ICloud contact cannot load, help!

Hi,
I logged into my iCloud account from my iphone/ipad, it loads 500+ contacts, if I delete or add any contacts, I was SUPPOSED to synce with iCloud contacts and delete or add contacts.  However, when I turn off contact sync and turn it back on again, the contacts loaded as if nothing was changed.
What's even more odd is when I log into iCloud.com, and click Contacts, it shows "Can't load contacts" (tried on Safari and all kinds of broswers, both OSX and Windows still the same).
This problem has been like this since my iPhone 4 til now my iPhone 5, I really want to sync my contact via iCloud.  Anyone know how I can fix this problem?   I have the contacts backedup, can I reset the contact?
Anyone can help?  Really appreciated!

All of a sudden I am now able to access calendar on icloud.com and entries on icloud calendar get pushed to iOS devices and iCal.
Entries on iOS devices are not pushed.
Entries on iCal get the following notification:
The server responded with an error.
The request for “New Event” in “Work” in account “iCloud” failed.
         The server responded with“400”
         to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation.
I also can't restore from back-up to icloud calendars on iCal
    Extremely frustrating!

  • TS4050 iCloud mail - "cannot load mail"

My me.com email stopped loading through Mac Mail - it kept asking for a new password but rejected my actual password. So I decided to try to get my mail through icloud.com on Safari but no luck... I can sign into iCloud but when I hit the mail icon, I get this:
    ISFATAL
    true
    APPLICATIONNAME
    mail
    TITLE
    Mail could not be loaded
    MESSAGE
There was a problem loading the application due to a possible network error or missing resources. Please try again.
    I tried Firefox, same problem.
When I try to check it on my iPhone, it just checks and checks and checks.  A test message sent to my me.com address from my gmail (which does work) never arrives.

I actually have this problem too, but mine started in June! So it's been about 3 months now that I haven't been able to access my iCloud email. I called Applecare LAST MONTH and the supervisor Mike told me that an account engineer would fix it. Mike then told me he would call in 1-2 business days to tell me what was going to happen, and guess what? No call.
iCloud Email has been having problems since last year. For Apple to constantly make mistake over an email client is simply embarrassing. I'm going to call Applecare again but I have a feeling I'll probably yell at them over the phone.

  • Icloud contacts wont load on iphone

Today i went to use an important number i had kept in notes on my phone... and it was gone.
I thought i'd accidently deleted it. - fair enough I thought.
I then realised that all my contacts were missing from my phone also.
I have signed in and out of icloud on the phone, turned on and off the features individually and at the very most I see a flash of my own contact before it all goes white and empty again.
I have checked both on icloud.com and on my adhoc mac mini server and my details, contacts etc still exist.
Anyone else having an issue like this? I Icloud having another fit?

contacts have came back... how weird.
    resolved I guess.

  • ICloud mail quit working simultaneously on all devices and iCloud cannot load Mail.

3:00 pm eastern time iCloud mail account on all devices (MacBook Pro, iPad, iPhone) went to spin mode and and says "this account appears to be off-line due to a network problem.". But any attempt to take it online or to access iCloud online does not work.  iCloud says "cannot load mail", and then allows me to report the problem to Apple which I have done over and over again.  Looks like a major iCloud problem. Anybody else having this problem?

Down in Washington DC too (on the web-site and in all IMAP clients), since about noon, local time. The "All services are online" at <http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/systemstatus/> looks quite annoying. Especially, since there are multiple threads reporting the same problem, all over the country and even abroad (UK).

  • Icloud won't load on chrome

    Hey
Something very strange is happening with icloud and Google chrome browser. Suddenly, icloud website cannot load on chrome. It is stuck on the grey background with the loading sign on loop.
I tried to clean all browser data; I restored my PC to an earlier point, cleaned cash, cookies etc... Nothing works.
I tried to access icloud website from other PC and it worked fine, but when i tried to access it from my other desktop it did not loaded again. At the beginning, I thought it might be something to do with my chrome account so I logged out and tried again with no luck!
    It is really frustrating!!!!!
When I pressed F12 to debug the load process of the website, I found the following exception:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 401 (Unauthorized)
    https://setup.icloud.com/setup/ws/1/validate?clientBuildNumber=1P.80080&clientId =FBD117FF-8757-479C-AEC2-4EFCE4221B1F
error: "Invalid or missing Origin header",
    instance: "1329598861",
    success: false
btw, icloud works fine on iexplorer on my computer.
      Any ideas?!

I'm having the same issue. It makes me want to avoid apple cloud software. All my other e-mails work perfect without any problems... EVER. Only icloud gives me problems. E-mail is too important for this kind of stuff. BTW, the tech support via phone is not helpful. I'm better off reading the forums.

  • I lost my handset and now have a replacement but when I try to backup from icloud I get a message saying 'cannot Load Backups' Can anyone help?

I lost my handset (iphone 4s) and now have a replacement but when I try to restore from icloud I get a message saying 'cannot load backups'. Can anyone help?

Unless you've tried to install an older version of iTunes that message likely indicates a corrupt library file. See Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash...

