ICICI iMobile app crashes after IOS5 update

The app has been crashing since the IOS5 update...any idea on how to make it work again?

    I had upgraded iPad 2 to iOS 5.after this many of the third party apps crashes suddenly. To name some of them include , accuweather, toi.
    I did deleted all the apps & freshly installed them after iOS5 upgrade. Is this bug in iOS5. Is there any fix?

    I have the same issue. This is what I've tried so far and nothing has worked:
    1. Downloaded a free app and installed it. I agreed to all of the App Store's new agreements.
    2. Rebooted the iPad 2.
    3. Logged-in to iTunes while connecting the iPad 2 to my PC.
    The only semi-solution is to reinstall all third party apps manually(delete first, then go to the App store and re-install each indivdual App).
    They should have found this big issue in beta.
    Also, I noticed text looks a bit blurred on my iPad 2 now. When i type 2 lowercase "l"s next to each other, they appear as 2 "l"s.

    Firstly congratulations on the overwhelming response to Apple 6 and big Apple 6 , now for the bad news after I upgraded my os to ios8 I'm having issues with most of th apps like you tube, flipkart, what's app facebook etc while most of the time there seems a lag for sometime than the app opens most of the time while browsing the apps crash and I have to restart again from the menu, also the swipe takes some time to move and is not as swift as it used to be some problem looks in there on the menu kindly help I thought it was due to shortage of memory I deleted all my pictures before the update  and have a lot of memory this is happening after the update

    Try resetting your device. Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot. You can also try force closing the apps. Double tap the home button. Then flick the previews upand off the screen to close the apps, then single tap the home button to exit the mode.
    Some apps do seem to have been broken by iOS8, and you'll just have to wait for the developers to fix them. Facebook for example I've seen several people talking about it not working as well. If iOS8 has broken the app all you can do is wait for the developer to fix it.
    There are two kinds of memory. THe RAM, which is what helps you to multitask, and then the storage memory. You deleting photos just removes the storage memory, it doesn't help with the RAM. And it's possible that the lack of RAM is what's causing slowness and crashing. iOS8 does place more demands on the device than 7 did, so it will effect performance.

    Hi all,
    After upgrading to IOS5 my IPAD (1st generation) became really instable. Nearly all the applications suddenly crashes after some time, all the IPAD behavior seems really slow.
    It seems to be correlated to a lake of memory with IOS5. This can be seen with some applications like Atomic web browser: before IOS5 it was possible to open multiple tabs, with IOS5 the browser can't load the content of only 2 tabs!
    What's the issue with IOS5 and IPAD 1st gen?

    I haven't had these problems (I too have iPad 1), so I don't really understand why you are. If a restore as a new device isn't resolving them I'm not sure what else to suggest.
    I think this is most likely to be a misbehaving app, but I can't suggest which one.
    Apple has never supported downgrades to earlier iOS versions. If you Google, you will find many sites with details of how to do it, but we cannot discuss it here.

  • App crashes after Security Update 2013-002

    I have installed Security Update 2013-002 on Mac OS X 10.6.8 and now certain apps like Safari, Software Update, Mail, Adobe Reader crash with a segmentation fault. Other apps like Photoshop, Google Chrome work fine.
    I found a thread on here of someone who was having a similar problem with Chrome crashing and he fixed it by repairing Disk Permissions but thats not made any difference to me.
    Any ideas?

    Test in Safe Boot to see if the crashes happen there. MIght also try testing from a different account.
    Shift key at the startup chime and expect a much longer time to boot up. No Wi-Fi in Safe Boot, so if that's how you connect you won't be able to go anywhere. But you will be able to see if Safari, or Software Update, for example, are still crashing on open.

  • Mail.app crashed after installing update for OSX 10.8.5.

    When I open it it starts to import the mailboxes but crashes after about 10 minutes when about a quarter of the messages have been imported.
    Please advise me how to restore Mail.

