ICloud calendar was working, not anymore!

This is driving me mad.
When I got the Z10, I was concerned about connecting to the office calendar that is on icloud but it worked, and really well.
In the past week though, it has stopped. In an effort to sort it out (it was asking for the server address), I deleted the calendar account and tried to re-instate but I get the following message:
"Your account iCal - [email protected] cannot be authenticated with your service provider. Please make sure that the account settings are correct".
I have tried .mac, .me & .icloud account names. I know the settings I have are fine, I can login online without any problem.
I also have another icloud account and I get the same message with that.

This was from the 2nd Feb 2013. Surely this has been sorted now or has it just fallen by the wayside??
I am running the very latest software - 10.1.0.273.
I really love the Z10 and don't want to go back to iphone but if this stays as an issue I may have to. Everybody in my business uses the ical and the ability to sync with it was crucial to my decision to move away from IOS to BB.

Out of curiosity, can you try the setup of your iCal account again, this time while connected to WiFi, or if on WiFi, turn off the wifi and try the connection only over the mobile network.

Outlook 2010, iCloud, Calendar, iPhone synch: not working together.

Everything had been working fine: My iPhone calendar events were synching with my Outlook Calendar and visa versa. Then a couple of days ago it seemed to stop. My iPhone wasn't synching with my Outlook. So what do I do? I look on the web to see if there is something about the problem. I read that it could be caused by the need for my iphone to have the latest update. I was using OS 6 and there was OS 6.1 available. I decided to go ahead and update the iphone.
Well, that killed the iphone. The screen when blue and then the apple symbol showed up on the computer and it just hung there. It was like it was trying to load and just not loading. I had no phone for the day. I was 4 hours from the closet Apple store, and after work headed off to the Apple Store.
When I arrived (40 min before they were set to close) they were very nice and took my phone and got it back up and running. The problem was that what ever they did killed all my pics and other info on my iphone (music...). But the Calendar seemed to be working. So I thanked them and trundled off to the hotel.
At the hotel I plugged my iphone into the computer and then it poped up saying that I could restore my phone from itunes! Yea!! So I did it.
Well... that killed the calendar again. So there was a bug or something goinng on between the icloud and iphone and Outlook, I think... I'm not sure but I think that had to be the case. I say I'm not sure because I hadn't checked to see if my Outlook clendar was updating and pushing those updates to my iphone through the icloud calendar. But I think that had stopped.
So again, a second day without a calendar. I had a phone so at least that wasn't too bad.
I made an appoointment at the San Antonio Northstar Mall Apple store location. Let me tell you what... these guys here are very friendly (especially Levi, great guy). And now I'm sitting here (for three hours) trying to get this resolved. Mind you many people would say "Hey that's taking a long time!" but remember folks we aren't paying these people to help us. True I'd be willing to pay but we're not... so relax.
Anyhoo... I finally got the Outlook Calendar to find the Icloud Calendar but it's still not synching up. I signed out and have signed back in and am hopeing that this resolves the loss of the calendar on Outlook.
I'll report more later.

I agree. I posted about this about a month ago and the only answer I got was that perhaps it was the way which google was choosing to handle the functionality. I think the feature where you can click on an address in your Google Calendar (and it should work on your Iphone Calendar as well), and it comes up in the Iphone Maps application, is completely necessary, as the map in safari is basically worthless. I had previously bragged about this feature, and now it's gone?! BRING IT BACK!

ICloud Calendar ical URL not valid

I'm using webcal:// url from icloud in order to share my icloud calendar in google agenda. I use https://icaltogcal.com/ as a proxy. For a couple of weeks it does not seem to sync any more.
I tried several things (recreate, change the proxy etc), without result.
Then i checked the webcal URL with http://severinghaus.org/projects/icv , told me that the URL was invalid.
Maybe they changed something ? Does anyone have the same usage and problem ?

ICloud calendar on mac not syncing to iPhone (very well)

Hi. I have recently switched from Google calendar to purely using my iCloud calendar. I created brand new iCloud calendars. Imported the events from Google calendars and it seemed mostly to work. The events seem the same on my iMac as on my iPhone. However, it seems to be very slow. For instance. I just added a test event on my mac iCloud calendar and am still waiting (half an hour later) for it to show up on my iphone. I thought iCloud was meant to be instant. I don't get why there is such a delay.

On the Mac, open Calendar/Preferences/Accounts/Account Information. Make sure the Refresh Calendars rate is set to "Push"
On the IOS devices: Settings/Mail, Contacts, Calendars/Fetch New Data: Push

Icloud calendar invite lotus notes

Ever since I migrated from MobileMe to iCloud last week, my calendar invites from both my iPhone and my iMac are no longer readable by Lotus Notes (my wife). This is, obviously, a big problem!
I searched the Google-verse and do not see any other mention of this.
Am I alone?

I decided to open a real problem, so I went to Support.Apple.com and within a few short clicks, Apple called me.
I accidentally hung up on them, and they called back in 2 minutes.
I then waited in the queue for a few short minutes. The person who answered, understood my problem and transferred me to the iCal department where I waited another 15 minutes.
The iCal department then did some research for 10 minutes, and came back to tell me that, unfortunately, iCal is working / not broken. I disagreed, saying that this is my business computer and not being able to send meeting invites to anyone not using a MAC is insane.
The support guy suggested I tell the developers directly, via http://www.apple.com/feedback/ical.html.
I already did that.
He suggested that you all do to. The more people who feedback, the faster we'll get a fix!

