ICloud Control panel shows "Mail with Outlook" only

Hi,
my iCloud Control panel (2.1.1) shows "Mail with Outlook" only, since i removed an ticked the check box twice.
Should be "Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and Tasks with Outlook".
So i did receive Mails from my iCloud account, but no syncing for Contacts, Calendars, and Tasks.
Does anybody know how to restore the full functionality ?
Thank you
  Wolfgang

I have the same setup as sceloglaux (Win 7 64 bit Home, iPhone 3GS, Outlook 2010).
I tried a reboot, uninstall, reboot again, disable and close anything I can, then reinstall. Still the same problem.
Athough I'm not sure if I got this message before:
Outlook Setup Error
Your setup couldn't be started because of an unexpected error.
Clicking the report button brings up my profile dialog box, then I choose my profile and it just goes back to the error dialog. Try again does the same thing.
sceloglaux - it sounds like you got it working. Care to enlighten us on what steps you took?
Do I need to have an me.com e-mail account set up first? I don't want to sync e-mail, just calendar and contacts. I tried setting up e-mail in case that's the missing link, but I'm having trouble with that as well (separate thread, probably server issues).
Thanks.

    I have installed iCloud on windows 7 64-bit. after installation it asked if I want to sync with outlook my mail , contacts etc. so I selected the option to sync and clicked apply.
    The program said that it needs to setup mail, contacts etc with outlook 2013 and the loading gif started to work , then I click on close .

    am I missing something here?
    PS. I tried to uninstall and re install icloud control panel with the same effect.
    Kindly can anyone help

    In Outlook 2013, I navigated to "People" and copied the contacts that I wanted to sync from the "Contacts" folder to the "Search Results" folder (<ctrl>+[drag and drop] to folder in left hand Folder pane).
    iTunes then synchronised those contacts (only) fine.

  • Icloud Control Panel on windows with multiple outlook calendars,contacts syncing with multiple i-devices

    I have one windows vista PC with Microsoft outlook with two calendars and two contacts ( family and work in each case).   My wife syncs her ipad 2 via icloud and I am about to buy an iphone but as much as I have tried I cannot find out how to sync from one set of calendar and contacts (family to my wife's ipad) and separately the other calendar and contacts (work) to my iphone via icloud (or any other way efficiently) off the same PC.   Although I have found lots of these similar sorts of issues on the forum, to my surprise I have not found this exact issue and so I have not yet found the solution.   Any help appreciated!

    Hello desert_dweller5,
    It sounds like you art trying to access a Shared Photo Stream, but you do not have one of the devices to enable your Apple ID as an iCloud account.  The following article provides information on how Shared Photo Streams work:
    iCloud: Photo Stream FAQ
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4486
    The article states that for privately Shared Photo Streams to work, the recipient will not only have to have an Apple ID, but it will have to be an iCloud account:
    Friends and family with iCloud accounts can view your photos in the Photos app on any device using iOS 6 or later; on a Mac in iPhoto 9.4 or Aperture 3.4 or later; on a Windows PC with Windows Vista or later and iCloud Control Panel 2.0 or later installed; or on a second generation or later Apple TV with software version 5.1 or later installed. They can also view your photos on the web if you enable Public Website in the settings or options for your Shared Photo Stream.
    Since you do not have an iCloud account and just and Apple ID, your friend can share the photo stream as a public website so that you can view it, as stated in the same article:
    Can I share with people who don't have an iCloud account?
    Yes. If you enable Public Website in the settings or options for your shared photo stream your photos will be published to a website that anyone can view in an up-to-date web browser.
    To be able to change an Apple ID to an iCloud account, you would need an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 5 or later or a Mac with OS X Lion v10.7.4 or later as stated in the following article:

    My mobilMe account is working in Outlook, notes from my iPone and iPad are shared, but there 's no entry for contacs or agenda.
    When I open iCloud control panel the checkbox for mail, contact and agenda are grayed out.
    To be honnest I had the same problem with the mobileMe contol pannel, and never had it working. (I logged out mobilme contol panel)
    What do I need to do to share my iCloud agenda in outlook and copy my outlook contacts in iCloud?
    so... Help please!
    Mario

    Appreciate the response.  I am familiar with the server settings.  I used them to manually make things work for a short amount of time.  Then problem re-started.
    My PW is correct.  I can log into iCloud from the web and it works on my other Apple devices.
    Not sure what else to try.  SOme posts suggest others having a similar problem.

  • Mail, Contacts, Calendar not available on iCloud Control Panel on my Win 7 PC for Outlook sync

    I have loaded iCloud Control Panel 4.0 on my PC (Win 7 64)

  • ICloud Control Panel - Outlook 2007

    My Outlook 2007 crashes constantly after Update to iCloud Control Panel 3.0 for Windows (Windows 7)!
    What can i do?

    Hi everyone. I have been working this same problem for some time now. This PC is Win8 with MS Outlook 2010. After repeatedly repairing and reinstalling the iCloud Control Panel - you'd think I would have realized this approach wasn't going to work. Finally I did!
    To fix the problem, uncheck all iCloud selections, Remove all iCloud references in Outlook and then enable iCloud mail. Later you can enable Books and Photos.
    More explicitly;
    In the iCloud Control Panel uncheck Mail Book and Photos
    Click Apply and then click Close.
    Next open MS Outlook
    Go to Outlook Account Settings, remove all references to iCloud.
    Close Outlook.
    Reopen the iCloud Control Panel, nothing should be checked.
    Check “Mail, Contacts, ...”
    Click apply
    iCloud started configuring Outlook. J
    Hope this works for you.

  • ICloud control panel crashes Outlook 2013

    Hi everyone,
    last week I installed the latest verson of the iCloud control panel (3.0). The only thing doesn't works is the add-in for Outlook. Outlook 2013 allways crashes when the add-in is activated. Before the update is used the latest second generation version of the iCloud control panel and everything was fine. Even "repair" didn't help me to fix the problem.
    Does anybody a way to help?

    Your first question should be researched on Microsoft's support forums.  This may get you started as it discusses how to create and configure an Outlook profile: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/829918.
    On your second question, to change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.  If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

  • Reinstalled icloud control panel for pc and lost contact with contacts and calendar

    I downloaded OS5 for my iphone and the new upgrade for my macbook air.  Things worked great yesterday with everything pointing to Icloud.   I could not open Outlook 2010 this morning.  I uninstalled iCloud Control Panel.  I got Outlook to open, but it cannot see iCloud and all contacts and calendars are gone and I have no icloud file to point to. How do I reistablish the link?

    It stopped working, most probably after the last update of 31st December 2012. I'm not sure though. First time sync works both ways. Calendar items from both iCloud and Outlook appeard in both sides after the first, manual, sync.
    All updates from Windows and MS Office are installed (that can also messed everything up btw)

  • ICloud control panel works with 1 ID but not with another

    I don't get what the issue is. I can't get the iCloud control panel to work with my itunes/iCloud ID. I am running Windows 7 home premium 64-bit. I logged in with my wife's iCloud account and it worked, logged out and tried to use mine and nothing. It just sits there and the little circle next to "sign in" just spins.
    I downloaded the newest update for the control panel and tried it again. Hers works, mine doesn't. This has been going on for about a  year and is really annoying.
    It is just on the control panel, my iCloud credentials work fine everywhere else (iCloud website, here, iPhone, iPad), so I know that is not the problem.

    Here's one way to simplify some of this code. I know that this has nothing to do w/ the original question, but nevetheless, it's an itch that I feel I have to scratch...
    public class ssnBoard extends JFrame implements ActionListener,
        Runnable
        JPanel pane = new JPanel();
        JButton[] numberBtns = new JButton[10];
        Font bigFont;
        Color[] numberButtonColors =
            Color.MAGENTA, Color.red, Color.pink, Color.blue, Color.yellow,
            Color.green, Color.yellow, Color.blue, Color.pink, Color.red
        JButton clear = new JButton("CLEAR");
        JButton cancel = new JButton("CANCEL");
        JTextField RutgersIDField = new JTextField("", 6);and this
            for (int i = 1; i < numberBtns.length; i++)
                pane.add(setUpNumberBtns(i));
            pane.add(setUpNumberBtns(0));
            clear.setFont(smallFont);
            Color c10 = Color.white;
            clear.setBackground(c10);
            clear.setForeground(Color.black);
            clear.addActionListener(this); // register button
            pane.add(clear);
            clear.setFocusable(false);and of course this:
        private JButton setUpNumberBtns(int i)
            JButton myBtn = numberBtns;
    myBtn.setFont(bigFont);
    myBtn.setBackground(numberButtonColors[i]);
    myBtn.setForeground(Color.black);
    myBtn.addActionListener(this);
    myBtn.setFocusable(false);
    return myBtn;

  • Problems: iCloud Control Panel 2.1.1 not allowing sync of contacts, calendar, remainders and notes

    I just installed Outlook 2013 today. Initally it was showing contacts calendars from my iCloud. Then i got a message that I could not have two outlooks on the computer and I needed to remove one of them. I did take off outlook 2007. Now the control panel does not give me an option to sync with outlook at all. It just tells me that mail contacts calendars reminders and notes are avilable at icloud.com.
    I hope to be able to get control panel and outlook to talk nicely again soon.
    any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I have a similar issue. I installed Office 2013 yesterday. iCloud 2.1.1.3 I thought was working - I could see the Add-On in Outlook and my contacts were showing correctly under people but it showed in the iCloud control panel that my email for icloud was not connected. I tried removing my iCloud account from Outlook with the intent to reconnect it via the iCloud Control Panel. Bad idea apparently--anytime I try loading the iCloud Control Panel it crashes office. I have reintalled the control panel, tried the office repair, tried enabling / disabling the add-ons, tired a seperate test Outlook profile--nothing works- I am no longer able to integrate the icloud features into Outlook.
    I am using Win 7 x64 SP1 with Office 2013 x32. iCloud Control Panel 2.1.1.3
    Update: I tried rolling back to a restore point from yesterday to at least get my contacts functioning again. No Luck- the accounts are there again but they are not connected and can't be opened. iCloud Control Panel still crashes Office/Outlook as seen above anytime I try to open it

  • ICloud Control Panel Issues

  • Beware: icloud control panel DOES NOT WORK for icloud email

    Opposing evidence is welcome. Please comment.
    After dozens of hours, emails and chat sessions with both MS and Apple tech support (the latter escalated as high as it could go - "after this we have to refer you to engineering"), I was finally told by Apple Senior Advisor Ciara Ferguson that icloud control panel does not properly sync icloud mail with Outlook 365 (Outlook 2013).  After several months of working on dual systems I discovered that many (but not all) changes to folder names and filing of emails in various folders made in Outlook were not reflected on icloud and vice versa.   Ms. Ferguson has stated that icloud control panel "works better with calendar and contacts."  Obviously, this non-committal statement is grossly insufficient.  It either works or it doesn't.  It doesn't.
    Allegedly, icloud control panel does work to sync other email (the example of an outlook.com email address was given) into apple devices.  This doesn't sound right to me either, since one can just add any POP or IMAP or Exchange account into a Mac device, so why would one need icloud control panel to interface?
    I remain stymied as to the actual purpose of icloud control panel, despite asking exactly that question of Ms. Ferguson on several occasions.  The Apple literature and its own setup screens suggest that it will sync email, contacts, calendar and notes with MS Outlook, but as to email, that is apparently untrue.

    I don't think so.  I'd like to sync photostream from two iPhones with distinct Apple IDs on our PCs and I don't see a way to do it.  It synced my wife's iPhone while she was logged in to iCloud control panel but not mine until I logged in (and disconnected her photostream PC syncing).
