ICloud calendar is not receiving any invites (not on iOS, not online)

I just recently started using iCloud.  Have a @me.com mail address and also some other (non-icloud) mail addresses.
Now when I send an invite to my @me address, I receive the invite in the mailbox but not in the calendar (not on iOS and not on icloud.com).
Any ideas?
Apart from that, I have also setup forwarding on my Google Apps address to my @me.com address.  The calendar invites send to that address are not shown in calendar either.  Anyone any idea what I might try?
On my iPhone, calendar sync is enabled for my iCloud account.
Thanks for any help!
Xavier

There are two problems here: The badge on the icon not indicating unread messages and the notification banners, alerts, sounds, etc. not appearing. I suffered from both of these problems. (I wasn't getting notifications of either type.)
After doing this "load/unload" trick (from krinchan in https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5480178):
launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchAgents/com.apple.soagent.plist
launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchAgents/com.apple.soagent.plist
the notification banners and sounds returned to normal.
The problem w/ the badge on the icon not appearing was fixed after restarting the Dock (thanks foobaratanometer in https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3743614).
Just my two data points.

Any suggestions? I've found that deleting the calendar and readding it will work initially, but the calendar will eventually stop syncing and can even make Outlook unstable. I've even seen instances where the Internet Calendar Subscriptions pst has grown up to 40 GB!

When syncing Contacts or Calendars between an iPhone, iPad, or an iPod touch and Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007, or Outlook 2010, changes that you synced to your computer may not appear in Outlook even after the sync has been completed.Try this article to see if it works for you

Can someone please help - I want to sync my icloud calendar with my iphone calendar.  All of my entries from previous months are on my icloud calendar but not my iphone.  How do I get them back on there?  I have corrected my settings for future entries (I think/hope) but want to put the old stuff back on.

    Try this...
Settings > Mail, Contact, Calendars.  Scroll down to Calendars and set "Sync" as desired.

  • ICloud Calendar will not sync with iCloud

I am at a complete loss here.  I have my work MBA running Yosemite and connected to my iCloud account.  I also have a personal MBP, iPhone and iPad, all running the latest OS and Patch, all connected to my iCloud account.
For 98% of it, it works and syncs perfectly.  Except for the calendar on my MBA.  Calendar works and syncs perfectly everywhere else, MBA works perfectly with iMessage, FaceTime, Contacts, Keychain, etc, etc, etc.
    Basic troubleshooting I have performed:
    Rebooted MBA (obviously)
Attempted to remove calendars from syncing with my iCloud account (unsuccessful) - will not remove calendars.
Attempted to remove entire iCloud account from MBA (unsuccessful)
i have signed out everywhere on my MBA, when I go to System Preferences > iCloud and attempt to sign out, it fails.
When I go to Internet Accounts, iCloud keeps coming back as "INACTIVE" with nothing checked.
When I go through all the apps, Calendar is the only one that shows the iCloud data (iMessage shows me as signed out, same with App Store, iTunes, FaceTime, Contacts, etc)
Rebooted MBA multiple times throughout the process, to no avail or difference
Performed a repair install of Yosemite through the recovery console
After repair install, iCloud calendars still show up, even though my iCloud account under System Preferences shows me as signed out
After repair install, signed back into iCloud to see if I could re-sync calendarsiCloud shows me as signed in and Calendars as successfully setup
Upon launching Calendars, i get the spinning wheel in the top left of my calendar app and new calendar items created on the MBA do not sync with iCloud (website or other connected devices)
Created new calendar item on other devices as well as iCloud website, calendar item never shows up on MBA
So, aside from a complete format of the hard drive, can anyone think of any options I haven't tried?  Or some way to completely reset one app (such as Calendar)

Needed to add some clarification here:
iCloud shows me as signed in, but Calendars are NOT checked
Internet Accounts shows Calendars as syncing

  • A multi-day/all-day event in the iCloud calendar does not show up in iCal if the "all-day" box is checked

When I establish a multi-day event on iCloud but do not check the "all-day" box it shows up just fine in iCal as an event that exists on each day along side the other events that occupy those dates.  However, when I check the "all-day" box when editing the event (in either calendar) the event completely disappears from the iCal calendar (it shows up across the top of the iCloud calendar in the "all-day eventt" line.  On my iPhone, there is no change in appearance (the event shows up on each day).
Anybody have a clue what causes this?  Maybe just a "feature" of iCal beta?