HT4901 i can´t get the iCloud Calendars to work

Contacts
First check that all your settings are correct, that contact syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your contacts are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking contact syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling contact syncing.
Calendars

You can only share a read/write calendar with another iCloud member. You can share a read-only calendar with a non-member: the recipient can subscribe to it in iCal. Just get them to open an iCloud account if they have Lion on their Mac.

ICloud calendar syncing working only one direction. help

I'm using iCloud to sync with my calendar. However, I can only see the events that I post using my laptop. I can't see the appointments I create directly from my iPhone. Can anyone help me figure this out?

Why printing from Maverick towards a 1.4.x CUPS running on RedHat won't work? Used to work, not anymore once upg to Maverick

Recently upgraded to Maverick just to discover that we can no longer print to CUPS. We have the following config
Maverick --> CUPS 1.4 (RHEL 6.x) (RAW Queue) --> Lexmark 460dn

Both windows and Linux can still print through CUPS and so do a bunch of Mountain Lions or even older OSX installs. Maverick though will put the printer into an endless gibberish print mode (gotta reset the printer). Tried deleting and adding the printer again; bringing in the latest drivers from Lexmark; install a new generic printer, both PS and PCL; install from the CUPS web interface; install a different CUPS 1.5 on a different Linux box and share the very same printer; neither made any difference.
Hooking Maverick directly via USB will print and the CUPS 1.4 acts just a simple "pass the buck" because of the RAW queue definition, so anybody with a hint?

I have a similar problem, using an HP Laserjet 1100, attached to a networked Windows XP machine .
When looking at the cups log, I found the following problems ( put in bold )
in the /private/etc/cupds.conf file, related to this printer :

Email syncing WAS working, not now

I have 2 emails addresses set up on BB and they were syncing fine yesterday. Now today nothing. Usually when I turn on m BB in the a.m. the email messages just pop right up. Nothing today. I haven't changed any settings, so does anyone have any idea what could be the problem? I'd been to each email, done the "Options" thing, been to "Email reconciliation" and checked everything. All settings look correct. Wireless reconciliation is turned on.
Could this have anything to do with daylight savings time that didn't happen this weekend? I just read something saying I'm going to have to go through some process in order for my BB to understand the time change. Please tell me that ain't so!

Restart your iOS device.
Delete the affected email account from your device.
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Choose the affected email account, then tap Delete Account.
Add your account again.

ICloud calendar has disappeared from Outlook 2007

Hi folks,
I've been searching the net and discussions for my particular problem and can't find it and I don't have a lot of time. Here goes.
I moved from MobileMe to iCloud a few weeks ago and have my calendar and contacts etc sync with my iPhone, iPad and PC running Windows 7 and Outlook 2007. The setup went like a dream and has been running for some time now without issue, until yesterday. I went to copy and past a duplicate appointment in my Work in iCloud calendar in Outlook, something I've done many times. This time a warning message appeared saying I'm not authorized to do this or something, I didn't really read it and just clicked to get rid of it. Next thing all my appointments in Outlook disappeared.Everything is still on my iOS devices and in the cloud.
Now, if in Outlook I add an appointment to the iCloud calendar, it lets me fill in details and when I click save there is nothing, BUT the appointments are syncing with the cloud and my other devices.
If I right click the calendar and copy it to the Outlook default calendar, I get a new calendar in the .PST folder called work and ALL my appointments show up. So the appointments are there, just not showing up locally on the iCloud calendar.
I've followed instructions in the article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3999 but no luck. I've signed into Outlook as an administrator then disabled the iCloud add-in, closed and restarted Outlook and enabled the add-in - no luck. My iCloud calendar is not visible in Outlook but the appointments do seem to be there.
My contacts and reminders from the cloud are still in Outlook and syncing across all devices including PC.
Can anyone figure this out?

I've now solved this myself. I tried repairing iCloud control panel but that didn't work so backed up my contacts and copied thec"invisible" calendar into Outlook's default calendar then backed it up. Then I uninstalled iCloud control panel and closed iCloud in Outlook, closed it and reinstalled iCloud control panel. It set everything up fresh again and hey presto, the iCloud calendar was visible in Outlook.
Tidied up a few merge conflicts and I'm back to where I was a few days ago with everything syncing across all devices including PC. The whole job took less than an hour.

TS4118 copied default calendar to icloud calendar

I copied my default calendar to icloud calendar by mistake and now i need to get back my icloud calendar

what i did: my icloud calendar was only displaying in list view. so I copied it and pasted it back into my icloud calendar. that didnt work. so I then exported my default calendar and then imported it into my icloud calendar and it deleted my icloud appointments on the icloud itself, removing them from my phone and i do not icloud back up, just to my computer (which was on 12/30). I have icloud on my home computer and my work computer. I am using my home computer and hoping that I can upload my work computer to the icloud and get back my newly added appointments.
any thoughts on how to recover?
