IChat / Messages refuses correctly entered Yahoo password

Question

I have been using iChat (now Messages) to chat via my Yahoo! ID for as long as I can remember with no issues.
I changed my yahoo.com password yesterday and now I can't access Yahoo! chat via the Messages app.  Accessing Mail, Contacts, Calendars, etc. is not an issue ... but chat will not work.
Trying to log into Yahoo chat via Messages now just asks me for my password over and over even though I enter it correctly each time.

On and on it goes from there.  I've already tried the following:
-Using my user ID with and without @yahoo.com attached to the end.
-Accessing my keychain, completely deleting all yahoo associated items and re-entering the new password fresh
-Completely removing Yahoo! from my Mail, Contacts & Calendars area and re-installing it fresh
-Manually typing in the password (vs. copy & paste)
-Telling Messages to remember the password in the keychain or not
Anyone got any ideas?

Hi,
Despite all my years with iChat I can't say I have ever joined or created a Jabber Chatroom.
However it does look more like a Time Stamp issue than anything else.
iChat and Messages need to be linked to a global time source.
That is to say that both the Mac and the router needs to be set to the right time in the right Time Zone using the right daylight saving time if applicable.
For instance at this time of year the UK uses British Summer Time, a 1 hour advance on GMT.
This then creates a two hour time difference between Paris and London (Anywhere in the UK and anywhere in Western Europe in actual fact.)
Obviously there are places in the world where it is a lot easier to change between Time Zones or move north or south to have Daylight Saving times apply.
If settings appear to be correct and all computers are using the same Time Server, as well as the router I would then check if the WiFi was dropping out on some machines.
It may not be long and may be caused by interference but could possibly be enough to disrupt things.
I would also look at Processor heavy activities like Time Machine Back ups that can distort the amount of time an app takes to do something.
