ICloud Backup is not showing up when trying to restore?

(Obviously) I just updated to iOS 7. GOt through activation and everything. But when I was setting up through the phone and through iTunes, my iCloud backup does not show to restore from. I backed it up this morning at 9 AM and it only shows one from 1 PM. I checked my iCloud storage and the control panel and it's there, but not available apparently for a restore. Any ideas?

Is it possible that some of the clips were recorded in 60P? iMovie does not natively edit 60P.
There are several options.
You could convert it to 30P using an app like ClipWrap.
You can edit 60P in Final Cut Pro X.

Your Powerbook 6,8 (the 1.5GHz 12" model, correct?) was never shipped with OS X 10.4.6 discs, so you were sold installer discs with it that are specific to a different Powerbook model and can't be used on yours. Contact the seller and ask for the correct discs, but don't hold out too much hope of getting them at this point. The seller probably has no idea how to identify them even if he has them — it's really very hard to do.
What you will probably need is a retail (universal) installer DVD of OS X v. 10.4.3 through 10.4.11 or any version of 10.5.x. Don't buy any disc that has a gray label, nor one that says "Upgrade" or mentions the name of any Mac model on its label.

Sorry, don't know what you are asking. You have an old iPad Mini 3 and a new iPad Mini 3? How did you set up the new iPad? Did you restore it from a backup of the old iPad? What photos are you not seeing?

Check that the email address is correct for your login. You'd be surprised how many times I've seen people see the prompt and just go with a password and not realize that the email address was wrong.
Aside from that, you can try resetting your password via the iForgot app.
If you forgot your password, you can easily recover or reset it using iForgot. For security reasons, Apple cannot reset your password for you. To protect yourself against unauthorized purchases to your credit card, do not give out your password to anyone.
NOTE: If you attempt to sign in to the Apple Online Store numerous times with the wrong password, you will see the following error message: “This Apple ID has been disabled for security reasons." To reset your account, use iForgot.

Backup contents not showing during Time Machine system restore

I just installed a new hard drive on my Macbook Pro so I'm trying to restore a backup of my old hard drive that was saved on a USB-connected external drive (model: LaCie Minimus). However, when I try to transfer the information during system setup, my backup is not showing as part of the external drive's contents. Only the backup information of two other computers are showing up, but not mine (my computer is called 'Hannah Mercader's Macbook Pro'):

I am positive that I have been backing up my laptop properly using Time Machine. However, the last time that I did try backing up my laptop, it didn't work because my hard drive had failed in the middle of the process (hence the reason for needing to install a new hard drive). I've already tried to Repair the external drive using Disk Utility... everything seems OK but my backups still aren't showing when I try to set up my laptop.
Please help me to restore my last proper backup's contents!

Most likely, some folders were excluded from your backups as the result of a failed or aborted software installation.
Starting from a clean installation of OS X, set up a new administrator account and log in. Enter Time Machine and press the key combination shift-command-C. The front window will show all mounted volumes. All snapshots should now be accessible.* Select the one you want and navigate to your home folder (in the Users folder at the top level of the old startup volume.)
You should now be able to restore your user data. I suggest you do this in two stages. Quit all applications except the Finder before you begin.
Restore all the visible items at the top level of your home folder.
Hold down the option key and select Go ▹ Library from the Finder menu bar. Enter Time Machine and restore all items in the Library folder. Log out and log back in as soon as the restore is complete.
Any other invisible folders or files at the top level of your home folder that you want to preserve will have to be restored separately. For most users, that isn't necessary.
You'll have to reinstall all third-party applications from scratch, or restore them from another kind of backup, if you have one.
You'll have another problem if this is a new computer, or if you erased the startup volume: The next time you back up, Time Machine won't recognize any files as being the same as they were before, and will make a full copy of all files. There might not be enough space on one or more of your backup volumes for that. There are different ways of dealing with that situation, depending on your needs. The easiest way is to set your backup drives aside, if possible, until you're sure you'll no longer need the data on them, then erase them and start over. Meanwhile start a new backup on one or more empty storage devices. If that solution isn't workable for you, ask for instructions.

Saved file will not show up when trying to attach file in mail

Sometimes... and only sometimes.. when I make a new file and then go back to my email or browser to attach the file it will not show in the place I saved it. If I click to list view SOMETIMES. I check the folder I saved it in and it's there.... .. go back to attach it.. it's not. Sometimes it will pop up if I toggle to column view then back to list view, but not always. Sometimes it's there the first time. Frustrating!!!

