Icloud Control Panel 3.1 not working in Windows 8.1/Outlook 2013

Every time I start the Icloud Control Panel, I get the message: "Repair the Icloud Control Panel to use Icloud with Outlook".  I have Outlook 2013, and windows 8.1 pro 64 bit.  Needles to say contacts are not being sincronyzed between Icloud and Outlook.  Contacts and mail sinc does not work also in itunes.
Repairing the Icloud control panel does not solve the issue.  If I say repair later, then this is what I get:
Any ideas?
Thank you.

  • ICloud Control panel absolutely doesn't work

    So I downloaded iCloud Control Panel on my PC with Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and it doesn't work. It doesn't recognize that I have Microsoft Outlook, even though it's Outlook 2007, It doesn't merge the bookmarks and I can't activate Photo stream because this option on iCloud Control Panel is all grayed out. Here is a screenshot: http://img64.imageshack.us/img64/3097/icloude.png
    So what can be blocking iCloud Control Panel? I don't use any antivirus software, so that's not a problem. I also tried to use the iCloud control panel in my sisters notebook and it works perfectly.

    I went to the ICloud Control Panel 2.1 to enable iCloud photos, the area to put a ck mark is grayed out and won't let me enable it.

    Please help me to get my iCloud photos enabled on my desktop.

    Hello,
    You might not have the plugin for Firefox installed. Adobe has two different versions of Flash - one for Internet Explorer and another for Firefox. Internet Explorer uses ActiveX. You can check if Firefox has the plugin by going to:
    * Tools > Add-ons > Plugins, or
    * [Image: New Fx Menu] > Add-ons > Plugins
    In Firefox, go to this link and Adobe should give you right correct installer:
    * https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
    If for whatever reason it is not choosing the correct OS for you, you can manually select Windows Vista and "Other Browsers" here:
    * https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/

  • Cannot login from Windows iCloud control panel, but that not all...

    I set up my Apple Id and downloaded the Windows iCloud control panel, but when I try to sign in from my PCI get this message: "You can't sign in because of a server error." But when I check the status of icloud everything is operational. But if I go to the icloud page directly, I can sign in normally. The reason this is an issue is that I cannot setup icloud on my computer properly and with all of the options I want without signing in from the icloud control panel. This really bites, and any help would be appreciated immensly.
    Thanks, Scott

    I am having the same problem. I really need a solution. My Admin is flying blind without being able to see my calendars.

  • Is there a way to protect the iCloud control panel access with a password in Windows 7?

    I have MS Outlook sync'd with my iCloud services in my Windows7 office PC (I'm pushing for Macs, but quite there yet, unfortunately!), and I have it password protected so nobody else can access my files. However, the iCloud app in Control Panel doesn't have any password protection so it can be messed with at any moment. Is there any way to protect it, or are there any plans to include this feature in future updates?

    Same here, I use iCloud on an office PC.
    I would like to password protect the access to the iCloud Control Panel. Is there a way to do that? I can either "Sign in" or "Sign Out."
    if I sign out I can't add iCloud calendar to Outlook. If I stay signed in, IT could easily activate my personal iCloud mail.
    Ideally, there should be a checkbox to just add calendar and leave mail, contacts and task out all together.
    Thanks.

  • Control panel and Console not working

    Hi,
    I have installed various Java Runtime Environments, all of which run applets flawlessly. There is one problem though, I need to enter an application that needs a certificate for security, and the dialog opens as a blank screen. I'm not positive, but it is similar to when I open the control panel and the console; a blank screen. Is there a way to fix the control panel and console so it doesn't show up as a blank screen, short of reinstalling the OS? I am thinking if I fix the control panel, it might fix the security dialog.
    System: XP SP1

    I have noticed that when i maximize a window that is blank ( i.e. the console or java web start) the screen refreshes and the window is displayed.

    Hi Hussein,
    Yes, I am able to print seed concurrent report (o/p -text) to that printer (method:- giving the printer name and copies by clicking " Option " in SRS window.. )
    When i do the same for xml publisher publisher report to the same printer , its not working using bursting control file.
    I too made the test in xml publisher report without bursting control file , there i faced another new issue. Let me explain
    1. We are using RDF as data source . here o/p :-" XML "
    2. We are using RTF as layout. In template definition, i chose the default o/p type as :- "HTML"
    3. When i submit the request, i choose the printer which is working fine for printing seeded report. (method:- giving the printer name and copies by clicking " Option " in SRS window.. )
    4. My printer getting prints HTML tag, instead of desired o/p. I wondered after seeing the printout.
    5. I cross checked by clicking view output, its showing me the exact html output as per RTF layout.
    Dont know wat happening ??? Help me out.
    i did the same for changing default output type in template definition to RTF,PDF.. its printing source code of the output type instead of printing output.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Lync presence coloured square not working when sending email in Outlook 2013