    Do a backup.
    Quit Mail.
    In Finder, hold down the option/alt key while selecting Go from the Finder menu bar. Select Library. or select Go to Folder and paste in ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail. Select Containers/com.apple.mail. Move the folder com.apple.mail to your desktop. You must move the entire folder, not just the contents.
    Re-launch Mail and test. If the problem is solved, recreate any required Mail settings and import any emails you want to save from the folder on the desktop. You can then put the folder in the Trash. If the problem remains, return the folder to where you got it replacing the one that is there.

    You can make your user library permently visible with the following Terminal Command.
    chflags nohidden ~/Library/

  • IMobile App crashes after upgrading iOS5

    iMobile is the app for icici on-line Banking available in the App store. This app is really a very good and was working fine up to  iOS4. After upgrading iOS5 this app is no more working. when I launch this app, while entering the " Login Pin " it is getting crash every time.

  • Photos and camera crash after ios5 update

    After updating to ios5, I can no longer access my camera roll, not take a picture.  When I hit camera roll photos crashes.  When I take a picture it says saving, then crashes.  I have tried turning off the apps and reopening them. I have tried restarting/resetting.  I have tried turning it off and letting it sit for 3 days. I tried accessing my camera roll through other apps like facebook, twitter, photoshop but it crashes. I tried to access my camera roll from iphoto and import my pictures but my iphone no longer comes up in iphoto.  I feel as though that restoring it may be the only option left, but I do not want to lose my photos and there's still no guarantee that photos and camera will work after restoring.  Anyone else ever hear of this before? Help!

  • Iphone 3GS calls keep crashing after ios5 update

    As title really! After updating to ios5 last weekend my iphone 3gs keeps cutting out mid call and going to the black screen with the silver apple logo. It then restarts ok. Not got issues with any apps, just the calls. Is there any cure? Thanks.

  • App crashing after lollipop update

    I have noticed that after my handset got updated to lollipop certain app will crash for no particular reason.  For instance I may be reading an article usually in Chrome and it just kick me out to my home screen.  This is very frustrating when I am   supposed to be using one of the best device on the market.  Battery drain is also a big problem, but I will leave it at what others have posted. 
    Is Verizon and Samsung working on some kind of fix for these bugs?  And how long will we have to live with them? What kind of service are we paying all this money for? Really irate. ..

    These issues would also have me just as frustrated, jont1560. Let's make sure your phone is working optimally. How long ago did you perform the OS update? Have you also tried clearing the cache partition? This can help. Please follow these steps:

    Also, some apps may not be fully updated to work with the new OS, and can be causing some of these issues too. Please keep us posted with the results.

  • Most native apps crashing after software update

    I did a software update, then tried using iWeb for the first time... I go to publish and crash, I go to open inspector, crash. Now after installing latest quicktime update, mail won't stay running, pretty much everything is falling down around me in terms of apps... I REALLY wanted to have a new website up for my sister's bday and now???? Today is it.... sob .....
    I think I saw something regarding this issue in a Version Tracker e-mail giving latest news, only it is in my e-mail and I can't access it!

    Try repairing permissions.
    Also, download the maintenance utility OnyX. I would do cleaining & maintenance to see what is wrong.
    OnyX does wonders.

    Hey. I solved the problem by erasing everything in my iPhone and setting it as new. However if you don't want to lose everything try erasing all content and settings on the settings. Then restoring it from a backup

    You need to restore your iPad from your most recent backup in iTunes to get back your settings and app data. If you can't find a backup, your data may be lost. If you'll tell us what OS your computer is running, we can tell you where to look for the backup files.
    Your music, videos, apps and books from the iTunes Store should be in iTunes and can be synched back, but if not for some reason, you can download them again:

    Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
    Reset  ( No Data will be Lost )
    Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
    Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
    Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
    Release the Buttons..
    If no joy... Try a Restore... First from Backup... Then as New if necessary.
    Make sure you have the Latest Version of iTunes (v11.1.5) Installed on your computer

    If the issue persists... Then a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is the Next Step... Be sure to make an appointment first...
