ICloud account verification helpThan
When I try to set up my iCloud account it says I need to verify my account, but I never get an email to actually verify my account. Why?
Make sure you are checking the email address you used to set up your iCloud account and that the account can receive email. Also make sure you check the spam/junk folder as well as the inbox. If it isn't there, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under your Primary Email Address to resend the verification email. Icloud account verification email never comes!
I have an iphone 4S. I've just recently tried to set up my iCloud account. It WILL NOT send the verification email so that I can verify my account. I've checked, this is the only account my email address is the primary for. I've reset password and I received two emails from Apple within seconds. I've joined the support community and that email popped right up. I am on the most current operating system. I've read the rest of the articles found around the web. What the heck is going on!!
Have you tried all of these recommendations for troubleshooting?

I am having a problem setting up iCloud for my pc, ipad (1st generation), ipad mini and iphone 4s. I try to activate iCloud in the settings but my account can not be verified. It then tells me to check my email for proper setup. I never receive an email. Has anyone else had this problem? My apple id was setup in 2004 with my ipod video.
Thanks
JohnHi pilonjjc,
For information on verifying your primary email address, see this article:
Associating and verifying email addresses with your Apple ID
http://support.apple.com/kb/HE68
How to verify the primary email address for your Apple ID
When you first create an Apple ID (using your email address) a verification email will be sent to that address. If you sign in to your Apple ID from the link in that email, the email address will be verified as the primary email address for your Apple ID. You can also resend the email verification if the email address is not verified:
1. Sign in to My Apple ID to manage your account information.
2. Click Resend under Primary Email Address.
3. Verify your changes by following the link in the email you will receive from Apple and signing back in to your account.
Cheers!

ICloud account verification issues
Under Manage My Account, message says I need to Verify Account. This does not work but rather takes me to the Verification screen that is greyed out and not responsive. Any ideas?
Jan...
Try it this way instead ... Try verifying by signing in at My Apple ID. You should receive an email prompting you to verify.
If that doesn't help, try resetting your Apple iD password > Apple - My Apple ID -
ICloud & account verification problem

Maybe the email address you submitted is wrong. -
I recently changed my old iTunes User id from an old, defunct, and inaccessible email address to a new and active one. To do this I went to iTunes 'Manage your Account'. At the same time, I changed my password, and this has been working fine.
However, I now need to change my iCloud account, so I read up on it and saw that I needed to delete my old iCloud account and set up a new one with the new iTunes user id. When I tried to delete the iCloud account, it sent a verification email to the old, defunct email address, and will not allow me to go any further until I confirm the verification.
The problem is of course that I can't access the old email address to confirm the verification that iCloud has sent to it.
Solutions already tried:
Go into iTunes and 'Manage my account' - this doesn't work as there is no option to manage the iCloud account here, only the iTunes account
Reset the iTunes account to the old email address - this doesn't work, as it still sends a verification to the old email address, and I can't access it to confirm
Contacting Apple by email - tried this but they didn't seem to have a clue what I was talking about!
Does anyone out there have any bright ideas? All welcome!https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/
Use "Manage your Account" to change the primary email address. -
The apple id I used to set up my ipad no longer exists and it is the same id for icloud and itunes. I have changed my apple id but can not access my icloud account to change the id. I am hung up on "verifying" and have tried everything. It does not send any emails verification even though it says it has sent it. I have trie the security questions and it says wrong birthdate but it is not the wrong birthdate. I can not delete the account without a password and when I enter the password that was originally with that id it says wrong password. As a result I am not able to update twitter, facebook, etc and basically unable to do anything until I can delete and reestablish this icloud account.
If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

How do i verify my icloud account when the verification email is no longer active anymore?
so before on my email i had used for my itunes and icloud account i had been recieving too much spam mail so i completely deleted the gmail account and made a new one. i am trying to change the itunes and icloud account to the new email but i cant because it keeps saying "please verify your icloud account by checking the email apple sent to you" but the problem is that that email is disabled therefor, no verification...
i tried just deleting the whole icloud account but it then deleted my notes and other things along with it and i have to keep restoring my old back up in order to have all my information again.
How can i fix this so i can keep all my notes and just change the account?Did you create an entirely new ID or did you just change the Gmail address to a new email address on your existing ID?

I set up an icloud account using my itunes ID as my icloud user name, and now I have a major problem. My itunes id is six years old, and it's an email address that I just found out is no longer valid (an old netscape address). If someone tries to send an email to this old netscape address, the delivery fails. So when Apple tries to send my icloud verification message to this old netscape address, I never get the verificaton message, and thus i can't sign on to icloud. Can anyone help?

I have an Apple 2 with IOS 6.
Because I have this I have Apple icloud. I have an Apple ID, I have an Apple password. They work. But I can't verify my Apple icloud account because the software has not sent me a verification email! I only have one email account and one Apple ID. There is NOT (contrary to Apple trouble shooting pages) any way to get this email sent again!
So I can't get the icloud verified.
It seems incredible that I can get no help from the manufacturer or retailer here and instead have to resort to asking members of the same neglected bunch of Apple 'customers' for help but if any of you can I'd appreciate it. In the meantime, note to self 'NEVER buy Apple again. They treat their customers with disdane.i just went thru this hassle in the past hour..luckily that's all it took me to get it set eventually. i read some of the comments here to get ideas (i even considered creating a new account, as "comcast" had suggested). honestly, i'm not even sure what i did exactly to make it work. i logged in to my itunes account and i was notified that i had to re-confirm my apple ID. it was then showing in the "email" field and i had to re-typed it in the "apple ID" field. then i put this info in my iphone (setting -> emails), i clicked again "resend verification" and this time it showed "verification was sent to '[email protected]'" (on my previous attempts, it showed "verification was sent to [.]" or something. not sure if u came accross it). so it's thru itunes. try to sign out and in, then go to your account setting there and make sure the email/apple ID are updated. by the way, i never really got the actual verification email. as soon as it showed the message - the app was automatically enabled on my iphone.
hope this helps!

We had to change our email address and I cannot have access to the old one. I have changed accounts but iCloud sends verification instructions to the old address. I deleted the old but it won't let me access a new account without he verification and they keep sending it to my old email address.
Also-I tried to use my backup hard drive, but I wasn't able to drag/transfer/send/move any of my muic files onto my iTouch when the iTouch was connected to my computer. I can't figure out why it won't let me do that.
The only thing I can see when I open my iTouch on my computer is my file with photos. I can't see videos, music, or anything else. What's going on? -

i cant't verify my icloud account, never received verification email, i did requested it from system preference menu
Welcome to the Apple Community.
Put in a request for another verification e-mail to be sent to you.
Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
Also check your Mail rules and filtering, the verification mail may be going to a junk folder or even being deleted altogether. You may also wish to contact your mail provider to see if their spam filters are removing the email before it gets to you.
