ICloud addin disabled and will not enable in outlook after v2.1.1. update

After the last icloud update the refresh icloud button disapearded from my outlook and it will no longer sync my contacts and claender items.
I checked the manage addins in outlook 2007 and the icloud addin was unticked (unloaded). however when I tick the icloud add-in and close and then go back to the manage addins window the icloud add-in remains unticked.
This is also an issue for several other other add-ins.
I have tried running outlook as Administrator and in compatibility mode to no avail.
any suggestions would be welcome.

Further to the post above:
I uninstalled and reinstalled icloud my contacts and calendar updated as part of the installation procedure but the outlook icloud addin problem noted above still remains so it will not sync unless I do another uninstall and reinstall.
If uninstalled icloud control panel form my PC will the contacts and claendar sync when I connect my iphone?

You are going to have to restore it. Scince itunes does not connect to ur ipod because its disabled you are gonna have to put your ipod in DFU mode. Basicaly u have to hold the power and home button atthe same time for 10 second then release power button and keep holding home button for about 15 seconds ( all this you do it while ipod is connected to the computer) if it works, itunes will detect ur ipod in recovery mode and will give you the option to restore it.

- Connect iPod to power for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has enough charge to allow iPod to turn on.
- If iPod does not turn on after ten minutes, try resetting the device while it is still connected to power. Reset the iPod by holding down the Sleep/Wake button and the Volume Down button for at least eight seconds or until you see the Apple logo appear.
- If the Apple logo appears on the display, connect iPod to a computer and verify that it appears in iTunes and can play music. If iPod appears in iTunes and can play music, no further troubleshooting is needed.
- If the screen remains dark and will not turn on, then your iPod may need service.

At this time, please do not disconnect the printer at the electrical outlet. If there is an empty electrical slot, plug in a lamp to make sure the outlet is working. 2. i cannot do a force reset... When i hold in the home and sleep/wake button nothing happens, I have tried these same steps over and over again. Neither the apple or the itunes logo ever pop up.. The screen just stays black. I recently replaced the digitizer after my son cracked the screen. I have made sure that nothing was injured during repair. I did put the digitizer ribbon in wrong and then the screen was not working correctly. I had put the ribbon in backwards. So after the first wrong installation of the digitizer, i tried to unlock the screen with my passcode but it obviously wasn't working.. i would touch the number for the passcode but the screen would respond somewhere else..so i kept getting the passcode wrong and then BAM! Ipad disabled.. so i took a break from the frustration... When i returned to my ipad i took it back apart and thats when i realized that i had the digitizer ribbon in backwards, so i fixed it and replaced the screen once again.. But now the ipad is disabled, and for some reason it will not respond when i try to shut it down all the way, no red slider at all...so i bout a apple data transfer cable and i tried to connect it to itunes and hold the buttons like i read to do in the article, and my computer recognizes that my ipad is there,,, it tells me that i have to allow access and to respond on my ipad.. but sadly i cannot.. nothing appears on the ipad.. it stays a black screen and then when i lt go the "ipad is disabled" screen comes on.....
Then i read online that i could restore from icloud.com, so i go there, i sign in just fine but my ipad is not listed in the devices there either... it says " No Devices, You must be signed into iOS8 settings or Mac OS Yosemite system preferences to see devices."
And i dont believe the ipad is up to date, it had been unused for about 2 months, until last week when i attempted to fix it so im sure the operating system is old :-(
So im totally lost, I dont have a clue what to do to get my device recognized. I would really appreciate any help that anyone can give,, Thank you so much in advance!!!

hi guys! I'm having a problem with my ipod touch 4g 8gb, i recently put in a new password and forgot it. I tired to figure it out many times but failed, so know the screen says ''Ipod is disabled connect to Itunes''. My computer or itunes (or whatever) will not recognize my ipod! the device charges but the itunes page doesnt pop up as it normally did, i cant sync or even restore anything. If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

I have redownloaded it, I have tried everything, I had an iPhone 4s and today(3-4-14) I got an iPhone 5s, they couldnt transfer my pictures so i shared them through iCloud. NOW I can not get iCloud to work. please help me get them back!!! i really would like some of them.

Did you sign into your iCloud account on your 5s and enable photo stream in Settings>iCloud>Photos? If so, you should be able to access them in your my photo stream album inside the Photos app on your phone. Restoring the backup of your 4s to your 5s would also transfer photos that were in the camera roll, along with text messages, app data, settings, purchased apps and other media, etc.
Getting photo stream to work on a PC can sometimes be problematic. There is a long discussion on this here with various solutions offered: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5356710?start=180&tstart=0. Perhaps you will find one that will work for you. In the meantime, if you can get them on your Phone, you can then save them to your camera roll and import them to your computer as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.
