IChat 4 is unstable and insecure.

I have been having nothing but trouble with iChat 4. Especially with the AIM accounts. There are security flaws everywhere. When I deleted the program and related files completely, it still didn't work. I realize this is a new version with many new features, especially the aim components, but this is not the quality of work that has set apple a step above the rest. Come on Apple, there's too many bugs in this program.

I tried everything.
I deleted the iChat and aim software and known related files from my drive. That didn't work.
I formatted my drive completely, then installed 10.5. Then I updated it to 10.5.1. I reinstalled all my software from scratch! That didn't work.
The program, iChat 4, has had various problems on my system. It starts out to be stable, but quickly goes awry. There have been occasions where I've been warned that "someone else is loogged in with this account."
During times I've been in an aol chatroom, I've lost the sidebar of participating users simply by switching to a private chat. {I have my chats gathered into one window}.
Sometimes, when an aol chatroom is full, and the server states that, it states the same thing after that for ANY chatroom I try to enter. Yet, with aim 4.7, i am able to enter all of the rooms.
There was a group of hackers on aim that began banning enormous numbers of users, and even when I used an alternative screen name, the ban continued to apply.
I've also discovered a number of unexpected ACL's during a permissions fix.
When i refornatted, and installed everything anew, it worked for a while, but became corrupt very quickly.
I noticed that screen sharing is on by default. That may be a problem.
When it was working, and I left a particular chat room, and tried to re-enter the room, the window would not open, but i could hear the message recieved sounds for the room. I had to quit iChat 4 altogether to get the chat room window to open.
Another thing i noticed is that when I did delete the iChat program, and its related files with appzapper, and reinstalled the program, my screen name and password appeared automatically. So something wasn't being cleared out properly. I also did that manually, just in case appzapper is defective with leopard. None of my efforts were successful.
My Time Machine drive activates every time I run iChat 4, and begins cranking for about two minutes.
I can go on and on about the details of trouble I've been having, but whatever I try seems to be useless.
One would think that a complete re format and fresh install would do the trick, but it doesn't work for very long. I suspect that maybe information remains on the .Mac servers when iChat runs.
