
I tried a few other disks.
The drive seems to work fine.
Maybe that CD is cursed, I dunno. I tried that disk in my PowerBook and it works fine there.
Who knows ?
I am still backing up my hard drive as I type this message in case I need to take it to the store. -
I'm running a script for a game through grease monkey, and I require the script to run 24/7 without me needing to be there 24/7 to press "continue" when this error message comes up "To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (such as a search or order confirmation) that was performed earlier." I've looked though all the options and can't find any way to prevent this from happening. I've uninstalled and reinstalled grease monkey, the script, and firefox itself, and nothing makes it go away. I have friends using the exact same scripts with the same version of firefox and they never get the error message. Is there something I can do to get rid of this inconvenience, as it literally does not help at all, I see no purpose in even displaying the message, obviously if I didn't want my browser to refresh automatically, I wouldn't be using the script.
I think I've got it fixed....I "reset" my mail program, I deleted my mailbox then re-created it and I'm all set for now.

Hi all,
I want to display an error message in a pop up window , if some mandatory fields are not filled but problem is that if I am displaying the error message in the view which I am using in pop up window that error message is also getting displayed in the main view. I do not want to display the message in the main view.
Kindly tell me how this problem can be rectified.

I am getting an error message popping up on my creative cloud stating that an error has occurred in downloading please try again. When I try again the message pops up again.

Error message keeps popping up "Network Connection could not find PPPoe Server"
I am trying to update my wife's iBook, 2,1 for my mom to use. It is running OS 10.6.8. Every time I wake up the computer an error message pops up saying "Network Connection could not find a PPPoe Server." It does it periodically when the computer is on. It will drive my mom nuts and worry her. Can anyone help me stop this from happening?

KCHelp is right here, front and center caibadass. May I ask what's the reason for the mobile number change? Are you logged into My Verizon as the account owner to make such a change? If you can share the details then we can assist. Keep in mind that if the number is changed online then there is not a cost.

Trouble Installing CS4 software, Error message keeps popping up
I currently have Photoshop CS3 on my computer (Windows) and I'm trying to install the disc for Creative Suite 4, Design Premium. Before the installation even starts an error message pops up that states, "Can't find file:///E:Adobe%20CS4/resources/main.html. Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so, how did you resolve the issue. Thanks in advance.
Sounds like a bad disk. Can you try it on a different computer? Can you
copy it to your harrdrive?

Java Script error message keeps popping up
I have been using Firefox for years...but i just started getting a CONTINUAL JavaScript Application error message. It says:
