Ichat 2.1 - can't repsond messeage

Question

My Friend and I have been trying to video eachother with iChat. we can text message but when we try the video I get this message
2006-02-17 19:54:11 -0500: laurie elmerson did not respond.
Tried to send UDP SIP "invite" to the following IP addresses and ports:
10.0.0.1:5060
I have listed these ports in my firewall section
5060, 5190, 5297, 5298, 5353, 5678, 16384-16403
what esle can we do

Hi Kenarti,
Can you tell us more about the set up at both ends ?
Modems ?
Routers ?
Do they have the ports open ?
10.0.0.1 is a Private LAN address. It suggets two things:
1) This might be Dial-up
2) The ports are not open in a modem somewhere
Normally the error message would contain the public IP and then port something like 81.86.152.160:5060 and then the LAN (private IP 192.168.1.2 and port 5060)
The lack of a Public port is why I suggest Dial-Up.
However some modems are SIP aware and they produce this error.
DO to have a Thomson Alcatel 500 series modem or a Draytech ?
Does the other person ?