This is exactly what's happening to me. I've been able to recreate this on a Touch also with OS4. It's not occuring on OS3. I've only been able to recreate the problem on July 30th and August 1st calendar dates for some reason. It may be happening on other dates also but I havn't been able to find any.
To recreate the problem go into day view on the calendar. Go to August 1st and create a calendar entry. Then touch the left arrow to go back a day then touch the right arrow to return to august 1st and your entry is invisible. It's still there because if you go forward a day then go back a day it shows.
I've been using list view only now to avoid missing these invisible entries.

  • ICloud calendar will not allow delegation

I am trying to share a calendar with my wife who is on another appleid. Following the instructions on the iCalendar Help it said to go to
    Calendar-> Preferences & select Accounts.
Then select the calendar account to share which I did.
When I clicked the Delegation tab the window indicated
The server doesn't support delegation for this account.
Is this some iCloud setting I need to change? Or ...?
I'm fairly new to using iCalendar on a computer (rather than via iOS iTouch).

do you have calendars checked in your icloud preferences?  if not that may be the issue.
also here are the steps for sharing an icloud calendar:
You can give people read-only or read-and-write privileges to shared calendars. They can access your calendars using Calendar (on a Mac with OS X Mountain Lion, iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch), iCloud Calendar at www.icloud.com, iCal (on a Mac with OS X Lion v10.7.2 or later), and Microsoft Outlook.
On OS X Mountain Lion v10.8.2 or later, place the pointer over the calendar’s name, and then click the broadcast icon.Or, click the calendar’s name, and then choose Edit > Share Calendar. If you don’t see your calendars, click Calendars.
Select whether you want the calendar to be private or public.
If you make the calendar private, only the people you invite can see the calendar. To share the calendar with someone, on OS X Mountain Lion v10.8.2 or later, enter the person’s email address (or contact’s name), and then press Return. To change the person’s access privileges, click the triangle next the address (or name), and then choose an option.Or, click Add (+), and then enter the person’s email address. Select the person’s access privileges in the Privilege column.
If you make the calendar public, the calendar is read-only, and anyone with the URL can subscribe to it.To share a public calendar with someone, on OS X Mountain Lion v10.8.2, either enter the person’s email address (or contact’s name) or click the Share button next to the calendar’s URL.Or, hold down the Control key, click the calendar’s name, and then choose Resend Invitations.
    Click Done (or Share).
try these steps and should resolve the issue

  • Icloud calendar does not sync events

Can't seem to find any information on why Calendar does not sync with iCloud. I get the message, "Loading more events..." but no events ever show up. Not sure how to proceed to get the syncing working.

Try force-closing the calendar app on your phone: double-tap the home button, locate Calendar in the list, swipe up on the image above the app icon to close it, tap the home button again.  Now reset the phone by holding the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo and release.  Test your calendar again.  Any change?

  • Icloud calendar is not showing up in outlook

I have shared my Mail, Contacts, and Calendar through iCloud, but, only my iCloud mail shows up in my Outlook 2013.  Neither Contacts nor Calendar have their own folders showing in those aspects of Outlook.  Any ideas?

I am having the same problem. Mail, note & tasks work perfectly, but no iCloud calendars show in my Outlook.
Are recommending reinstalling iCloud completely to get it to work?
Is there something that can be done directly from my Outlook? It synces perfecty on iCloud.

  • Shared iCloud calendar events not updating on shared devices

I had successfully set up a shared iCloud calendar with my friend which enabled us to edit and view the same calendar on our iPhones and iMacs.
Everything was working fine until a few days ago when it stopped working. When either one of us created new events, they wouldn't show up on the other person's calendar and when they seldomly did, not even an alert popped up like it used to which the person had to go under the invitations page and accept them.
What could possibly have gone wrong? We tried deleting the calendar then re-sharing but it stopped working very suddenly.

