Icloud calendar showing events 1 hour early

I'm accessing my Calendar in icloud using Chrome (Version 35.0.1916.153 m) from my work PC. I've noticed that sometimes the events I've entered manually have mysteriously changed time so that they appear one hour earlier than I originally entered them as. If I double click the event to open it to edit it, the correct time is shown but as soon as I close it again it is listed incorrectly.
Any ideas?
Many thanks

I wish is was that simple. Unfortunately not all of the events in my Calendar are shifted. I'm starting to wonder if it is just events I created on my iphone that I'm viewing from my pc and vice-versa

  • Icloud calender showing an hour's difference between two shared calenders

My icloud calender, shared with my boss, is showing the correct time at my end but his calender shows it as an hour later.
I have an LG desktop. The 'London Time' settings are correct on my computer and iphone (which is where my calender is linked to).  The times showing on my iphone are the same wrong ones showing up on his calendar so it's just my deskptop icloud calender showing the correct times.
    Any thoughts please

Did you check System Preferences>Notifications for Calendars to make sure the Calendar Alert Style isn't set to None?
You might also want to check your calendar preferences on icloud.com to be sure "in-app notifications" is checked (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mma527d46).

  • TS3999 Subscribed calendar shows events in French on my iPhone, but English on my mac. Why?

    Hello,
I am using iCloud to sync my "Friends' Birthdays" calendar from Facebook between my mac and iPhone. On the mac with iCal, this works fine. Events show up in their own calendar exactly as they are supposed to. The calendar's location is set to iCloud under the info pane.
The problem occurs when the subscription is shared to my iPhone. The "Friends' Birthdays" calendar syncs in French! So instead of "Steve's Birthday", the event shows up as "Anniversaire de Steve". I tried subscribing to the calendar directly from my iPhone, but the same problem occurred. The iPhone defaults the name of the subscription to "Anniversaires d'amis", and the events are still in French.
This is not a problem with international settings that I am aware of. Here is a breakdown of my language preferences:
    Facebook: US English
    Mac: English
    iPhone: Settings>General>International>Language>English
    "">Voice Control>English
    "">Region Format>Canada
    "">Calendar>Gregorian
    Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Sync>Events 1 Month back
The only thing I can think of is that my wife uses her computer in French, and Facebook has associated our IP with her language preferences or something, but that should change the way iCal displays its events too, right?
    Confused!

Your Google calendar is not stored locally on your devices (other than a temporary cached view for use while your device is offline); it's stored on Google's server (just as  iCloud calendars are stored on iCloud's servers).  Neither can sycn data from the other service's server.  If you want to use iCloud to sync your calendars, you have to import it to iCloud's server as shown in the linked video.  Or, just continue to use Google instead.  (They are similar services.)

  • Outlook 2013 calendar shows 24 hour time when hovering mouse over appointment

Strange thing is, the computer is not set that way and the calendar's appointments show 12 hour time except when I hover the mouse over the appt. This is Outlook 2013 with Exchange/ Office 365.

    Hi,
Please start Outlook in safe mode to check whether the issue persists. If the issue doesn't happen in safe mode, it may be caused by some third-party add-ins. We can enable the add-ins which is disabled in safe mode one by one to find out the main cause.
For more information, please refer to Step 6: Start Outlook in safe mode
in the following KB to check whether the issue is caused by the temporary changes that occur when you start Outlook in safe mode:

  • MacBook Air iCloud calendars show colorful spinning circle with any change

Any change I try to make to any of my iCloud calendars results in a colorful spinning circle. Every single click of the mouse in any of my iCloud calendars results in this spinning wheel. The wheel will spin for varying amounts of time. Sometimes it does make the change, other times it doesn't. This only happens on my MBA. My iPhone and iPad iCloud calendars work just fine. Also, this same issue has happened using multiple different wifi connections. I have OS X Yosemite 10.10. This has been going on for three days now (since 11/12/14).  Anyone else experience this? Anyone know how to fix it? Thanks!

The warranty entitles you to complimentary phone support for the first 90 days of ownership.
If you bought the product in the U.S. directly from Apple (not from a reseller), you have 14 days from the date of delivery in which to exchange or return it for a refund. In other countries, the return policy may be different. If you bought from a reseller, its return policy applies.

  • I'm suddenly having issues with my calendar...I will input a time and on the calendar it will show up an hour early ... If I click on the event it will show the correct time but at first glance it's showing one hour early! Help!

    Anyone have suggestions?

    Go to:
Settings > General > Date & Time > Time Zone
Check if you have your correct zone selected. Also, do you sync your calendars with any Mac or PC or Web service (like Google calendar)? If so, check if all your time zone settings are the same.
    Cheers,
    JP

  • Create Calendar showing events

When I create a calendar using Photoshop 4 I want to have all of my events show on it. I have entered all of my events in the calendar view in the organizer but they don't show up on the finished calendar. When I create a calendar I cant figure out how to get my events listed on the finished calendar.
    Thanks
    Tim

    >When I create a calendar I cant figure out how to get my events listed on the finished calendar.
If you mean the Calendar Creation that you print (and I think you do), I don't believe that those events will print. They are visible in the Date View of the Organizer - but the Calendar creation does not print them.
You are far from the first person to discover this after you have entered your events. There is a Features Request subforum/folder here at
    http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx/.ef32bec/
so you can enter a request for a future version of Elements to print these events in Calendar creations.
I don't work for Adobe, so I can't give you any reason why. However, I do agree it is reasonable for you to expect that these events that you have entered would print.

