ICloud information does not work on iPhone 5

My iCloud information works perfectly with my e-mail address on my computer, yet does not register as true information on my Apple iPhone 5.
It was just reset, and recently updated with the new security features that came out last week. I do not understand the problem as it allows me access through not only the Apple website but the iTunes store and everything related to it.
This won't let me set my e-mails, access my phone data in general or anything.

Check Settings > General > Restrictions, and check out Contacts toward the bottom under the privacy restrictions.
That sounds like the probable cause you cannot add contacts.
Regarding the iCloud behavior, that sounds like it got huge (35,000) because of incorporating other contacts (from social media, perhaps). Also contacts sync has nothing to do with iCloud behavior. The whole idea of keeping your contacts in the cloud is that once you change them on one device, they change everywhere. Specific syncs are not relevant.

iCloud email addresses (@mac.com, @me.com and @icloud.com) require SSL. Is your address an iCloud address or someone else?

Icloud backup does not work after installing ios7

Something is not configured correctly that is creating issues with your AppleTV. You can disconnect it from the TV and power, and then plug it into your computer with a micro-USB cable. After launching iTunes on your computer, you will be able to restore it to default settings and upgrade the software.

Photostream does not work on iphone 5

I have an iphone 5 and IOS6 (beautiful phone!!)
My photostream does not work properly, I use the Icloud program (latest version) on my windows 7 pc
But whem i put a photo into the upload map, the photo does not appear in my photostream on my iphone.
I have reset the photostream on icloud.com, On my Iphone I have set the photostream of and deleted the photo's
But a new photo will not appear in my phoyostream when I do on my pc?
Can you tell me what's wrong

Hi Philip, I had a similiar problem when I upgraded from 4S to iPhone 5, basically when i had the iPhone 4S i deleted the pictures off the camera roll but kept them in the photostream.
When i upgraded to iPhone 5, the pictures in camera roll transfered over and only the last 30 days of photostream not all images. I phoned apple, I was told that you can save the picture to camera roll by selecting multiple images (click edit on photostream on you'r phone) in photostream then selecting "share" then select "save to camera roll" then you can take the pictures from there. But this did not work for me.
So what i did instead was download box.com app and got an account. I used this app to upload multiple images from my photostream to the cloud. You get 5gb free with box so more than enough for images. I then download this images on my laptop from the cloud directly.

No, it should work with the iPad. It's not a matter of what version of iOS is on the device.
The card reader has never been compatible with any iPhone. It is compatible with iPads.

Call log does not work. Iphone 4

Hi, I'm an Iphone 4 user, software currently on IOS 6.1.3, updated a couple of weeks ago.
Everything's fine and all, though one major problem that's been persisting - the call history is not working. Whenever an oncalling call (regardless if it's someone in my contact list or not) comes, the call log does not record the number and the entire log remains blank. I've tried resetting the settings as well as 'hard reset', but neither of these two have worked.
It's become absolutely frustrating, especially when I sold items off at Trademe and can't even track the phone numbers of anyone that gives a call saying they want to buy something (for the moment, I've currently got all pages saying that anyone interested should text my number, but as always, someone ignores that and just calls anyway). Not to mention it makes it a particularly big headache for work purposes as well and it obviously can't go on like this forever.
It'd be really appreciated if anyone can come up with a solution that can resolve this issue.

I don't know how widespread your experience is but it is not universal as all the functions you describe work correctly for me with an E52 and 052.003 firmware.
Even if the upgrade reverted the log settings for Log Duration to "None" the "Green" key and the Log menu icon should bring the log up but with it empty, of course.

Calendar iPhone and iCloud - sync does not work

I have a problem with the calendar. When I type in the phone calendar event does not appear in iCloud, but it goes in reverse - from icloud to iphone is fine.
I do not know where everything is set up, I could not find anything where I do something stopla and again it gave way.

Icloud mail does not work over cellular network after upgrade to IOS 8.1.3

Hi,
Since I did the update to IOS 8.1.3 on my iPhone 6 Plus yesterday, my icloud mails cannot be received/sent with my phone over the cellular network.
In order to make mails workin' I need to be connected to a Wifi network.
All setting are correct on the phone.
How can I fix this **** issue.
Deleted the icloud account already and added it again but that does not help.
Also when I try to connect to iCloud from the iCloud settings it says: Authentication Failed - A server error occurred.
The password is correct.
Please help me.

I Fixed it by trying to sign in with a different ID and canceling when it asked For a password and then signed in with my ID and it works! No more error message. I got this idea from another discussion. Thank you for replying though.

Corporate Email does not work with iPhone

I'm not a tech wiz so my apologies if this is very elementary. My IT guy said the iPhones will not work with MS Exchange on our server. We currently support Blackberry and Windows Mobile devices such as the Q, Treos, Blackjack. He did mention that my email could work through the POP server, but it wasn't secure. I've tried setting up the POP email to pull my corporate email, but keep getting the Authentication Failure message. Any suggestions on what to try?

If Windows mobile devices can connect using ActiveSync, then your iPhone should be able to connect the same way.
I used a HTC TytnII to sync my mail, calendar et contacts. I got the iphone and entered the exact same informations (server IP adress, user name and login) and it just worked.
You need however to know the exact capitalization of your email adress, as described in your MS Exchange server. To know that, create a message in outlook, enter your name in the "to" field and double-click on your name. In the information box, you should have numerous tabs, and the last one gives you the capitalization (in the "SMTP" field).

AT&T WiFi does not work on iPhone

I have a free AT&T Basic WiFi account as a benefit of having AT&T 6MB/S DSL service at home. I have not been able to log in at either of two local McDonald's for the past three weeks. I took my MacBook with me this morning and was able to log in just fine but when I attempted to log in with the iPhone I received an error message telling me that the transaction could not be processed.
I called the AT&T Wi-Fi support number and was told that they were not allowing iPhone access. Only Laptops and the like were being allowed access. When I told him that I had been able to access the network when I first got my iPhone he told me that that was true but a change had been made to not allow access to the iPhone. He said that as far as he knew it was not a technical issue and he did not know if or when access would be allowed in the future.
Kinda strange.... an AT&T home phone, DSL, and AT&T mobile customer with an iPhone and cannot use the service.

I hope he was in error but the problem has persisted for several weeks. I even re-set the iPhone to no avail. I am well aware of the log-in procedure as I can log in with the MacBook without issue but not with the iPhone. I will pursue the problem a bit further.
One thing interesting is that the login screen is presented slightly differently on the iPhone in that the "Agree" box, which requires a check mark on the MacBook, is an "Agree" button on the iPhone. They can definitely tell that is is a different browseer.
