ICloud deleted mail box

Hi guys
I seek your help and assistance in mail issue.
I have MBP 15", early 2011, 10.9.2 Mavericks. and I am uisng mail app. as my default email client for icloud, hotmail, yahoo and gmail emails. today I created a new email box I named it "Netflix" thinking that all the emails from Netflix will go to this inbox, the new mailbox falls under iCloud account and it contained all icloud emails including Netflix. Later I figured how to arrange the emails from "Netflix" into a separated folder, by hitting on the star bottom "VIP". So to clean the mess I made in Mail app. I deleted the new mailbox and suddenly all my emails were deleted even from www.icloud.com site and I couldnt figure a way to retrieve them back, help please as I have critical mails in it.

thanks again, I transferred all my email into icloud inbox, however I have another issue regarding itunes if you have experience in it, I cant restore it from timemachine (itunes app cant be modified or deleted as part from the os) as shown in the image below, even can reinstall the app so any suggestions

I am trying to maintain my inbox on my imac while not carrying around all my mail on my iphone. As of now, I only seem to be able to sync the inboxes. If I delete a mail on my iphone, it disappears on both the server and imac. I only seem to be able to make it move the mail to the deleted mail box and keep it there.

That's the way IMAP servers work. The messages really live on the server; the iPhone and the iMac just view them.

TS4002 I subscribed to serveral communities for email. I have over a thousand emails, now the mail box in icloud says I can't open my mail account. I have ML . I have been deleting little by little, can I delete it all?

I have tried deleteing all the mail, by selecting all to erase. I have done 5 at a time, 10 at a time by zooming out. Now I can not get into the mail box. I was sent a message saying I am not able to acess my mail. It is a me.com acct. I have 40gb of storage. Any suggestions of how to get rid of this mail? I don't want to give up my email address. Thanks. I did manage to stop all communty email and notifications. So no more email is coming. Again, thanks to anyone who can help me! An Alias would be an email address that is delivered to a different account's inbox.
For instance if you have [email protected] and have [email protected] Then [email protected] would be an alias if mails from that address arrive at the icloud address.
If you want to add a completely different account, with a spearate inbox, like an account in hotmail and one in say yahoo mail. Then as has been pointed out, you need to go into the Settings Icon, Tap on Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and then on add account. The iPad has several services preconfigured, you can tap on one of those from the list to setup an email for that service. Such as Hotmail, Gmail etc...
Or you can tap on other to add a personal pop3 or imap type email like from your office, or your school.

I changed my password for the primary email address on my iphone to log in with new PW i first deleted the account from my mail box,adding it again to mail box and icloud both does not show in the mail box...instead an exchange and already present yahoo account of mine stays there.How can I over come that.

Did you ever fix this problem? The same thing happened when I just changed my kids passwords and now can't access their mail on their iPods or my iPad but I use the same email provider and mine is fine however I did not change my password. If you fixed it how did you?

Delete mail from server after removed from IN BOX

I have a mail management issue I have not been able to fully solve.
I am balancing the same POP email accounts among the laptop using Mail (for home use) and my desktop using Eudora Pro (for work). Using Eudora, I can manually select to delete a message from the server. Eudora's manual deletions are flawless. Using Mail, the only option I can see that will help me do this is to select delete mail "When moved from In Box." If I hit the "delete" key, wouldn't that be the same as "moving if from the IN BOX?" When is the protocol actually carried out? On the next mail check? Immediately? Upon quitting and restarting Mail? I'm confused as to how this happens and why it does not seem to work all of the time.
Any and all assistance is most appreciated.

Yes, deleting a message counts as moving it out of
the inbox. The commands to remove the message from
the server are sent the next time you check mail from
that server, but only if there are new messages to be
received from the server. Yes, many of us feel that
is a bug in Mail, that it should send the remove from
server commands the next time you check mail, whether
or not there are new messages to be downloaded.
Oh Gawd, I bet that's it. Yes, if that is the case, I would agree. It does not lead to efficient mail management if there needs to be a new message there. Do you know of any plans to change or alter that? Or has someone written an AppleScript of some kind to execute the command regardless?
It's a great command, otherwise. It's nice to be able to delete a message off of one computer and have it delete off of the server without any extra hassle.
Just wondering if there are any workarounds out there other than sending oneself a new message to get the delete from server command to activate.

