ICloud Account ID is incorrect

the account id displayed on my iPhone 4s for my icloud account is incorrect how do i change it. It's correct for iTunes and the app store

My app store and itune store had the correct ID and my icloud account had a different and incorrect id. I followed the instructions on a previous post and scrolled all the way down on the iCloud screen and deleted the account while saving the data on my phone. I then rejoined the iCloud using the correct id.

User name in iCloud Account Details is incorrect.

I migrated to OS5 this weekend. After installing iCloud, I went into System Preferences/iCloud. I noted that under Account Details, the user name is someone from my contact list. When I change the name and exit and re-enter, the name appears again. Email/Calendar and contacts are all syncing fine, but this is annoying. Any help would be much appreciated.

Note you can use the same Apple ID in
Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID: > here to share purchased music, apps and books.
Other than that each of you should use your own Apple ID for iMessage, FaceTime, iCloud, Game Center, etc.

If you change your email, you do not need to "change" your AppleID. Just edit your email(s) on your Apple ID by logging in to your AppleID account. You should always use the same AppleID for Apple Services (iCloud, iTunes etc) and multiple ID will cause problems and confusion in the future.

Not sure when mobile me changed, but it was this weekend that my storage etc. lapsed (I have paid to keep storage with icloud). So i assume this has something to with it stopping.

I can edit the password in iCloud account information but user name is grayed out and can't be changed to my new apple ID. Haven't been be able to fix this by going into my Apple ID account or synching the iPhone.

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.

In preferences iclod icon shows incorrect primary account. When I select my mail a statement shows this is not your primary icloud account.
I am the primary account holder, I must have done something incorrect whe migrating to icloud.

Go at https://appleid.apple.com and login to verify your account settings. It is possible that your AppleID is different than your iCloud email adress and you can verify this on the AppleID webpage.

If it's the iCloud email address that is incorrect, you cannot change it. If it's a non iCloud address, you can change it at My Apple ID

Accessing the itunes store and joining this forum are different accounts than an icloud account, so it's not necessarily true that your ID for icloud is the same as for itunes.