  • Calendar show event on incorrect day - timezone miscalculation

I have an event that occurs on Thursday from 7am to 8am in Sydney, Australia. I am in Central time in the US, so it occurs on Wednesday from 2pm to 3pm. The event shows up in my calendar on Thursday. The event was created in Outlook I assume, and shows up correctly in my Outlook, but not Mac Calendar. Any ideas on how to get this to show up on Wednesday?
    Thanks!

Time Zone support is turned on and linked to my current time zone correctly. Also, the event is now showing up on both Wednesday and Thursday. I am not sure what caused it to do that, but the problem originally started that way, then moved to just Thursday, and now it is back to both days.

  • Icloud Calendar Future events disappear

Hello, I have an interesting question.  I have an Event in the VERY distant future.  Oct 31 2039.  I went to put a reminder in my calendar and I put it in, and then it immediately disappeared.  Are we unable to place events into the distant future?  I have other reminders available to me, but I enjoy having it on my calendar.

I wish is was that simple. Unfortunately not all of the events in my Calendar are shifted. I'm starting to wonder if it is just events I created on my iphone that I'm viewing from my pc and vice-versa

  • IPhone Calendar Showing Entry 5 Hours Early

    All-
Calendar entries I receive from others into my Outlook 2007 (XP) Calendar appear 5 hours early on my iPhone calendar.
These entries appear in the correct time slot in Outlook.
I sync my Outlook calendar to MobileMe and the entries appear correctly online on www.me.com/calendar.
I have turned the "Time Zone" setting on and off about a hundred times in the past few months I have been experiencing this problem.
When I schedule a new meeting in Outlook 2007 the meeting appears on the iPhone in the correct time.
Has anyone else experienced something similar?
    Again:
    - Calendar invites from others, 5 hrs early on the iPhone
    - Correct in Outlook 2007 (XP)
    - Correct in www.me.com using MobleMe Sync (Windows)
    - Time Zone setting both "on" and "off" - same error
    - Calendar entries I create in Outlook appear on iPhone correctly
    Thanks
    Matt

Depends on your setting.  Go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars...scroll down to the Calendars section, tap Default Alert Times>Birthdays, set as desired.

  • IOS 4.2.1 - Calendar alerts *still* one hour early - help?

Upgraded to 4.2.1 in hopes of squashing this bug, but no go. Yes, I have tried all the obvious solutions: manual time, automatic time, making sure time zones are the same for the clock and the calendar prefs. Nothing works. Any advice?
Just to be clear -- this is not an alarm bug, and these events aren't recurring.
While were at it, can we change the naming convention of "on date of event" to "at time of event"? I mean, really... isn't every alarm set at various points throughout a single day "on date of event"?

Last night I updated my iPhone 3GS to the iOS 4.2. Now, the phone shows one hour early. Also the events on iCal on the phone show one hour early. In the mean time, the events on iCal on my Macbook (OS 10.6.5) and on my Mobile Me account show the correct time.
I live in Republic of Panama and we don't keep daylight savings time.
Does anyone now how to fix this?
Is Apple going to fix this?

  • Can't add events to iCloud calendars on my iPhone

I have my phone and Mac set up on iCloud, and my iCloud calendars show up on my phone. But when I make a new event on my phone, I can't add them to my iCloud calendars. Thanks.

OK, a simple restart of the iPad fixed the calendar problem, but now my contacts are gone!!

  • Calendar shows deleted events

I have always synced my iphone calendar with Outlook 2010 calendar. Ever since upgrading my iphone software to iOS 7.1, the iphone calendar shows events that were long since deleted from Outlook calendar (I have since also upgraded to 7.1.1 and the problems continues). There are enough of these that it would be a pain to go through the phone and delete again and makes the iphone calendar near impossible to use as I cant tell what has been deleted in Outlook and what is still a true appointment. I have tried erasing and resyncing the iphone calendar several times, including the Advanced option of replacing information on the iphone with information "currently" on the computer. Any assistance with this problem would be greatly appreciated.

This is odd. Turned off Push overnight and when I turned it on this morning - all my calendar entries were there and syncing both ways - ie from phone to exchange (outlook) and back again.
The only things I did - were as follows:-
Auto Archived my Inbox to shrink it down - dont know if the size was an issue. May have had an positive effect with Conatacts and Calendar too.
Turned off Push and Fetch was set to manual overnight - turned back to Push - and all was well in the morning. I only did this as I did not want my phone beeping through the night.
The only thing I would say it took a lot of hours for this to be fully sync'd for the first time. I got mail downloaded/syncing in a about an hour or so of downloading and cant connect screens popping up - but let it carry on and it did no problem - turned off Autolock whilst this was happening.
Overnight the contacts sync'd. Then last night (3rd Night) doing as I did above the calendar syncs.
Now when I add or delete mail, calendar contacts - it syncs straight away, so it may have been my server taking time to download all the info in the first place - espicially as I dont have a Wi-Fi network - it would have been doing this via the cellular connections - just my guess.
I hope this helps people having similar problems.