  • ICloud Mail issues: "Cannot Load Mail" and "Cannot Get Mail"

I'm currently experiencing issues when trying to access iCloud Mail which is visible in two places:
      - on a iOS device (iPad and iPhone): when opening Mail.app and trying to check my iCloud Inbox:
"Cannot Get Mail" "The user name or password for 'iCloud' is incorrect."
       - on http://www.icloud.com: when clicking the Mail icon:
"Cannot Load Mail" "Help Apple improve iCloud by reporting this problem." [Reload] [Report to Apple] [Close Mail]
Oddly enough synching Contacts and Calendar items works fine on the iOS device (so username and password are obviously correct), and logging onto http://www.icloud.com using these credentials with use of all other application icons (Contacts, Calendar, Find my iPhone) seems to work also.
I created a "free" me.com account to enable "Find my iPhone" when iOS 4 was released (which doesn't include mail), and already had a Apple ID. Presumably these got merged now, maybe contributing to the issue?
iCloud is only available to me through the web or my iOS devices, I currently don't have Lion installed.
    Suggestions?

I am in the exact same boat:
I was a MobileMe subsciber who migrated to iCloud
MobileMe ID was [email protected]; Apple ID [email protected]
All iCloud services work as intended EXCEPT mail
I can access iCloud Mail by:
    Mail.app in Lion
When I access my iCloud mail on my iOS devices, I get "The user name or password for 'iCloud' is incorrect."  I know for a fact the password is correct, and all other services work.
When I access iCloud online, again all services EXCEPT mail work.  Here, I get the "Cannot Load Mail." message
Has anyone resolved this; or is this an Apple issue?  This is driving me crazy.

have an iPad 2. It synced all my information from my Android to the ipad.  I cannot get my calender on my ipad to sync with iCloud.  Can anyone help?

Okay, this is interesting, because I was under the impression that FOR IOS DEVICES, contacts are NOT included in a backup, since they are already on icloud (in the contact database).  And since you erased the contacts, then they are gone for good.  One recommendation I've read about is, assuming you have a computer like a Mac also connected to the same icloud account, you can get the contacts back from a backup of the computer, like Time Machine.  However, I don't know where you'd look for that file or files (even though the contacts are stored centrally on icloud, I'm guessing they are also stored locally in a cache file).
I think another suggestion made here (IIRC) is to turn off syncing of contacts (on the device), then do a restore.  Since there's no sync, icloud's empty contact database will not overwrite the local contacts on the deviced.   Again, I may not be remembering correctly.  Some of these older posts about this same problem were some time ago.
I'd welcome anyone who really knows the details on this to add to the discussion here.  This is an issue faced by many posters.

  • ICloud - Cannot Load mail

    Okay, here's the issue:
I have MacBook Pro early 2k8 now running 10.7.2
iPad 2 and Iphone 4 both running IOS5.
Setup iCloud access via iPhone 4 (first device to be upgraded).
Can log in to iCloud.com with both my apple ID or the .me address I had to setup as part of the sign up process. - both are showing verified at appleid.apple.com
However, whilst Conacts, Calendar, Find my iPhone and iWork all work fine, i cannot for the life of me, get email working.
On my IOS devices I get an error - Cannot get mail - The user name of password for "iCloud" is incorrect.
And on iCloud i get a pop up which says - Cannot Load Mail - and then it gives me options for Reload, Report to Apple or Close mail.
I've tried changing the password at appleid and on my devices. No change.
I do note that in system prefs on the macbook - when I select mail for iCloud and in mail prefs, it shows as starting - then the checkbox appears, however if I leave system prefs and return to it, the check box is unchecked. ???
    Any help greatly appreciated!!!

I am having the following problems with mail:
At icloud.com, I can logon and use other apps, but not mail. Mail keep crashing.
On both my iPad and iPhone, I can no longer receive mail for my  me.com address.
I had migrated over from MobileMe, looks like we have a BlackBerry situation at iCloud.com too!

  • Icloud cannot load messages

    Dear All,
    Can anyone help please?
I have tried and tried and tried to load messages held in my inbox from iCloud, but without success. It repeatedly gives me a 'Cannot load messages' error. This is definitely apple's problem as I have tried with 3 different devices (one android, one windows and one mac).
Does anyone know why or more important how I can load my own email messages within my inbox using iCloud?
I want to search for an email receive 6 months ago and I know it is there but can't connect to the server to search the inbox.
Please help stop the frustration (this isn't the first time its happened!)
    Cheers

"load storage plan" make no sense at all.  What do you mean by that?  Are you unable to buy more storage?  What error messages are you getting?

I tookyour suggestion and SUCCESS!  I can now access the Itunes Store.  A simple fix, and thanks so much!!.
Below is the advice you forwarded:
I found a solution to my problem.
    > start menu
    > accessories,
    > right click on the command prompt icon and choose "run as administrator".
Once it opens, type in the following command...
    netsh winsock reset
    hit enter
You should get a message that the winsock reset successful and you will need to reboot your computer.
Reboot and when I reloaded itunes the store loaded fine.
    Thanks again, -Dean Stoneburner