This sounds like a permissions problem. Have you recently Repaired Disk Permissions? Is the file saved on the same HD or partition where your Home folder resides?

ITunes keeps saying the server could not be contacted when trying to restore my iPhone 5

I'm trying to restore my iPhone 5 using iTunes, because my battery life has greatly decreased, and I believe it to be a software problem. Therefore I'm wanting to wipe the software completely, and update it again, but when I hit restore, it extracts the software, and then tells me the update server could not be reached. I'm not sure what the problem is, I updated my iTunes again and retried but the same thing happened. Please let me know what to do to restore my phone

IPhoto pictures does not show up when trying to change desktop pictures

When I got my new MBP I used a Time Machine back up to restore my system. This has worked great, though so far there is one little issue:
When I right click my desktop and choose "Change background picture" my iPhoto images doesn't show up in the menu like they used to.
Has anyone got any idea about how to get them back in there? Do I somehow have to "let Leopard know" that I have an iPhoto library that I would like to be able to choose from?

That is most likely a shared library issue. The Finder is trying to access your iPhoto library without iPhoto being open. Sometimes when libraries are shared, they can become corrupt.

The easiest way to fix this is to back up your important data and do an Archive and Install which restores your system software. It does NOT erase the drive, you do not have to reinstall any Apple pre-installed software, ie., iLife applications.

Clips not showing up when trying to import to iMovie

I have a Panasonic HDC-SD90. When attaching by USB or by taking out the SD card and inserting into the side of my iMac I can only import 4 of the 35 or so video clips on the SD card. Any ideas? I have already clicked on "Camera" in the import window to see if the clips were recorded in different file types to no avail. Thanks

Multiple picklist field not showing up when trying to create a custom repor

I recently have created 4 new fields in CRM, and 3 of the 4 fields can be found to create a report. For some reason, the multiple picklist field has not shown up. Any suggestions or advice on why this is an issue?

The multi-select picklist should be available in the Analytics reports not in real-time reports.
Another thing is that there is a delay in metadata refresh in reports, in staging it is about a week, in production it is 1 day, I think. so if you created a multi-select picklist in staging today, it would be available in analytics reports maybe after a week.

HT1414 I get error "cannot restore phone because not enough memory" when trying to restore iphone 5

My iphone 5 is freezing continuously and will not respond until turning off and on. It then freezes again with the first usage and will not respond with any button. I tried restoring it but get the message " Cannot restore phone because there isn't enough memory". Is anyone familiar with this problem?

Error When Trying to Restore from iTunes Backup

I had to erase and re-install the operating system. I thought I had iTunes covered by burning an iTunes backup to a CD, but when trying to restore iTunes from the CD it will restore a few songs and then give an error message that it was unable to read or write to my hard drive. I looks as though it restored the music that I owned and put on the computer but not the tunes I had purchased from the iTunes store and not the playlists. I did not know enough to burn the /music file. Is there anything I can do to get the burned CD to restore?

Contacts are not part of the backup. They are seperate and either you need to sync them with an email program such as outlook or use icloud mail,contacts, and calendars on the phone. Unless you did that then the contacts are gone.

Missing backups when trying to restore

Hey everyone,
We are trying to test our backups / restores on a clone backup system.
We took a backup of the original system using brtools/backed up to netbackup, and in we could see the netbackup utility took the backup well, and the backup was listed as successful in db12.
However, when trying to restore this on the clone system, only 2 backups seem to come up when trying to restore the whole database... both these backups are very old (and ones we did to disk before netbackup backup was setup).
Does anyone know what I could look at (I'm out of ideas) in terms of why BRTOOLS cannot see the backup in netbackup?
Any help at this point would be greatly appriciated.

Hi,
and you need to configure netbackup to allow client
"clone system" to access backups from client "production system".
On the client you like to restore issue a
echo #NULL | backint -u SID -p /oracle/SID/102_64/dbs/initSID.utl -f inquire
This should list the items the client sees on the netbackup server.
If you do not see anything, your netbackup cxlient configuration is not yet correct.
After the above works, you can either restore backSID.log or copy it
over from source, if that system is still alive. But if you like to have a desaster test,
you should learn how to restore these items, instead of copying them over for ease of process.
