i installed fp11.operation was succefully done/received congrat.from adobe site,i cant see no labels,cant find the program in comp.only in uninstallers.help me to solve this problem.

Flash Player is a set of browser plug-ins, not a standalone program. You won't find anything more.

Usually that error can be cleared up by renaming the personal config folder. Turn on your OS's hidden files and then go to...
C: > Users > your username > AppData > Roaming > Dreamweaver (version) > your language > configuration
Rename the configuration folder configuration-old and start DW up. That should create an entirely new configuration folder and correct the menu.xml file.

I'm not sure I know what made the difference, but I was finally able to download & install the FP11.9 software a couple of hours ago. Now I'm watching my Mavericks download crawl along at a glacier's pace. (Rural DSL service -- better than dial-up, but still leaves a whole lot to be desired.)
When I worked with the Mac folks they had me check to be sure both the pop-ups & java permissions were on (Pop-ups were, java wasn't.) along with making sure the firewall wasn't on. They also had me de-install/delete everything from the earlier version of FP on my system.
One thing that did trip me up -- the downloaded software window stayed hidden behind the browser window where I was getting my FP plug-in blocked error so tech support & I both assumed that nothing downloaded. Once I noticed that window in the back & went through the other steps with Mac Support, double-clicking on the downloaded software to install it finally worked.
I don't know if this will have any application to your problem, but I wish you luck. I've been struggling with this since yesterday.

Have you tried the power button?
it sounds like the phone is off.
If the power button does not work try charging.
If you have been charging and the phone is still black (no sign of the backlight) you should seek hands on service from a qualified technichian.

Creative Cloud fails to see installed apps

I have installed Creative Cloud in a non-standard way. I install the applications on a separate drive from the operating system (and indeed where Adobe insists that Creative Cloud installs itself), this is done for all of my applications as it means that, usually, a re-install of the operating system for whatever reason doesn't require re-downloading and installing everything again.
Recently the C drive failed completely and had to be replaced. All of the CC (2014 versions) applications still exit and can still be launched from the drive they were installed on, but the CC application itself fails to see the installed app's.
I've tried changing the installation folder to the one where they all are; changing the language; signing in and out after each action; and deleting/renaming the file in the OOBE folder.
So, two questions :
Why does CC not have an installation path other than C drive? There is nothing in it that requires it be there.
How do I make CC "see" all of the applications that are already installed? (N.B. deleting the folders and re-downloading isn't a solution, it's a work-around that is clumsy and stupid, putting the entire onus on the customer)
Finally, am I the only one who finds the CC launcher to be the biggest PITA of the new version of CS? Every other version I've used worked and updated faultlessly, the latest version just seems to be an absolute mess.

The install info is stored in the opm.db and caps.db files and those went down the drain with your system drive. There is no way to restore it without reinstalling. The rest is not worth debating. Things just are as they are.

Can't see Install button in App store

I have iphone 4 black. Although everything is working fine, I can't see the install button In the App store and unable to download any application. Ofcourse I have an apple id which I'm using. I have tried everything, but unable to find solution. Please suggest

App Store Doesn't See Installed App

Hi Everyone,
I have the following hardware - iMac 2.66 Ghz Intel Core 2 8 GB Ram.
This computer is over three years old, so this summer, I reformatted the hard drive, then installed Mountain Lion - I am running OS X 10.8.2
I reinstalled all of my apps but have noticed the following problems. Any programs that I installed via the App Store, do not update themselves. In fact, they don't show as installed.
For example, I purchased Final Cut Pro X and Compressor 4. For the last two updates, FCPro X doesn't auto update. For today, I saw that FCPro 10.0.7 was out. I went to the App Store and clicked on updates, but it didn't show FCPro needing updating.
So, I went to Purchases, scrolled down, and saw that both Final Cut Pro X and Compressor 4 had "Install" highlighted - vs update. This happened a couple months ago when I had to update both of these programs.
I am going ahead and reinstalling FCProX, but would rather have a fix that just installs the updates.
Any ideas?

I just tried that and got the message that "I don't have the appropriate permissions"
Some additional information ...
Before I reformatted my hard drive, I downloaded Mountain Lion. Then, before I upgraded the computer, I used MacWorld's technique of creating an install disc with an external USB drive.
I booted off of that drive, formatted and installed Mountain Lion.
In addition, when I go to the App Store, under Purchases, Mountain Lion's bar shows "Install" And even though I just reinstalled FCPro X and it now shows the current version of 10.0.7, it also shows "Install"
Any ideas? I'm thinking about just installing Mountain Lion again and see if that clears up the problem.

I bought Illustrator CS6 DVD for Mac OS but cannot see install.app file on disk. Anyone know how I install the program?

