ICloud is not sending or receiving my emails, any one else having this problem today?

iCloud mail not working on my iMac, iPhone or my iPad. same for my wife who has her own account.

Mike, for days I've meant to send thanks your way for the reply. I hadn't thought more about the potential that I'd been hacked -- until today. I auth'd "Find Friends" at wordpress.com to look at my Google contacts and up popped two addresses that look completely unfamiliar. In the past six months I've been informed by Amazon.com and American Express that "your customer data may have been vulnerable to a malicious attack."
For years, as a Mac user, I've been pretty unconcerned about malware and security. As more and more of our data moves off Macs and onto Linux and Windows and whatever in the cloud I guess data security is something I've got to take more seriously. And Apple is so mainstream now... perhaps more hackers are targeting Mac OS and iOS than in the old Microsoft-on-top days.

The solution to your problem is rather simple
1: Get a external hard drive and use Disk Utility to format it with a GUID partition map and OS X extended Journaled.
2: Export your browser bookmarks and any other needed data to a file,. Copy your User data folders of Music, Pictures etc over to the external drive via drag and drop copy methods, disconnect the drive.
I don't advise using TimeMachine at this point since your boot drive is messed up, thus so will be your TM drive, just transfering the problem later on back to the new install. We are proceeding with a "Fresh install" method to eliminate as many issues as possible which a TM restore can return to a new OS X install.
3: Next you will need to follow these instructions to zero erase (important) and install 10.6 fresh, use the same named account (different password ok)
How to erase and install Snow Leopard 10.6
4: Before you return files or install programs, Software Update fully and use the AppStore to install 10.8, this way it will be on a fresh 10.6 install, free of issues.
5: Install any and all 10.8 compatible programs as much as possible before returning your User files, this is a performance measure.
If you need too, use this site to find one's that are 10.8 compatible.

6: Last install your user files from the external drive backup into their respective Music, Pictures, Movies etc., folders, into the same named accounts so you preserve your iTunes playlists. When you open those programs, they will update their respective support files automatically.

Yes, same problem too; I've already sent an email to apple support and just received a very vague and unpractical response with "call apple support in your country" as main advice. I've obviously emailed back stating that I need a clearer response and I don not have any intention to spend money calling for support when updates is a free tool. I do also believe this is a probem generated on Apple's end, I just wish they learned to say "sorry, it's us; working on it!"

Try rebooting the computer and restarting the device.
Try a different cable.
In rare cases fluff in the connector port can prevent proper contact with the connectors used to transfer data. An air duster or thin piece of card or plastic can be used to tease out debris if that is the problem.

Other people have been having similar problems with songs over a couple of weeks or so.
Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the incomplete tracks from your iTunes library and redownload them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if they re-download in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find those songs and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

Delete background Apps from memory and then Reset.
To Delete background Apps, double click Home button, in the bar at bottom, hold down on an App Icon until the minus sign appears, tap all the minus signs, until all background Apps are cleared from memory. Then Reset, hold both Home and Power buttons until the iPhone begins to restart itself, ignor the 'slide to power off' let the iPhone restart itself. Usually takes about 10 seconds of holding both buttons.

I just noticed that one of the restore methods you posted was to put it into Disk Mode First rather than just use the resstore straight off, I Have tried that and seems to have solved the problem, If it has thank you. previously I have only tried just restoring it skipping this extra step. If you have never shared your password with anyone then your account was hacked. NOT your iPhone, your Apple ID. If you use the same password for other accounts any of them could have been hacked, and your password obtained from that other account. If your password was simple it could have been hacked by brute force. If it is a word found in any dictionary especially. Or if there is anything personally identifiable about it (nickname, pets name, address, name of someone you know).
The really important thing is to get it resolved QUICKLY with Apple Security, and to change all passwords that might have been stored in an iCloud backup of your phone.

IPhone 5, not working while it's charging. Anyone else having this problem?

I'm wondering if I'm the only one that has a problem when using the phone while it's connected to the charger. I will try to text or attempt to go into an app and the phone takes me somewhere else or it will just not recognize my touch. Anyone else? Should I take my phone back?

Since downloading OSX 10.7, half the websites do not display correctly in firefox 5.0, any one else having this issue?

The websites look like they are formatted for a mobile device, but changing the display between mobile and full does not correct the problem. Perhaps a compatibility issue with the new OS?

Firefox 5.0.1 was released last week to fix some issues with Lion.

I have plug my charger in to every outlet I can find and my phone will not charge. I have tried more than one charger and no luck.

We never want you to have issues with charging your device! That's definitely no fun! Are you using the charger that came with the phone? Have you tried restarting the phone to see if that makes any difference? If you look in the charging port are there any signs of corrosion?
