ICloud asking to change security code, cause of change in servers

First iCloud asked me to enter my password. Several hours after this it asked me to change it, cause there were change in servers. Should I trust this message? When I open my iCloud from the web, there is no such message poping up.

The credit card security code is a unique three or four digit number printed on the front (American Express) or back (Visa/MasterCard) of your card.

That refers to the 3 digit security code on the back of your credt card, not a security code for the iPad.

Family sharing verification has an old credit card number to verify. I have updated the credit card info but it is still not appearing in the verification process asking for the security code of the card. How lng to have account info updated to cloud

I am trying to set up a family sharing with a new iMac and other Mac pro computer and other apple products. When I click to manage account and the add a member, I am told to verify the user by entering the security code from the credit card. The card listed is an old one and has since been changed. I updated the info on my apple account, but it is not getting to the iCloud for the family sharing. The number shown is the old card. When I enter a code it says invalid. How long does it take for the info to udate to all systems?

Happy Holidays! The resource below explains how to edit the credit card information for the Apple ID account that you want to use for Family Sharing. Once you've made the changes, I would suggest you sign out of your iTunes Store on all of your devices, and then restart them. The changes should take place quickly. Why it won't let me get free apps with my card keeps taking me to billing info and asking my security code

HOW TO FIX "INVALID SECURITY CODE" PROBLEM:
Since apple's "customer support" consists of a whole bunch of ******** derelicts who blame you or your credit card company for this message, I had to take it upon myself to figure out a way around the problem. All you have to do is change your billing information in iTunes from your credit card to PayPal.
I was getting this same ridiculous "invalid security code" message when I knew I had entered it correctly!
It's funny, because PayPal recognized it as a valid account and security code, and now all my apps finally work again.
Open iTunes
Go to the Store
On the right, click on "Account"
Next to "Payment Type", click "Edit"
Click the PayPal logo and either enter your existing PayPal account info or create a new one (as I did)
I'm not a fan of PayPal, therefore I never had one. I created one really quickly and even used the same account that mysteriously stopped working. (AND WITH NO PROBLEMS... THANKS, APPLE)
I really hope this helps anyone with this same problem as it is really frustrating when somebody **cough cough apple** tells you that you're doing something wrong when you know you're not, and takes no liability whatsoever when the error is on their behalf.

Why skype keeps asking me about security codes????

when I sing in, skype keeps asking me if I wanted to change the security codes...Then I say yes(because I cannot take this back) they send me email on a certain day(when I am not home of course) and I cannot change the passwords(neither DO I WANT TO)....then this circle repeats itself over and over, and itse starting to annoy me greatly.
I JUST WANT TO KEEP USING THIS **bleep**.....
How can I make it stop ?`I just want to sign in without having to send over and over again these requests...just to get to my account for a week again.

Change the security codes? I am confused, and not following along ... could you please kindly post back with a screen shot of what you are seeing? Please remember to "white out" any personal information before you upload your screen shot.
If you could also provide more information about where you use Skype, this could be helpful:
- Hardware used (laptop/phone/tablet brand and model)
- Operating system (version and updates installed)
- Skype version used
- Internet connection used

ICloud Keychain reset without security code

I set yo iCloud Keychain without problems but did not set up a security code. Later,I disabled iCloud Keychain but now want to enable it again. My contact phone is a landline without SMS capability. How can I recover and start over from scratch?

After continued research, I finally found what I think is the best article in Apple Support on this issue. It explains how to reset the iCloud Keychain. The two lessons that I learned from this were:
1. Always use your iPhone as the reference phone number so you can get the proper support from Apple (I had listed a landline)
2. Always be sure to establish your iCloud Keychain security code when you set up iCloud Keychain.

It is correct. Update your account settings and information. If the security code is all that is needed to verify your account, that is pretty easy to fix.

Launch iTunes. From the menu bar click Store / View My Account / Edit Payment Information.
Make sure your billing information, Security code and expiration date are correct then click Done.
Now try to download updates.
Apple verifies your billing information, even for updates.

HT1918 App store is asking for the security code of my card, when I write it down and press ok, it still does not accept it.

For some reasone app store is not accepting my card, it is asking for a security key, once I write the security key it is still rejecting the card

Often there is another billing issue you can not see from your end that causes this.

Contact your your account information, make sure it matches what you have on your card statement. If everything's matching, contact your bank.

How do i set up iCloud keychain if the security code was sent to a device i lost

So I lost my original ipone 5 while i was overseas. I locked it and wiped out the the information using Find My iPhone. Now i have a new ipone 5C but the verifivation code is being sent to my old phone number instead of my new one. If you need to change the phone number associated with your account (from http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5834):
Devices using iOS 7.0.3 or later: Tap Settings > iCloud > Account, then tap Keychain. Check that the phone number listed under Verification Number is correct. If not, enter another phone number.
Macs using OS X Mavericks v10.9 or later: Choose Apple () menu > System Preferences. Click iCloud, then click Account Details. Check that the phone number listed under Verification number is correct. If not, enter another phone number.
