IChaT ALERT: could not connect...
I keep getting this error message when I try logging on to ichat:
Could not connect to AIM
The connection to the host was unexpectedly lost.
I have checked all of my proxy settings in firewall and have even tried my aim and .mac account. My bonjour chat seems to be working fine and other than this my internet connection is strong.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Anyone know a quick fix?

i can't connect to itunes store the alert error says "itunes could not connect to the itunes store. An unknown error occurred (0x80092013)"
Hi all,
I have the same problem with my Windows 8.1 laptop and my guess is that since I changed my Internet Provider who now delivers IPv6 addresses the problem occurs. A frieend who has a different provider does not have the problem in his home, but when he tries using iTunes at my home with my network he gets the same problem.
I have already solved a previous problem with Outlook 2003 not being able to receive emails from my wifes GMail account although everything else worked fine. The solution here was to enter the IPv4 address of Google POP-Server in the hosts file, overriding the IPv6 address.
Maybe something similar helps with this iTunes error.
If someone knows the hostname of the iTunes Store server, it could be pinged and the IPv4 address could be determined and then entered in the HOSTS file.
I'll continue trying in this direction and will post a solution if I find one.

Ikeep getting this error when I attach the new phone. After it would not work I did a Icloud back up of my old phone and restored it on the new phone, but I have other music and apps on my Itunes that I would like the option to sync and I like to be able to backup my phone on my Mac. What do I need to do to get the new phone attached back to this itunes?

I've had my iPhone 5 for just over a year now, and I haven't really had any problems since iOS7 was installed. I had a PC, with no connectivity problems between any of my Apple devices. Then FINALLY, I purchased my very first Macbook Air 13". I set it all up, updated all the apps, and made sure it was good to go. My iPhone was really low on battery one day, and I just happened to have my USB for it handy and thought I would just plug it into my computer to charge it. I figured I worry about syncing it later as I hadn't really had time to set it all up with iTunes on the new computer.
MY PHONE WENT CRAZY. It just started vibrating all over the table. Looking at the battery icon, it was flipping between charging and not charging, and occasionally the "do you trust this device" window would pop up on the screen, but it was still going crazy. iTunes opened up and these alerts saying "iTunes could not connect to this iPhone. Could not connect to the device." and "iTunes could not connect to this iPhone. This device is no longer connected." All it was doing at this point was using up even more battery. But then the iPhoto app opened by itself on my shiny new Macbook and the vibrating stopped. It was charging and syncing! But not having iPhotos before on a computer weirded me out i hadn't decided exactly what I wanted to do with it, I closed the app. The phone went nuts again. ***. On a different day, I was trying to sync it again, and it worked. But only long enough to back it up on the macbook. W.T.F.
Plugging into any PC is no problem at all. The phone just connects and starts charging.
I've tried just about everything. All of my software is up to date, both on the mac and iphone. The USB cord is fine. I've reset the macbook with it plugged in and not plugged in. I have uninstalled, and reinstalled iTunes with the phone plugged in and not plugged in. I've reset all the contents and settings on my iPhone, as well as did a hard reset with it plugged in and not plugged in. My iPad has no problem connecting and it also has iOS7. It's just so weird though, that it starts connecting/disconnecting interchangeably as soon as I plug it into the computer, even when all my apps are closed. All this is leading me to believe that it must be some sort of issue between the devices' communication to each other. But I'm not sure if it's an iPhone, MacBook, or iTunes issue!
HHHHEEEEELLLLLLPPPPP!!!!!I had this same problem with my new MBP 15", but only with the USB port on the left side. The USB port on the right side worked fine. Perhaps the ports on the left don't have enough signal energy for the iPhone.
Anyway, try using a different USB port, and if that doesn't work, perhaps you could try a powered USB hub. -
I get the error message "Itunes could not connect to the itunes store. An unknown error occurred (-3212) I have deleted all apple/itunes files and reinstalled the new version of itunes. Still get the same message.

"Error 3000" through "3999"
Alerts with codes in the 3000 range generally mean that iTunes cannot contact the gs.apple.com server on ports 80 or 443. This may be because out-of-date or incorrectly configured security or firewall software is interfering, or due to your Internet proxy settings. If you are using a proxy, try removing the proxy settings, or using a known-good network. If that does not resolve the issue, follow iTunes for Windows: Troubleshooting security software issues.