Can I Delete my Current Apple ID Account then Re-Create/Re-Register a New Version of It but Use the Same Apple Username & iCloud E-Mail Address I Had Before?

I already had an Apple ID before registering for iCloud e-mail.
This means that my Primary Apple ID is my @gmail.com e-mail address (the one I originally registered my Apple ID with), however I'd prefer that my Primary Apple ID were my new @iCloud.com e-mail address.
Yet, I already know that it is simply not possible to make my new @iCloud.com e-mail address my Primary Apple ID in any easy/simple sort of manner.
My understanding is, the only possible way I could use an @iCloud e-mail address as my Primary Apple ID now is to make a brand new Apple ID account. However, I want to keep/continue using my current @iCloud e-mail address and my Apple username (JRCSaunders) -- I don't want to have to choose a new @iCloud e-mail address or Apple username.
So basically what I'm wondering is if there is any possibility that I might be able to completely delete/erase my current Apple ID and then re-create a new Apple ID using my current/existing @iCloud.com e-mail addressas my Primary Apple ID and re-using the same Apple username I have now (JRCSaunders)?
I'm just trying to think of a work-around so that I can make my current/existing @iCloud e-mail address my Primary Apple ID, which does not seem possible without having to create an all-new Apple ID account. But I don't want to create a new account if it means having to change any of my current addresses/names/etc. to new/different ones. So, is what I described (deleting then re-creating using the same names/addresses/info) possible?

According to your descriptioin, I don't think this is system problem, it should be Intel driver problem. It would be contact Intel to confirm this issue whether this is their driver problem.

I'm having a similar but slightly different problem. My company just migrated to Gmail, and it's saving mail drafts every 30 seconds into my Trash folder.
I unchecked the "Show in IMAP" preference in the Gmail settings, but my Drafts folder completely disappeared. I went back and checked it and the folder reappeared (with my drafts still in there).
I like the idea if starting an email on my laptop and having the option of finishing it on my iPhone or iPad, so only saving Drafts locally would not be ideal.

I don't think you can delete it from your ID but you don't have to use it. Just go to Settings>iCloud and turn Mail off to remove the account from your phone.

sure pretty simple. make a backup of your current settings

then restore device from old backup you need pics off of
then import pics to computer

then restore the new backup and sync pics back to phone via itunes

if you know the password of the account, i think you can also access the mail using mail client, like you use outlook to deal with your company mail daily.

I've seen the opposite issue. My wife recieved an email with jpg attachments. She couldn't see or print them on her iPhone 4S but they showed up fine in iCloud or in the mail app. I had her forward the email to herself and then they showed up. I assume there is an issue with how Apple is processing the attachments and resending causes them to get reformatted in a way that makes them easier to handle.
So yeah. Seems like some bugs. Hope Apple fixes them soon.

My icloud emails arent arriving most of the time and a few days ago my iphone and ipad started showing "Can't Get Mail" box. This has not happened before since I set up the iclud email address with the purchase of my ipad about a month ago.

That's one of the weird things.. it recognizes it maybe 10% of the time. And usually, only after I do the two-button reset. Problem is.. since it won't charge above 2%, anytime I try to do a restore or anything like that using iTunes, my device shuts off and I lose whatever progress I'd made.
So, an update... after reading through a bunch of similar complaints (there are literally 1000's of them so there's NO WAY this isn't somehow ios7 related, thanks a lot APPLE ) I decided to try a restore in recovery mode. After 3 hours and several disconnections... I ended up having to just set it up as a new iPad, as the restore did nothing. Weirdly though... as I was doing the restore in recovery mode.. I noticed I'd gotten up to a 10% charge.. higher than it's been since September, so after setting it up as a new device, I turned it off and plugged it in using the wall charger. 2 hours later and I was up to 38%. Still not great, as my iPad, before ios7 could've fully charged twice in the amount of time it took for me to now get 28% more of a charge. And that's with a fully cleaned out device.. so that really ***** and I'm now more confused than ever.
But I'm gonna leave it overnight charging and see what I come up with tomorrow. Sadly, when I paid $600 for it in February, I never expected to have to play "wait and see" with it...
