ICloud calender problem

Hi!
I just set up the icloud on my macbook pro and now all my local calenders are deleted. Any suggestions how to get them back? And how can I restore them from my time machine backup without deleting all my lately done settings for icloud?

You'd need to disable iCloud for calendars Quit calendar and use time Machine to restore the Calendars folder from a time before the calendars were deleted to present.

Problems viewing icloud calender on laptop

I can view my icloud calender on iphone and ipad and shared calender devices, but not on my windows Laptop or when i login to icloud on the internet - why is this ?

Here is a screen shot of my iCal on my MacBook. As you can see it has my list of iCloud calendars. All of which I need to view. It's working fine on my MacBook. One side note is that under Calendar - iCloud - the only calendar with the little "sharing" icon on the right of it is "Lisa" which is the only one that is showing up in my iPhone.
Here is a screenshot of my iPhone iCal calendars:
As you can see the only calendar of Lisa's that is there is the "Lisa" calendar.
Do you think that may be why? And if so how do I fix it?

ICloud Calender and Meeting invites

Hi.
I have a mobile me email address which i have migrated to icloud.
I receive meeting invites to my @me.com email address which have been generated by others using Microsoft Exchange
I use my iphone and PC to move these invites into the icloud calender
However when I attempt to move the invite to the icloud calender, it moves the invite to a different time and day from the original request.
I am then unable to move the meeting request in icloud calender, nor accept the meeting request.
Has anybody else encountered this problem and found a solution ?

TS3999 Outlook and iCloud calender

My PC is not updated with the changes I made to iCloud calender through iPad/iPhone. Events entered through Outlook is not shown up in iCloud and hence not in iPhone/iPad. Can anyone help? Thanks

i am facing the same problems. i have an ipad and an iphone and they do not sync with my mac and pc (outlook).
i even disabled the icloud setting "calender and reminders" in the icloud control panel and when setting the checkmark again, there was an error message that there is no connection to the icloud servers.
basically there is no sync between my mobile devices and my imac / pc.
i tried all tips on the net but didnt get it running again...
can anyone help?

Deleting entire icloud calender

Hi, I have a problem after resets of my iPhone calender inputs duplicating onto iCloud. How do I delete ALL the the entries on the iCloud calender so I can resync and start again? I use week cal not the default iPhone cal as it suits my need better.

Icloud calender showing an hour's difference between two shared calenders

My icloud calender, shared with my boss, is showing the correct time at my end but his calender shows it as an hour later.
I have an LG desktop. The 'London Time' settings are correct on my computer and iphone (which is where my calender is linked to). The times showing on my iphone are the same wrong ones showing up on his calendar so it's just my deskptop icloud calender showing the correct times.
Any thoughts please

Did you check System Preferences>Notifications for Calendars to make sure the Calendar Alert Style isn't set to None?
You might also want to check your calendar preferences on icloud.com to be sure "in-app notifications" is checked (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mma527d46).

That's what I did... switching on iCloud calender in the panel leads to the following: The existing local Outlook calendar gets mved to an new iCloud calendar.Thus the local calendar is empty.
Given that iTunes dows not allow my whife's phone to be synced with that iCloud calendar (only the local acalendar appears in the list of available calendars in iTunes; syncing all dioes not include the iCloud one) this leads to an empty alendar on my whife's phone.
Hence the question how to
a) get iTunes to include the iCloud calendar to sync with the iPhone 2g (preferred) or
b) enable a local MS Outlook internal sync between the two calendars.

Sync iCloud Calender with iPhone 2g

Hi!
I am using an iPhone with iOS5 and have the iCloud Calendar enabled. That isworking fine with my iTunes (central instance for 6 iPods and 2 iPads and 2 iPhones based on windows XP and using MS Outlook 2007).
Everything is working fine but not the iPhone 2g from my wife. indeed she loves the device and does not want to change it. And she does not really need an online calendar. However she does need my calendar information on her phone.
To my experience iTunes only can sync the local calendar to an iPhone 2g. Unfortunately switching on iTunes Outlook did (what makes sense) all calendar data to the iCloud and cleared the local calendar which leads to an empty calendar on the iPhone 2g.
Is there any way to get the iCloud calendar synched to the iPhone of my wife?
I would have no issue to implement any kind of macro in MS Outlook or similar however I would prefer to get iTunes to include the iCloud Calendar in the list of calendars to sync via cable. Where could I allow iTunes to do so???

TS4118 Ever since I got the iphone 5 my phone/icloud calender and contacts will not remain synced with Outlook. I am constantly having to sign in and sign out and unlink and re link to Outlook.

Sounds like the Outlook plugin isn't working properly. You could try a couple of things:
Go to Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs, uninstall iCloud, the download and install the iCloud contol panel for Windows again from here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1455. Then sign back into your iCloud account and check your syncing settings again.
Uninstall iTunes and all of its components as by following this guide exactly: Windows XP or Windows Vista/7, then reinstall iTunes. You must follow this guide exactly or it will not be successful. (Uninstalling iTunes will only remove the application; it will not touch your iTunes library or data.) This will replace the Outlook plugin.
Then try your calendar again and see if it will sync properly now.

How delete all notifications all in once into iCloud Calender?

When I go into my iCloud Calender, I want to delete my 172 notifications but this is long one by one.
There is a way to delete all of them in once?
Or stop to get this notifications there?

Wrong time in iCloud calender?

I want to set up my icloud calender to be my default calender and sync with my phone but as I type events in in the icloud calender, they end up listing the times as wrong. I added an appointment I had at 9:20 but it shows up on the calender as 8:20 (if i click the event, it says 9:20)

If both files are held locally on the computer it looks like there is no problem however if you try and do it though icloud (ie your docs are saved on icloud) you dont get the "source" oprion besides the graph etc. Is this a but or a broken function due to the new implementation of icloud.

Really is not icloud that opens. It`s a message that says that icloud has problems to open with one specific account. This happens since I did the last actualization of the operator system open

You don't need to start a new thread - you just use the 'Reply' button at bottom right of the answering post. Anyway as you're here...
You should start by going to System Preferences (or is it called Settings in ML?)>iCloud and clicking the Sign Out button. Then sign back in again. Your iCloud data will disappear from your Mac when you do this (but not from the server) - it will reappear when you sign back in. Alternatively if the message identifies an account which is signed in at System Preferences>Mail, Contacts and Calendars you should log out and in there.

Icloud registration problems

I have recently brought a 4s and an ipad and i am trying to set up icloud. the problems come when i go to set it up. both the ipad and phone tell me that icloud requires an apple id that is an e mail address. therefore i have been to manage my apple id's on the laptop. however it will not let me use my email address as it says it is already in use, however i only have this e mail address as my primary e mail address on the apple account. Sadly i have had the same apple id and the same e mail address as the primary e mail from 2004. i just want to get it so that in the future i can use my phone and pad to its full potential which icloud will allow but i have hit a brick wall when it comes to this issue. Any help would be great

I logged into icloud and mistakenly unchecked the key chain box. Then tried to recheck it ended up with enter your apple password, then your security code and then the third one is a verification code sent to your phone number and thats the problem - have no idea what that code is or how to retrive it.