EAS server error: Could not connect to administration Server
Hi,
I have installed Hyperion suite in Windows server 2008 R2. It was working fine but now when i tried to login in to the EAS console, I am getting the following error:
"Server Error: Could not connect to administration server".
I tried accessing the same through the web URL and I found "404 error - file or directory not found".
I verified all my services are up and running fine. I am able to connect to the essbase sever through Excel as well as planning.

Sorry for replying late.
I ran the EPM diagnostic and found EAS & APS application are failed. So as you mentioned, i tried re-deployment through EPM configurator.
But Re-configuration fails with error "An unexpected error occurred and the application will have to shut down" .

After 2.0 Update "iTunes could not connect iPod error (0xE8000001)?
I've downloaded the 2.0 update for my iTouch... after the installer had finished its work it alerted me that the iTouch was rebooting and would appear in iTunes. However, I got this error message instead:
"iTunes could not connect iPod unknown error occured (0xE8000001)". I'm not sure if I should disconnect the USB or not.. or what is going on. Any suggestions?

i think the 'DFU' in these instructions means device firmware upgrade...found this on another forum where people complaining of same problem...
1. Hold both the home and power buttons until the device turns off
2. EXACTLY one second after the iPod turns off, release the sleep/wake button, holding the home button still ( the apple logo SHOULD NOT BE ON ).
3. In about 20 seconds, you will see your iPod appear in iTunes, but the screen on your iPod will still be off. You are now in DFU mode.
4. RELEASE the home button as soon as your iPod appears iTunes. If you fail to do so, your iPod will simply go back into recovery mode.

PHP Soap error Could Not connect to host
Hi all, this is my first time on this forum so I hope I am not doing anything stupid.
I have a wsdl file in my local server, when I try to access the code I get error could not connect to the host each time. I thought this was my programming mistake until I tested it on my ubuntu and windows server, It seems to be working fine on them. Is there something that I should enable some module or port ( I already have my soap extension loaded in php). Please help me out with this.

At one time Google(Talk) only offered the service to Google Mail accounts with either @gmail.com or @googlemail.com endings.
Nowadays they also offer Google IDs that can then be made to work as GoogleTalk IDs.
These are the iChat 3 instructions http://www.google.com/support/talk/bin/answer.py?answer=24076 with pics.
In iChat 3 there was no GoogleTalk option and was added as Jabber ID and then you had to change the Server name (it presumed that it was either gmail.com as Defcom shows or googlemail.com) by taking the end of your Google Mail ID and puling it though to the Server Name box.
In iChat 4 and 5 there is a Google ID option and this will set the Server as talk.google.com as you list.
Google allows Port 443 to be used and the gmail.com as server name
My Current Settings
NOTES.
Based on the Google Instructions your Name in iChat must match the ID you see when you login in to the Google Mail page (Or web site).
The Mail App seems to cope with either and grab your mail for download but iChat prefers that you use the one as Listed.
Also on your Google Account have you enabled TALK ?
You need to do this first.

Hi Genius,
I have installed and configured Hyperion (11.1.2.1) Essbase & Planning successfully on windows server 2008 64 bit. For that I installed Oracle 10g Standard Edition as supported RDBMS. Due to RAM consumption I planned to install the Oracle Express Edition instead of Standard Edition. For that I export the tablespace which contains metadata of Hyperion products from existing database(SE) to current database(XE). After that I reconfigured all the Hyperion Products.
Once re-configuration completed, I tried to log-in to the Administration Server via EAS Console by providing server name as localhost and username as Admin. Then EAS console throwing error as "Could not connect to Administration server".
To solve this issue I tried following steps,
1> Remove the Cwallet.sso and create a new Cwallet.sso by using orapki bat file.
2> Backup the original ESSBASE.SEC file and rename the ESSBASE.BAK file to ESSBASE.SEC then I started the Essbase Administration service.
3> I re-installed and re-configured the EAS console.
After following these steps I am not able to overcome this issue.
For your kind information,
1> I can able to login to the Essbase through ESSCMD.
2> I can able to view the list of essbase applications through Smart View.
Kindly guide me how to overcome this issue.

Thanks for your response. I observed the EAS logs clearly and came to know that there were no errors in Hypeas-syserr.log.
