Icloud activation? Help
Aye I got this 5c from a dads friends and the its icloud activation on it and i'm not sure how to get around it? I guess his sister bought it from some random dude and its locked I just wanted to know any ways to get around it if I can just reinstall the ios firmware would it do it or not? thank you
There’s no way for you to get around it; only Apple can bypass it, and they’ll only do so for the original owner(assuming they’re alive).

Yes the phone belongs to me. It was purchased from United Kingdom Vodafone to West Africa, i had to factory unlock to use any sim in it. so it belongs to me. I did the activation myself, now after updating my iphone to the latest update, it required a user id and password to activate the phone, but anytime i enter the details, it tells me the user Id is not correct but the password is correct..

and sory for bad english.You need the previous owner Apple ID and password to activated the iPhone. There is nothing you can do to bypass it.

My laptop was stolen lately with iCloud activated on it. I realize that i can remotely wipe it using find my phone but I really doubt that the thief will go online. So is there a way to stop that laptop from getting my iCloud updates at least?
Help.I have the same problem, my laptop was stolen with my girlfriend's icloud activated on. If the Laptop is switched on with access to the internet it will connect to icloud. How can I find out the IP's that are connected to my icloud. That lack of information who is connected to your icloud is not qool . Sorry for my english.

My Iphone 4S is blocked about 3 Months on the page of iCloud activation lock, I can't remember it, all I know is my apple ID but it isn't the same unfortunately ( IOS 7.0.4), I need a solution as soon as possible, thanks in advance for ur help !!
<Personal Information Edited by Host>Why can't the seller unlock it? Sounds like it may be a stolen iPad. As others have said do not buy it, it will be of no use to you while Activation Lock is in effect, and there is nothing apart from entering their Apple ID password that can bypass it.

Has your phone ever been hacked or jailbroken. This error message is what usually shows up for that. Are you using a supported carrier for the iPhone, or did someone hack the phone to unlock it to be used on another carrier. If that is the case, then there is no help you can get here as discussing hacked/jailbroken devices is not allowed.

Return it to the pawn shop and get your money back. The device is permanently locked and with the previous owner to unlock it you can never use it except as a paperweight.

You must put in the required information. If you do not have it, you must get it from the original owner of the phone. If you have forgotten your iCloud password, you can reset it at:

There is no such thing as an activation "bypass". Activation Lock is a security feature. It wouldn't be that secure is you could bypass it, wouldn't it? -

If you are the original owner of the phone and know the Apple ID and password that were used to activate it originally, and if you have an existing backup to restore from, you can force it into recovery mode (which will completely erase it) and restore it as explained here: If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. When you do you will encounter activation lock, and will have to provide the ID and password used to activate it originally in order to activate it again. If you can't, you won't be able to activate and use it.

Unfortunately, unless you know the Apple ID, there is absolutely nothing that can be done, you cannot use your mobile device. You may be able to find your Apple ID at Look up your old and forgotten Apple ID -

Unfortunately, you cannot do very much with your phone unless you get assistance from the previous owner, they should either provide you with the password to unlock it or remove their account from the phone entirely remotely through iCloud.com > Find My Phone. -

You can't bypass it. You will have to provide the ID and password that were used to originally activate the device. If you purchased it from someone else, you will have to get this from them, or have them erase the device and remove it from their account as explained in the article you were reading. No one else can help you with this and there is no way around it.

IPhone Clean ENS, but iCloud Activation Lock?

I am going to assume this was bought second hand? Not from verizon but from an individual or online purchase?
Someone has locked the device, it cannot be used. The previous owner locked it due to loss or theft. They did not report the device to their carrier so naturally the id is clean.

If this was a one on one sale get the previous owner to remove the activation lock, if they refuse get your money back.
I cannot caution people enough on these so called purchases.
