IChat internal error: NS internal LN consistency exception

Hi there,
My wife is trying to set up iChat AV 2.1 on our home computer. (I am away from home just now). She has set up an AIM account.
When she opens iChat, she gets as far as the set up page where you are asked for your account details. When she enters her details- after selecting AIM as the account type, she gets this error message:
iChat internal error: NS internal LN consistency exception: Unknown property "gill" type "-1549840836"
And when she quits the application it says:
iChat internal error: invalid parameter not satisfying: aString!=nil
She is running OS 10.3.9 on a G4 Power Mac
Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks

Hi Ralph and Chris,
Just to let you know, I sorted the problem with iChat in the end. When I got home I realised the problem was worse than I thought. I couldn't open the address book, and couldn't even open various folders in the application support folder relating to the problem. In the end, I just reinstalled Panther, and it works fine now. Don't know what had gone wrong, but I now know that updating permissions is a good idea whenever installing new software, so I'll be doing that from now on.

Ok, I ran the Onyx maintenance program and now my iChat will not work. Actually numerous programs keep unexpectedly quitting, even safari. However, those crashes have started to diminish. What can I do to fix my iCHAT? Any help would be great.

I fixed it somehow. I think dumping the Kernel Cache fixed the iChat problem. My computer also doesn't crash anymore either.

JDev 1013 Error: Internal compilation error, terminated with a fatal except

I've a class I compiled used in JDev 10.1.2.1.
Now I try to compile it with JDev 10.1.3 but I get an error :

What does it means ?
How can I solve it ?
I tried to use both 5.0 and 1.4.2 compilers but the result is the same.

The problem seems to be in the very long privated final string I defined, making it shorther the problem is solved again .

After downloading the new Oracle JDeveloper 10g production, migrating all my projects, everytime I try to make/rebuild any file or package, I get the following error:
Internal compilation error, terminated with a fatal exception
This happens if use either JAVAC or OJC.

I think the error reporting is wrong, since dbMessages.java is a translated SQLJ file, and the specified method exists in the SQLJ file around that line number - and not in the java file resulting from the translation.
Note that line 2958, in the SQLJ file, was the simple MessageHeader.Iter messageHeaderIter; line.

I've tried the various suggested fixes from previous posts regarding this compiler error. The file that the build fails on will compile with javac without errors. Try switching your project compiler from ojc to the native one and see if there is a change in the results.

IChat Internal Error when trying to change own Buddy Icon

On my son's iBook G4 with OS 10.4.5 and iChat AV 3.1.1, he gets an error when trying to insert some JPG photos for his own Buddy Icon. It says:
iChat Internal error! NSInvalidargumentexception: * -[NSCFArray addObject:] attempt to insert nil
Also where are all your recent pictures stored??? Upon searching iChat Recent Pictures on my HD, it see they should be User>Library>Images>iChat Recent Pictures. However upon tyring to open that fiel, I get a message saying, "The alias 'ichat Recent Pictures' could not be opened, because the original item cannot be found." I can select delete alias, fix alias or ok. Might this also relate to my problem?

Hi Michael,
I pointed you to that thread as the error message you posted is normally associated with either a spellcheck problem or something odd with the Me Card in the Address Book.
You can drag pics to the Recent Buddies folder but iChat will not see them.
Create a New Folder and call it iChat Recent Pictures
The alias should be removed.
You should now find that iChat will let you select a choice as a new Buddy Pic.
This is done by clicking on the current Buddy pica nad selecting the "Edit Picture" option.
Then "Choose".
Navigate to the Pic and then resize as require.
Use the "Set" button.
This will convert the pic to a jpeg 2000 copy of the original and the Recents.plist which is needed within the folder.
You should now be good to go.

Is it possible to use iChat internationally between Mac's? If so are there certain settings or system configurations I need to change? Is it better to use Skype for international?

I have VIDEO chatted with people in Hawaii, New Zealand, Australia, India, Japan, Sweden, most European Countries and some in the Middle East.
Most issues are about Router or modem set up rather than distance.
Available Internet Speed does play a part in some cases.
Turkish end to Cyprus is difficult.
I have only had one contact in Poland where the speed was very slow.

I have a problem that when I read out an IMAP mailbox I sometimes get the above problem, and sometimes I don't get the problem.

This problem is occuring only on BPEL release 10.1.3.
I retested this again on BPEL 10.1.2, but there the problem did not occur.

BPM: Error while executing Open - Unexpected exception

We applied all the patches listed above, however the issue still exists.
Actually the issue started when we applied the patches initially and even after getting the latest patches the issue still exits same as mentioned above:
When we try to click open any of our Integration Processes / BPM s we get the unexpected error while executing open.
Please, do let us know if anyone has faced similar issue and how it could be resolved.

Error 500: Server caught Unhandled Exception

Hi,
Whenever I make some changes to JSP and if JSP has some errors within it, It always say Error 500: Server caught Unhandled Exception.
It's really difficult to debug JSP with this sort of message. Is there any easy way out ...? How do I know which line in JSP is having problem ...? How can know whether its syntax error or something else ...?
I would appreciate if someone put easy solution forward.

Start your servlet engine with a nojit option. It will tell you the line number.

Sender: 100 for EBP, logical system is CLNT100
Receiver: 200 for SUS, logical system is CLNT200
both the clients are connected through PI 7.0, logical system of PI is CLNT001.
From SPROXY of 100EBP, i'm executing the outbound proxy, in moni sent msg success.
In PI also msg is processed.
