Icloud account wrong after a bad restore.

I inadvertently restored a from a backup of an I4 that my company provided for me a couple years ago. Most everything seemed ok on my I4S until I noticed that my Icloud restored the company email that naturally no longer exists. I do not remember the company apple id password I used for the I4 or the I5 that subsequently replaced the I4 in summer of 2013.
So I need my current appleid to replace the company email that was used as my id on my old I4. id.
I actually still have the old I4 and use it as an ipod/alarm clock. Unfortunatly I did not have a good backup on my pc of my I4s. Unless it is on my icloud that I setup initially on my 4S.

So are you indicating that your iCloud account is signed onto a different Apple ID? If so, then was that "company email" your old Apple ID, and you changed it to what you have now? Or was it a separate Apple ID that you no longer use? There are two different solutions depending on your answer.

After restoring your iPhone with iTunes, you can transfer the photos and/or videos back to your iPhone via the iTunes sync/transfer process. This is selected under the photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.
Or you can create a backup for your iPhone with iTunes on your computer and when restoring your iPhone with iTunes, you can restore from the iPhones backup. Photos/videos in the iPhone's camera roll are included with the iPhone's backup. Although included with your iPhone's backup, I would still import the photos/videos from your iPhone's camera roll first.

IPad is now severely messed up after connecting iPod to its iCloud account, and after switching to that same Apple ID for iMessage/FaceTime

So, it all started with iMessage. FaceTime had similar log in symptoms as well, but I don't really use FaceTime. The best way I can describe it is with this... Paragraph I sent to my friend, describing my dilemma.
iMessage and everything was PERFECT for about a day, then it stopped working suddenly on my iPad. Then it wouldn't work on both. Then I could sign in on my iPod but not my iPad. Then finally I could log in to both. But it deleted the old send and receive email I was using, so everyone I texted would see an email rather than my name. It WOULD NOT let me add the email again, it would refuse to send a verification email to allow it to work, and would finally just say "error". Now it suddenly stopped working on my iPad and it hasn't worked at all for almost 2 days now. Oh and I only receive notifications for VZ Messages on my iPod, not my iPad. All the settings are perfectly in order on my iPad as well, so I have no clue what to do.
Instagram notifications also have appeared to behave as the VZ Messages notifications have. Any ideas? These are all of my top-used apps, and all of their noticatioms are left broken on my iPad after I added my iPod to my iCloud account, and started using my own Apple ID for iMessage and FaceTime.

Need to change icloud account - wrong acct on iPhone 4S

On my new iPhone 4S, my APPLE account id & password were used to setup my iCloud account (thank you Sprint Store!). All of my information was in my MobileMe account which is now the ID & Password that must be on the iPhone to access that information. I see no way to change the iCloud ID & Password on the iPhone. HELP!

Check your contacts on icloud.com. If your contacts are gone from icloud.com all you can do is restore them from a backup, if you have one.
If you backed up either of the other devices to iCloud while the contacts were still on them, you may be able to recover them by restoring that device to its last backup. Follow the steps in this user tip to do this: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4841.

ICloud account disabled after not connected to wifi for 3-4hrs iOS 7.0.2

This has happened in the last 2-3days that I have noticed, everything is ok after i get to work and i've been there for a few hrs about 3-4. When I go take my break, my notes have litterly dissapeared, like all my notes from Dec 2011 till now have gone, i can't create an event from my notes, I go to Calender and my + sign has been disabled, I go to Settings, iCloud, and all the options for my account has been litterly been disabled, no one has touched it, not even accidental touch within my pocket, even with photo sharing, those 2 options to enable & disable, they were too disabled, even my backup iCloud has disbled, even my Find My iPhone has disabled.
Is there a Glitch withn iOs 7.0.2? There is no way that my pockect would have ever done this, not even to get passed my lock screen, there is nothing in my pocket except for regular cloths fuzz, so how is this possible? Anyone else havn this problem?
And I wouldn't touch my iPod during work hrs bc I work with SeaFood, I cut, pick up fresh fish, Shrimp, even cooked live lobster, and ice lobster legs, so how is this even possible?

Checked my icloud for the past few days since that day and it been fine until yesterday and today that my iOS 7.0.2 it playing with my settings besides the drop loging out of facebook, viggle, email, but i went to my icloud settings, and 'Find My iPhone' got turned off, i went back to the settings dashview and back into iCloud and went back to on, but that was yesterday, hrs later of yesterday, it is still on.
Today, it is completely off but my restrictions is still set to keep that on and not let it change, guess what, it is off and i had to go to Resrtictions>Locations Services and the Find My iPhone said Off, the Status Bar Icon is still on. I go back and changed it to Allow Changes so I can switch it back On
but this time i wasnt at work and was at home, due to later posting this, had to go out with my brother and buy cat food, went to taco bell, then to work
Even thou this is'nt proof bc simply anyone can turn it off and reapply and me waisting this whole time but this really is happening to me, no one touches my iPod except me and im not turning it off either, just wish it stops.

