Ichat connection problems using AIM....need HELP!! PLEASE!! :)
Hello to all. I am experiencing problems connecting a video chat with a friend of mine. We both have AIM and have the most updated software, but it still won't work. We can see that each other are online, but when we try to connect, we get error msgs and it cancels the chat.
Please help, I am not sure what is going wrong....

Do either of you have a local firewall enabled that might be blocking a port?

cable modem/ airport express /
im connected to the internet trough an airport extreme to the airort express.
on the other side
pc XP home using AIM
ok i can see the AIM user on my buddy list i can see that their camera is on,we can text chat, but when we try to connect (video Chat) i get different messages, like, they never responded, declined , etc. can someone tells me if i need to forward some ports on the airport express if so how can i do that, or probably they need to have an specific version of AIM, pleaseeee can someone help me, i make this person change to macintosh from pc and now she can get in touch with her family!!!!!!that just sounds like the pc user has a crappy cam.. i used to have a regular vga cam, but then i just went out and bought the equivalent to the isight for pc's.... i chat w/ my gf all the time.. she has ichat and i use aim 5.9.. i do have had the same connection issue .. the one about the mac inviting the pc versus the pc inviting the mac.. i don't know what's up with that but i do know that the video quality is due to either using anything lower than cable... or the pc has a crappy cam....

Connection Problem with Interbase6. HELP PLEASE

i am having a problem to connect with Interbase6. I am enclosing code & errors. it manage to get the driver but does not connect. I have found that this exception means that jdk is not consistant or their is security problem. But i have tried this code with jdk1.3 and jdk1.22 but having same error. I am not using JBuilder or any other Borland's product. If it is not possible to connect then how to use ODBC to connect to the Interbase.

There was a bug int the InterclientClient.jar File I have downloaded file from the following site.

copy this new Interclient.jar file into the directory depends upone the individuals path.

Serious and Sudden Problem with Z10 NEED HELP PLEASE
I have a z10, one of the first that came out in Toronto (if it makes a
difference), a couple of hours ago I came across a serious and sudden
problem.
I was able to swipe left and right between pages of apps, even drop down
from the top, but I cannot open anything, not even make a call or settings
options.
Any time I try to, for a split second it looks like its about to load
something then nothing. (image slides to the right quickly and goes back on
every attempt)
So I first did a reset, same problem, then I did a battery pull (about 15 minutes) and problem presisted.
I tried through USB to do a backup on blackberry manager and perhaps do a
re-install of everything, however when I was prompted for the password of
my device on my PC it kept telling me it was an incorrect password (I use
this blackberry on my computer 4-7 days a week, twice a day sometimes for a
year and I have never miss typed my password nor have i changed it)
After trying everything to make sure the first letter maybe was upper/lower
case, even my other possible phone password, nothing worked..
On the 5th failed attempt my phone prompted me to type 'blackberry', which
i did, then i typed my password on my phone which i type in about 15 times
a day becuase I set my phone to a 5 minute lock and still said it was incorrect.... I am no on 9/10 attempts and lost
for options.
Please if anyone can give me any suggestions, or even how to backup my phone
and whipe it now, or I have an earlier backup form 4 months ago that I
wouldnt mind going back to in worst case scenario.

Go to Solution.Sorry, no I haven't experienced that. It could be from an app you downloaded but that's just a guess. Wiping the device will tell us a lot. If the device still doesn't work you'll want to reload the OS using BB Link. if it still doesn't work after that then warranty support will be necessary through Rogers.

Having problems with burning - need help please!
when I try and burn a disk itunes says no recording
software found. Everytime I start up itunes it says the drivers associated with burning are missing. It ask me to
reinstall the software which I do and I have the same

I'm assuming that you're not running 64-bit windows.
It sounds like the driver didn't get installed. You could try doing a repair install on iTunes --
Windows Start menu -> Settings -> Control Panels -> Add or Remove Programs
Select iTunes, Select Change/Remove button, Select "Repair" radio button, click OK.
If that doesn't work, you might try downloading just the CD drivers from :
http://www.gearsoftware.com/support/drivers.cfm

Router problems..I need HELP PLEASE
I'm in a bad spot... I just got my kids their own tablets but when they use their internet it's sucks all the Wi-Fi up... what do I do... we can't do online gaming or anything if they are online.... we have a Belkin N450 wireless N+ Router F9K1003CL we have never had an issue but now I do. Should I get a router just for their HKC tablets or one just for the xbox's. Or is there a powerful device to run all and then some... somebody please help me... I have Comcast super faster internet but the modem, box is several years old

Nintendo DSI don't see how getting a seperate router for either would help honestly but you can try. It all comes back to the same thing: the modem. If your sure its the tablets sucking all the power than what I would do is, when it starts lagging check what their doing on the tablets streaming movies can take a lot of juice. Although if you have superfast internet I don't think it would matter.

i just want to say that this phone has been through alot it has even fallen in the toilet but it still works. Also it has been dropped 25ft to the ground and still alive. Just to let everyone know

first, head into your Add/Remove programs and uninstall your QuickTime. if it goes, good. if it doesn't, we'll just attend to it when we attend to itunes.
next, download and install the revo uninstaller http://http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html. use it to clear any existing itunes and/or QuickTime installation configuration information from the PC.
next download itunes. it worked for me hope this is helpful!!
oonce you get into the revo uninstallergo thru to delete itunes hit uninstall on the itunes icon then you will go thru to it will tell u the same nmessage about the feature and network hit cancell then go thru and hit scan (make sure bthe advance scan button is pushed) this will take awhile but go thru the list and hit everything associated with itunes. hit delete then install itunes again. it worked for me hope it works for you! -

My iTunes stopped working after I did a couple of software updates that got my iTunes up to v. 11.4. Since that update, I can't get iTunes to open at all, neither from my dock nor from the Applications menu.
I'm wondering: Perhaps these latest iTunes updates are simply too advanced for my 10.6.8 operating system? If that's the case, how can I backtrack to an earlier version of iTunes that is compatible with my computer OS?