    OK, I'm running Lync 2013 & Outlook 2013.
    When I send an email from Outlook the small Lync presence icon that appears in the "To" field after you type the user your sending the email to does not appear.  You get the user name but where the coloured square should be it's just white
    (like the background colour).
    If I hove the mouse pointer over the user name the pop-up contacts box shows the Lync presence correctly.
    At the bottom of the new email window, the Lync presence is always shown correctly.
    This happens for users with or without pictures set as their Lync icon.
    I've completed a repair of the Office install without success.  Also uninstalled Lync & Office and re-installed but still no joy.  Also tried creating new Outlook profile but this didn't work.
    If I create a brand new Windows 7 profile, and then create a new mail profile it works fine.  So, it must be a user profile problem.  Hopefully someone can point me to a registry key or something as I'd rather not go through the pain of migrating
    to a new user profile.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    If we need to show the Online status for contacts, just go to FILE tab ->
    Options -> People -> check Display online status next to name ->
    OK.
    Please also try the steps below:
    Lync -> Options -> Personal -> Under
    Personal information manager -> Select None ->
    OK.
    Go to Outlook, People, Right click on Lync Contacts and
    Delete Folder.
    Then go back to Lync to the same options, choose Microsoft Exchange or Microsoft Outlook, go back to Outlook let the Lync contacts sync again to check the result.

  • ICloud Control Panel Win7 64bit Not Downloading Pics

    I installed the application twice now and when I select Photostream to download locally it takes only 380 photos. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it did nothing. I disabled UAC also before the second reinstall. Then I manually deleted all the photos in the photostream folder and it downloaded the same 380 photos. Is there a reason that it is not downloading all of them? I have about 1,100 on the photo stream tab on my iphone and ipad. Any help would be great!
    Thanks.

    Yes I understand those limitations but it says that when you download them locally it will keep all of them. So it should download the first 1000 pics right away then add to it as I take more. Right now its doing random, sometimes 82, sometimes 0, sometimes 380 etc. Now for the last 14 hours I recreated the folder and I am getting nothing downloaded. I know for a fact I have taken at least 800 photos in the last 2 weeks across my 4 devices that all use the same photostream. I can see all the photos on all 4 devices so I know they are definitely in the stream. I just need to know how to get them downloaded onto my win 7 box before I lose them.

  • TS4403 Icloud Control Panel for Vista?

    I understand that Icloud control panel 2.1.2 works for Windows Vista.  When I try to download from Apple, it provides me with Control Panel 3.0, which requires Windows 7 or 8.  How can I download Control Panel 2.1.2 that will work with Vista?  Ultimately my goal is to automatically sync my contacts between gmail, ipad, and outlook on my PC.

    I uploaded icloud 2.1.2 to a free file hosting site.  I have it saved on my back up HDD.  Here is the file link

  • ICloud Control Panel does not recognize Outlook

    I installed the iCloud Control Panel but it doesn't seem to be recognizing Outlook.  In the Control Panel header, it says "Install Outlook to use Mail, Contacts and Calendars.  Outlook 2010 is installed and the iCloud Outlook Add-In is installed and running.

    I have the same setup as sceloglaux (Win 7 64 bit Home, iPhone 3GS, Outlook 2010).
    I tried a reboot, uninstall, reboot again, disable and close anything I can, then reinstall. Still the same problem.
    Athough I'm not sure if I got this message before:
    Outlook Setup Error
    Your setup couldn't be started because of an unexpected error.
    Clicking the report button brings up my profile dialog box, then I choose my profile and it just goes back to the error dialog. Try again does the same thing.
    sceloglaux - it sounds like you got it working. Care to enlighten us on what steps you took?
    Do I need to have an me.com e-mail account set up first? I don't want to sync e-mail, just calendar and contacts. I tried setting up e-mail in case that's the missing link, but I'm having trouble with that as well (separate thread, probably server issues).
    Thanks.

  • ICloud Control Panel not staying resident

    I have installed iCloud Control Panel on 3 different PCs, each running Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium. I got everything working, while my wife was at work, and I wanted to show her how she could snap a picture and it would show up on her PC. I had set it up for her phone on her computer and my phone for both my laptop and desktop. I initially tried using her phone (iPhone 3GS), which has been having peculiar problems (which is an entirely different issue). I took a picture with her phone and after several minutes of nothing, I decided to show her on my phone and computer, since I KNEW that was working. I took a picture with my phone (iPhone 4). Again, nothing popped up on my computer. I finally realized that the iCloud Control Panel was no longer working on my desktop. I then went to my wife's computer and it was no longer working on her desktop. The laptop still had the control panel interface open (as opposed to only showing up in the taskbar at the bottom right of screen.)
    Has anyone else experienced iCloud shutting itself down?

    Can anyone tell me if there is a way (besides opening each yahoo event and switching it on the iphone to an icloud calendar) to transfer my yahoo calendar to an icloud calendar??
    There is not, Vista or Lion are the minimum requirements, use Yahoo's sync services instead.