Unread Mail Count wrong after Time Machine restore

I, and others on this forum seem to have an unsolved issue having restored from Time Machine backup, so presumably a glitch somewhere in the restore system.
We have followed the normal advice of rebuilding mailboxes, but it doesn't help.
Does anyone have an answer to how to reset the unread mail count to zero other than trash all the accounts and manually 'rebuild'

Hi,
I cannot take credit for this solution - I found the answer to this by searching through the Mail discussion forums. Another user had 3 emails that he had read, but they were still showing up in his Mail Badge Counter and this is how he fixed it.
The super-simple-solution:
Create a "Smart Mailbox" and set it to only contain all unread mail messages. This will grab all of the emails that Mail "thinks" are unread and is marking as such in the badge counter. Select all the emails, mark as read... and you're good to go.

IPhone stolen, can I keep it on iCloud account even after activating new phone?

So my phone was stolen a little while ago and they took my iphone along with a bunch of other stuff. What I'm wondering is if it's possible to keep the stolen iphone active on my iCloud list so I'm alerted if they turn it on, even after activating a new phone. I would just cut my losses but I want to get all my IDs and cards back if there's even a slim chance.
What happens if I activate a new phone using the same number and Apple ID? Will the old phone still be there, or will it disappear from the iCloud devices? I was thinking of setting it to "wipe" but I think just setting it to "Lost Mode" will give me a slim chance if they turn it on again. The phone does have a password and I bet they know they were being tracked so I'd be surprised if they turned it on, but you never know. the police case is still active, but I need a new phone ASAP so I can't just wait to see if anything happens with the old one.

No. The only way to retain them on the iPod after they have been deleted from the computer is to not sync. YOu also can;t add new one .

I am not sure of any privacy settings for photo share.
The only option would be to not use photo share, but instead to use iCloud photo share, that way you can choose to share or not.

How do I get my iPhone number to be the sender and receiver of the iMessages? It was until I created and logged in to my iCloud account, but after that it shows it as my email.

TS4605 Contacts, on another device linked to my iCloud account, were deleted and in turn deleted the contacts on my phone also. How can I recover these contacts?

I bought a new iPhone5c and downloaded my information to it from my iCloud account. After activating this phone, I gave my daughter my old iPhone4. I did not know that phone was still linked to my iCloud account so when she deleted the contacts on the iPhone4 and replaced them with her own, it did the same to my current iPhone5c. I need to know if/how I can get those contacts back.

Multiple iPhones on one iCloud account

My wife and I both have the iPhone 5s and we both use the same iCloud account. After we updated to iOS8 I noticed that she was getting all of my texts and that when she tried to call me her phone tried to call itself. I have checked all the settings and as far as I can tell her phone is set up correctly, it is set to use only her number for calls and messages.
Is there something I'm missing or is this something new with iOS 8. Should we have separate iCloud accounts?

Sure. You can access the same email account with an email client on different computers and with the iPhone's Mail app on different iPhones.

How can I delete linked devices from my icloud account?

Still seeing the other person's iCloud tabs does not necessarily indicate that they still have access to your iCloud account. iCloud tabs will remain for up to 7 days even if a device is no longer active on your iCloud account. After 7 days they should automatically be cleared.

You need to use the old ID and password to delete the iCloud account. After you delete the old account, you can sign in with the new ID in iCloud.

I have recently bought an iphone 4s, and created an icloud account. And when you create an icloud account, it is used for icloud emas as well right? So what happened is that, i forgot my password for icloud account, and after resetting it, password recovery email is sent to icloud email. But i cant access it because its the same account as my icloud email. I dont want to lose my account. Please help.

Too many iCloud account registered on my device?

I bought iPad 2, used one.
I was trying to set it up for my parents, living in abroad.
They're senior, not techie. I had to creat all the Apple account, email account for iCloud, so I can manage iPad and use facetime.
But when I set up iCloud with new Apple ID, it says "no more free iCloud account can be registered on this device".
I bought USED one. I just tried my ID for test, and new ID created for my parents, and it say no more.
How many ID can be registered on one device? and how can I delete previously registered ID, which I didn't register?
I can register Apple id for face time and apple store, but not iCloud.

Each device can create a maximum of 3 free iCloud accounts. After that all you can do is re-use one of the accounts previously created, or create a new account on another device if you have one. If you bought this used and the previous owner already created all 3 accounts, you can contact iCloud support and plead your case and see if they will grant you a new one.
You can use your Apple ID for FaceTime and the iTunes & App stores even if you can't use it to create a new iCloud account.