    Hi trenten7,
Here is an article that goes through troubleshooting iCloud calendars, including different steps for different devices:
    iCloud: Troubleshooting iCloud Calendar
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3999
I would start with troubleshooting the two Macs and then move on to the iPhones.

  • IOS 7 - iCloud calendar push not working

Ever since upgrading to iOS 7, our iCloud calendars are no longer automatically pushing onto our iPhones (iPhone 4S and iPhone 5S).
If we make a change to our iCloud calendars on the iCloud.com website or on our OS X calendar, the calendar changes won't automatically appear on our iPhones unless we MANUALLY LAUNCH the Calendar App. Once we launch the Calendar App, the iCloud calendars update perfectly within a few seconds. But we are FORCED to manually launch the calendar app first, in order to get the calendars to update.
The "Push" setting is already turned on in our "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" Settings, so that's not the problem.
Push will work okay for about 20 minutes after we manually launch the calendar app on our iPhones, but after that, it's as if the calendar app "goes to sleep" and needs to be manually woken up.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

It has been like this even since iOS 6 (mabye earlier also).
This also happens on OS X (Mountain Lion).
What makes it work again is simply to go to Settings -> iCloud and unselect calendar.
Wait 20 secounds then select calendar again.
    Same procedure on OS X.
This makes the system reconnect to the calendar server.
For me it usually stops to work again after 1-2 days. Really annoying.
I think this is a problem on the iCloud-calenders-server side since it's both on iOS and OS X.

  • Icloud Calendar are not correct synced

I have problems with my iCloud Calendar - it will erase items in my calendar when I open the browser. I have tested now on firefox and chrome, same problem. On my ipad and iphone is it ok, the times are not erased. To get the items up in the calendar on my pc (in the browser), I have to updated from my ipad, one and one item.
Can someone tell me what is happening with iCloud ??????????

Thanks for the suggestion. Sadly, that did not fix it. I changed the sync setting as you described, but I still don't get my older events. I have turned my IOS devices off and on again too. One more piece of information, the only events I see for October are recurring events. Either one day events like birthdays set to repeat every year, or events within the month that spanned more than one day. No one time events or appointments are showing.

  • IOS 5 upgrade. iPhone 4.  iCloud calendar sync not working

I set up icloud on my iphone after the upgrade and activated all the sync options.  Now when I go to calendar I only see one calendar and none of my events are there.  If I go to iCloud I see the events in the calendar.  I cannot even add a new calendar.    If I delete the iCloud account on the iphone; I can then add in new calendars.
Anyone know why the iphone  is not syncing with the iCloud calendar.  Same issue is on my ipad too.
    Thanks.

I had the same problem - this is how I fixed it.  My iPhone calendar entries weren't syncing to my iPad or iCloud - except for two events.  What I realized is that my default calendar on my iPhone was set to the "Calendar" which is listed as "On My iPhone".  "Work" and "Home" were listed under my iCloud account name.  So I switched my default Calendar to "Work" on my iPhone, edited my future calendar entries to "Work" from the generic iPhone "Calendar" and voila! - They all now sync with iCloud and my iPad.

  • Can't activate iCloud Keychain - Didn't received any sms activation code

I can't activate iCloud Keychain either on my MBP or my iPhone. Only option I have is to activate via SMS since non of my devices has, at this point, activated iCloud Keychain.
My phone number is the right one.
I've tried to activate it multiple times in multiple days, but I didn't received any sms with that activation code.
The steps I've take so far:
    I've clicked "use Code"
that will be the final step, to insert the verification code but that code has never arrived.

I have lots of passwords stored in iCloud, would be end of the world if I lose them
Do you have another machine where they are accessible? I strongly encourage you to log on to that machine and back them up. I have been though this with iCloud Keychain before (https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-7081). It isn't a pleasant process.
You can try calling Apple first, instead of resetting your keychain. But you really need to export your passwords. iCloud Keychain is very convenient, but not safe.
