i am not sure how to use icloud but for now i have lost the mail i my inbox and im sure its in icloud. how cani get my mail to show up i my inbox.Thanks for any help

Scroll down on the Notification page and there is a button at the bottom
labelled 'Edit'. Tap that button and you can add the weather back as well
as choose other things to display.

if you installed the find my iphone app before it was lost
you can use icloud.com to track it
if not there is nothing you can do

I've been losing some apps also in the Dock. As Niel said I think is that you may be able to just drag them back to the Dock, if you can find them.
What I do is open Launchpad and while you're in there, drag the application to the Dock. If you can't locate the apps, then disregard this post.

As far as I am aware, I have always used the standard keyboard and texting apps that came with the phone. There is no swype option on the keyboard any longer. The keyboard is just standard numbers and letters that have to be pressed individually. When I go to settings to try to change anything in swype, it looks as it would if swype were working - it shows all the settings for swype are correct - it just doesn't show up when the keyboard pops up for any apps or function on the phone.
I placed the phone in SafeMode and still not able to use swype.

I had this problem post 6.1. Not sure if it was a coincidence, but I'd just recently changed my password after being convinced I'd been hacked, due to being told I was entering my password wrongly, repeatedly by iCloud / iTunes. It turns out my iCloud account on my Settings -> Mail, Contacts and Calendars was listed as Inactive. If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup).
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.