Adobe Illustrator CS6 disk bought for Mac OS but when I run the DVD the disk appears but there is no viewable install content. I can't see an install.app file and the program is not automatically running. Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong? Thanks.

Are you able at all to execute the install file manually?
You can always try downloading tye installation instead of using the disc. Your serial number from the disc will work for the download.

I am trying to install Firefox and it seems to be frozen on import screen. Should I see progress or be able to cancel install? I cant go back, next or cancel and nothing appears to be happening.

CS6 RT3D- not seeing my edge in main comp?

CS6 here Windows- Trying to get a Pre-comped LOGO created in 3Drt to carry over to main comp and show it's extrude... here are some screen shots and notes to preview.
I tried light to show extrude... no luck.
I tried does not accept light to use it's own light source No luck
I am losing my edge value on rotation, when the LOGO rotates it exposes a post card in space not an extruded text layer as seen in last pic pre-comp (>spread)
Both above are LOGO accepting lights off and on.... Ok for viz..
This is a rotation shot light on and off..no edge to see or viz...

Tried your suggestions, I attached a couple of pics for clarity. From what I am gathering is that, when I stage my Pre-comp with light and extrude, it will carry over via collapse Transform mode. However it does not afford a 3d edge like in 3drt.... When I staged my Extruded text as shown, I get the extruded look, however on the rotation I get a post card. Inspite of the layer showing depth when actuating the collapse transform switch.
In other words there is not 3D in AE_CS6, Only stretched art to appear 3D... Funny how it can appear 3d in 3drt mode but won't carry over into a main comp, although the 3drt is pre-composed as would be a movie? (in it's own container) Unless I am missing another switch?

Brush menu closes when I try to scroll to see installed brushes PSE7&9

This is actually for a friend, I've tried everything I can think of so I'm posting it here now.
She's complained for a long time that when she goes to choose a brush if she moves her mouse to the side of the brush palette to scroll down and choose a new brush it will just close the window. So she can only have one brush set installed at a time, and then only if it's small enough to be seen all at once.
I suggested she uninstall everything but the defaults and load back in her brushes one at a time (thinking she might have a zillion brushes installed) and it still happens. She tried on a different computer, with a different mouse, and even bought and installed PSE9 and it does the same thing.
Any suggestions what this might be? I'm stumped!

Worth a try, though still not getting to the root of the problem - why does the program close the window when the scroll function is engaged? Arrow keys kinda slow and clunky when there's a lot loaded. But I'll have her try and see and let you know!

I downloaded the mavericks install, and then my comp told me to erase my harddrive because its corrupted. All my files are on there, now it wont even let me open my laptop without having me reboot to the comp to the original state. how do i undo this all?

did you try to install Mavericks, or did you only download its installer without running it? Which version of OS X is currently installed on your MacBook Pro? Do you still have the two grey installation DVDs which originally came in the box with your MacBook Pro? Do you have backups of the files on your MacBook Pro from before you downloaded the Mavericks installer?

Itunes 64 will not install on my Dell comp. running windows 7

I am trying to install Itunes 64 on my new Dell computer running Windows 7. The Installer program is running OK because I can install windows updates without any trouble. The Windows installer cannot execute the file I downloaded from the Apple web site. Any suggestions?

Steps on Installing iPod Shuffle on Comp that has iPod Mini Installed

I will be getting an iPod Shuffle soon and will be installing it on the same computer that already has my iPod Mini (2nd gen) installed. It's a PC and I'm running XP Home with iTunes version 6.0.1.3. I was just wondering if prior to getting the Shuffle if there are any steps that I should follow when installing it. I understand that there are some issues with muliple iPods so I'm just getting as much info as I can.

But what the article doesn't tell me is if I should still input the CD that comes with the Shuffle..or if I should just try plugging it in directly when I get it. I'm assuming that I still input the CD and run the Shuffle installation and then when it gets to the iTunes installation I just quit (since I already have iTunes on my computer)?? Is that right?
Are there any detailed steps out there that can provide me with a step-by-step guide of installing two iPods (1 Mini, 1 Shuffle) on the same computer? Thanks in advance!

So you can't manually drop songs into the Shuffle from iTunes (like you can with the Mini)? Are you saying that the preferences have to be set to automatic to get music onto it?
You can move songs to and from the iPod shuffle playlist in iTunes so that only the ones you want on the shuffle appear in that playlist.
Do I not need to format the Shuffle to work with my PC?
The iPod shuffle comes in FAT32 format, and only works as a music player when it is in this format. The iPod nano comes in FAT32 format, but converts itself to HFS+ if the first machine it is plugged into is a Mac.
So, even if I have the 1.4.1 update and 6.0 of iTunes (which I believe are the latest) I can just plug it in without running the install/format from the CD?
