ICloud and iTunes wiped clean after running update--backup wiped as well--NEED PICTURES BACK!!
My phone did NOT back up like it was supposed to and now all my pictures disappeared with the recent upgrade. Is there a way to dig in the hardware of an iPhone 4 to get pictures I have taken back that did NOT restore to icloud like it was supposed to? New mom just lost a month worth of photos of newborn baby. (sad face here)
The iPhone, like ANY digital camera, is NOT meant to be a storage device for photos. Especially precious photos of a newborn baby.
Had you been using your iPhone as recommended, you would have imported those precious photos off that phone (or digital camera) almost immediately to your computer for proper storage and archival. Relying on a phone, which can be easily lost, stolen, dropped or broken to store your photos is asking for trouble. Not importing them off your phone before doing a software uprgrade borders on stupidity.
If your photos are not present in your most recent backup from which you can restore, then they are gone forever.
I feel badly for you. Unfortunately, you're one of many users on this forum who have lost valuable photos simply by not using the iPhone as was intended and recommended. It's a very tough lesson learned.

If you mean you are trying to delete your iCloud account in iOS 7 and you don't know the passwod for the old ID, do one of the following:
If you still have access to your old email address, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email account and verify it. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You should then be able to turn off Find My iPhone with your password. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back and change your primary email address and iCloud ID back to the way it was. You will then be able to go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current ID and password to reconnect to your iCloud account.
If you don't have access to your old email address, you will have to contact Apple to get them to reset the password for it so you can disable Find My iPhone and sign into your iCloud account. You will have to prove your identity to them in order to do so. You can either contact iTunes support for assistance with this (https://ssl.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html), or contact Apple Support (http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/). -
When I run the Apple Software update, it tells me that iCloud and iTunes have invalid signature and will not be downloaded. When I DL iTunes64setup.exe, the program will not start (there's a bar that flashes but nothing actually begins). I've done everything short of reinstalling Windows to fix this (system resore, unistalling all Apple products, taking down firewall, running Windows FixIt - which either won't find the problem or gives me an error saying that the troubleshooter cannot be downloaded at this time, going into the security features to allow programs without valid signatures, trying to install earlier versions of iTunes). It all started when I downloaded the Decemberists new album on my iPhone, and it wasn't downloading it properly so I connected it to my Dell, but some songs still wouldn't DL - also, the newest OS for my iPhone still won't install via WiFi - and so I uninstalled iTunes first, but nothing is helping. And I don't have any security issues (Norton has checked). Any ideas? I'm at my wit's end after 3 days of this. Thank you.
Ok, so after like 4 days of going through all these different issues, I figured out that several programs weren't downloading, and it was an issue with my wireless connectivity messing up the digital signatures, so if you plug in your comp to the modem and delete your temp files, it should start to work!

So everything on this page relates to Apple products. I am running a Sony laptop with Windows and as soon as I install iCloud desktop iTunes has stopped working. The only time I ever needed it. GREAT! Do you do this on purpose?
The latest version of iTunes tends to act up occassionaly. See this support document http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923 and remove and reinstall iTunes. This will not affect your music library, apps or other content in iTunes. Make sure you follow the steps exactly.
Also, just copying the ringtone will not get it into your phone. iPhone ringtones have an extension of m4r, and you have to first take the Media player file and covert it to an AAC version. From there you need to change the extension from m4a to m4r. If you cannot see file extensions in Windows Explorer, which is actually the default action, go into Organize>Folder and search options, then hit the View tab, and then remove the checkmark by hide file extensions from known file types. After you have created the m4a version and changed the file extension, you can double-click on it and it should show up in the Tones folder in iTunes. From there, sync the phone and it should show up in the list of ringtones. -
BB Bold Apps wiped clean after software update HELP!
I have an app on my Blackberry called BugMe!, where you can create reminder lists, which was wiped totally clean after I updated my Bold last weekend. I had some very important lists and need to know if I can recover these. Please help!
Unfortunately DM only backs up your BB settings, core applications and RIM Add On apps (such as BB Maps, Memo Pad, Password Keeper, etc). If you used BB Swiss Army Knife or BB Master Control Program, then you can recover 3rd party apps. Some applications allow you to backup your settings to the SD card, which is very handy.

when i finally connected my mac to work network on windows environment everything related to apple including App store, Safari, software updates, iCloud and iTunes do not work using a proxy server and everything else is working very well including chrome browser…i tried everything but no clue...anybody have solution for this..???
I also forgot to note that this problem also persists with the new iBooks application. I cannot get past the 'Get Started' screen or access the iBooks Store. Again, all top bar menus are unresponsive.

every time I try to sync my phone and restore my content after I updated my iPhone, iTunes goes through the prompts and then says "cancelling sync" at step 5. I cannot restore my apps or music!
when i try to sync my music which i have on my PC's itunes it will just not transfere on the phone. everything will sync [apps, videos, contacts] but the music will just not transfere.
and when i try to download the music from the phone's itunes store it will say "Error. Tap again to retry".

Lost iTunes on pc after an update (Neighbor has same problem) Tried to open and message said " iTunes not installed correctly,Please reinstall itunes" . Tried to do so and same message with another message"application failed because MSVCR890.dll was not found.Re-installing may fix this problem" Tried several times and same message. How do I prevent files from being backed up to iCloud and iTunes?
I have created the ios app using adobe AIR16 and flash cc. After submission of my aap into aapstore, I received a message from Apple with the following message –

By using xcode we can prevent files from being backed up to icloud and itunes, but i want to know that what is the way to achieve this by using AIR. While creating an explicit app id from apple developer account , i am not enabling icloud support.Within AIR you can set the File.preventBackup property to true on a directory or file to prohibit that content from being backed up to the cloud:

I tried to update new iOS version but sign in failed 3 times with correct password. I had just installed an app about 4 hours prior. Tested loggin on from comouter to iCloud and iTunes and was successful, so same ID and password should work. Also reset password to fis this same issue about 4 days ago. How do I solve this problem?

I would suggest a) resetting the password on desktop https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/ive-lost-my-firefox-sync-account-information#w_iaove-forgotten-my-sync-password-ae-how-do-i-reset-it_2 and then b) trying again on your Android phone or tablet
If the above doesn't help and since we can't read minds :-) we need more troubleshooting details to help you:
# What version of Android are you using (e.g. Jellybean 4.1-4.3, Kitkat 4.4, Lollipop 5.0, 5.1, etc)?
# What version of Firefox for Android are you using? (please try the latest version which is currently FF37.0.1)
# What did you do exactly, what happened and what did you expect? (details please! including the steps in the video you followed)

Music on my phone does not show all the iTunes artwork, even after doing a backup restore, eliminating all music and restoring I have an iphone5 64 syncing about 8000 songs, so updating all is a time consuming, and now maddening process. Never had a problem before iOS 8. Someone (hello Apple) needs to develop a utility to help manage artwork recovery.

It's not in the top window now, it's in the main section. When you plug your iPod in click on it and at the bottom of the window the Capacity pole changes as it adds stuff.
