Icloud e-mail not verified

I went to activate icloud on my ipad2 and it sent the verification e-mail to an e-mail address I no longer have access to.  How do I fix this?

Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account. Ask to have another verification email sent.

    Be sure you are checking the email account that you used to set up the Apple ID you used to create the iCloud account.  Also, be sure to check your spam/junk folder as well as your inbox.  The email you should receive looks like the image below.  When you get it, click the Verify Now link.
    If it still isn't there, try going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right look for a link to resend the verification email.

    Check your Mail rules and filtering, the verification mail may be going to a junk folder or even being deleted altogether. You may also wish to contact your mail provider to see if their spam filters are removing the email before it gets to you.

    After the migration I started having problems with all NON Apple things.
    Now, as of July, 6th this is my situation:

    With my HP (Palm) Pre 3 I am still figuring out why every single day they change the servers:
    this however might help you as the Palm is more similar to the BB than the iPhone:
    PALM PRE 3 SETTINGS: I also have updated the password on iCloud, deleted the old iCloud account on the Pre, created a new one. Please note that it now sends using the older server, I do not know for how long.

    Yes, I do have version 12 (and 9,10 & 11) - I tend to have lots of testing versions so that I can see what others are talking about when they have problems.
    Going from 10 to 12, at first I didn't like the new light backgrounds but I am now getting used to it. I think that the organizer has now better facilities providing you are using the tagging system. So far, the editor seems to be slightly better.
    Orginally I wasn't going to upgrade from version 11 because I didn't see many benefits for me but I gave in after a while. The jump from 10 to 12 would probably be a good value.
    Do you like version 12?
    Now to be honest, I have changed over to Lightroom for organizing my images and only use the Elements Editor to do the processing that I can't do with Lightroom. I find that was much better for me once I had picked up the basics of Lightroom.

    If you are completely confident that you didn't hide it, then you purchased those with different apple id. If you completely confident that you purchases with same apple id then you have hidden it. One of the other or you are speaking about a miracle. While miracles are possible they are not very likely.     I have had three main e.mail addiesfor several years.
    Two still work fine bur one will not verify and keeps asking for the correct password. Same as other two accts.
    Unable to send or receive messages for the Btinternet (myllawnroc) account. An incorrect password was entered. The next time you send or receive messages, you'll be asked to enter your user name and password for this account.

    If you have any anti-virus or other security packages, have a look at any of their settings to see if email scanning is turned on. If so, turn it off and see if that helps.
    You may like to edit the post to remove the account name, as this may be an email address portion ....

  • HT4528 My icloud acount is not verified.  When I checked the email address I had to Verify the account it was incorrect.  How do I change this so I can get icloud running?

    Good morning.  I recently got an iphone.  I went to the icloud, and it says account not verified, please go to this email address for instructions to verify.  The email listed is wrong.  I missed 2 numbers on it, and I cant figure out how to change it so I can verify this account.   Its listed as [email protected]  It should be [email protected],. PLEASE help.  Its all new and I dont know how to re-fix this.  Thank you.

  • Can't sign into icloud, says account not verified

    Ipod has been stolen, this morning have 4 emails from apple asking to verify account and one from icloud saying it was used to sign in on an iphone 4 which we don't have one of.  Went to go onto icloud to see if can locate ipod  but icloud says account is not verified.  Not understanding that seem got message from iclouc saying account was used this morning.????

    It appears as though your Apple ID, and through it your iCloud account, has been compromised. I would suggest that you change the password to that Apple ID as soon as you can. See this article for how to do so -

  • My iCloud account will not verify

    I am currently having troubles setting up iCloud between my devices.
    I have tried to verify iCloud on both my iPhone 4 and my iPad 2, both screens sit at "This account is not verified" and then states I need to check my email.
    Upon doing so, no email has been sent.
    I have tried temporarily deleting the iCloud account and starting over but nothing has worked.
    What should I do from here?
    ps: correct email address is there.

    The verification email should be sent to the primary email account you used when you set up your iCloud ID, not to your iCloud email account.  Check the spam/junk folder as well as the inbox.  If it isn't there, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under your Primary Email Address to resend the verification email.

    Since the latest lion update, my Mail has been unable to recieve or send any mail.
    Mail connection Dr is showing the following error; "Could not connect to this iCloud IMAP server."

    I've tried re-signing in, in both mail and through system pref. I just get the following error at the starting "Welcome to mail" splash screen
    The iCloud IMAP server “p04-imap.mail.me.com” is not responding. Try checking the network connection, and that the server name is correct. Otherwise, the server might be temporarily unavailable. If you continue, you might not be able to receive messages.
    As to the mail server, I can only assume no! As far as I can remember it was just a case of username+password and I was good to go. Really stumpped as to why this has happened.

  • After moving mailbox to iCloud, iOS mail not in date order

    A few days ago I uploaded a large Hotmail mailbox to a new iCloud one.
    I did this by using OSX (Mountain Lion) Mail selecting all mails in the Hotmail folder Inbox and dragging them to my newly created .ME iCloud mailbox.  I repeated this for the Sent mailbox
    All worked great.  I now have all my 12,000 emails and attachments in iCloud.  Everything is in the correct order and when I open up iCloud on Safari my mails are correct there too.
    When I open up mail on my iPad(3) or my iPhone 4s, the mails are in a bizarre order.  E.g. the first page will show me an email from yesterday, one from a couple of years ago.
    If I do a search "Load More Messages" for any particular mail or sender, all the mails pop up in the search.  When I close the search, I get the same bizarre list of non date-ordered emails again.
    I tried setting the phone/iPad to Fetch, Push, Manual.. all combinations to no avail.
    I just tried a complete iPhone restore.  Same problem.
    Next step I was going to delete/re-sign in my iOS account. Bit wary of deleting the iCloud account on the iOS devices at this stage as I'm worried I may delete cloud data as well as my iOS device data.  Maybe this is not the problem anyway.
    Any suggestions welcome!

         I have been trying to fix this on my own for about 2 hours and have not been able to. I have tried everything I click reset password from the Instagram website but the email never comes to my Icloud Mail and no its not in my spam folder or blacklisted.

    Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account. Ask to have another verification email sent.

    I've entered AppleID both username and password correct. It spools to verify email and then asks me to Check Email- however, NO email received ?

    I managed to fix my issue by identifying that I not only had one but TWO (2) Apple ID's and I was logging in using the incorrect account that was initially linked to my Apple store.
    I have since deleted additional Apple ID account and then went in and deleted iCloud account (Settings/iCloud/Delete Account). After deleting iCloud I went in AGAIN and set it up using the correct Apple ID and password)....

    If the old ID is yours, and if your new ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
