Icloud is not updating on all my devices

icloud is not updating my appointments on all my devices

Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Documents & Data,  is Use Cellular Data turned off?  If so, and if you have wifi off, then there's no way to communicate.

You have to look at the email protocol being used.  the Apple email system uses IMAP, does Tinyworld use IMAP or POP?
Does the email system permit delivery receipts to be requested?
Just some of the things one needs to determine from the information provided by the email service provider.

  • My iCloud email does not sync to all my devices

My iCloud email (yes an @me address) does not sync to all my devices. My phone and mac sync perfectly, but my iPad never updates.  If I have my mac and phone on the mail program and I archive an email it works instantly on both devices.  However my iPad seems to be in the stone age. Even though I've archived all my mail and my inbox is empty on both my mac and phone my iPad still has a notification for 28 new emails going back to last week.  Its like my iPad is completely seperate.

Like I said its seemless between my phone and mac. I can archive on my phone and it will immediately disappear from my iMac and vice versa.  Its odd that it works on one iOS device and not another... And when I say my emails don't archive on my iPad I mean it shows the last 50 emails (because of my settings) from my inbox like I haven't already archived them already. So I have emails on my iPad from 9 days ago =\

  • ICloud is not updating my iMac desktop.  Laptop, iPad and iPhone are fine but the desktop remains static.

iCloud is not updating my desktop with new iCal and Contacts updates.  How do I get the information to download from iCloud to this device?
The desktop is OS X 10.7.5.  My MacBook Air is OS X10.8.  iPad and iPhone are iOS6.  My Apple ID on the OS devices is different from the 2 computers in that they use a .me address.  Thanks to anyone who can help.

    OK Vicky, good clues...
    See if this helps...
Open Keychain Access in Utilities, use Keychain First Aid under the Keychain Menu item, then either check the Password under that item, change it, or delete it and start over. See if there are duplicates, should be one for Incoming & one for Outgoing.
Resetting your keychain in Mac OS X...
If Keychain First Aid finds an issue that it cannot repair, or if you do not know your keychain password, you may need to reset your keychain.

Are you sure you have a 4g/3g iPod?   If you don't have a camera, it's definitely not 4G.  If it has no camera and is 8 or 16 Gb it is a 2G and can't go beyond 4.2.1.

    Hi, KK93.
Sometimes a simple power cycle of the router and Mac can resolve the issue.  However, try the steps in the article below to troubleshoot the Wi-Fi issue with your MacBook.

  • Icloud account not updating

I have three devices - PC, iphone and ipad2.  Only the PC reflects the correct apple id in iCloud.  The other two keep asking for an old apple id password.  What do I do about this?  I thought they would sync but that's not working.  Now iCloud will recognize my iPad but not the iPhone - it says it is offline.  What is the problem.  All have the latest iTunes and I've managed to back them up to my PC.
I want to have the same Apple ID and password on all three, the iCloud id to match on all three as well.
    Thanks

Okay I guess I'm getting a little confused with the use of current Apple ID... let me clarify, here's what happened...
I had an Apple ID and password that iCloud used as well. They worked fine until someone hacked my email and I paniced that they would hack my Apple info since everything was closely tied together.  So I decided to change the Apple ID, email account and password in the same day.
This morning I went to the Manage my account at the My Apple ID and changed both my Apple ID and apple password to entirely new ones.  I changed the Apple ID and password in iTunes on both my iPad and iPhone as well.
I then realized that the iCloud account on my PC was updated to the new Apple ID and password, but the iphone and ipad accounts were still showing my old information.  After repeatedly being told by my iPhone and iPad that either my Apple ID or password were incorrect I came here, searched for about two hours and finally posted this thread.
I don't know what else to do.
I went back to Manage my account and changed my Apple ID back to the previous one and left my password as the new password - it didn't work.
    Any suggestions?

  • Find my iPhone in iCloud is not able to find my devices

I have upgraded all my apple devices (including my iPad , iPhone to iOS 5 and my macbook air to 10.7.2) to the latest software. When I use find my iPhone feature in icloud.com its not able to find any of my devices. Is anyone else also facing the same problem?
P.S I have also enabled location services in all those devices. Find my iPhone was working before the update for my iPhone.

Go to icloud.com/find and sign in using your Apple ID (the one you use with iCloud).
Make sure Find My iPhone (iPad) is turned on on the devices.
Tap Settings > iCloud > Find My (device)
If you still can't find an iOS device, reset them both.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    Try again.

  • Why are my icloud apps not updating?

Whether or not my iCloud LISTS or CALENDARS update across all of my app devices they are supposed to is a hit or miss deal. Sometimes they do quickly, sometimes it takes forever, sometimes not at all. Why??

Syncing hasn't worked for me for a couple of days now. It must be something on Apple's end.

  • ICloud mail not working, lost all mail.

    hello,
i have this new problem which i can not figure out so i am asking for your help.
    the situation is as follows:
i own a .mac account since day 1. and moved to icloud. so did my wife. all worked fine till i decided to update her iphone to ios6 i think.
today she send me an email which i received on my ipad. the notification on my ipad said an email was received from my name. checked the email and the email was my wifes email, but with my name.
went to iclouds on ther prefs pane and saw that it was under my name but i could not change it.
went to apple id and change the name under her apple id to her name and everything changed under hers.
but mail app got all srewed up.
i have lost all her emails and the only thing i get is an inbox and the sent folder.
her web mail and iphone have all folders and emails so they are not lost from the server.
i can not seem to be able to connect the macbook to the icloud server.
i log out from her apple id, and icloud. relog but mail will not sync with icloud and give an error in the pref pane window of icloud. it sais that icloud would not be enabled and go to mail and add the account from there.
i try to do it and when i go to add the account the account is already there. the icon on the left in the accounts list shows the icloud icon with mobile me title and icloud imap description.
the details in the account are correct and already filled in and locked. the server is p01-imap.mail.me.com
i send an email from my account to my wifes email. her iphone received the email from my name to my name (yes my name) but under her email address since she received it. on the macbook the email never arrived.
if i delete the account in the mail app i will get all fields locked but only the alias pull down menu with her email address with the @mac, @ me and @icloud alias.
enabling and disabling the acount will not add an icon to the left. enabling will fill in the locked fields. but do not really make mail work.
quiting mail and reopoening will create an icloud account like before....all in a loop and it gts me really mad!
i can not describe the problem any better since i do not understand what is going on.
    macbook is on lion.
    pleasseeeeee heeeellllpppp
or to put things on simpler note, mail will not enable/sync with iclouds.

I have the same problem with my iPhone 5 iOS 6. Message reads "The latest backup could not be completed." I have tried about 10 times, both auto and manual syncs. The progress bar progresses about 1%, stays there for about 5-10 minutes then the message appears. To rule out the possibility of a wireless signal problem, I did an iCloud backup on my wife's iPad (iOS 5.1.1) and my iPad II (iOS 6) and had no problems. I can't understand why my iPhone 5 has the problem and not my other devices. Apple phone support was unable to resolve this and the support person said he has not heard of this problem and would contact the engineering department.

  • I am so frustrated with mail.  It keeps hanging and it's not synchronized across all my devices.  Is there a better app?

Am I the only one having such a frustrating time with mail?  I'm working along and suddenly if just stops responding.  If I wait long enough, it will come back to life, but who wants to work through 100 emails, that way?  Also, it is not always synchornized across my devices.  I forward all my accounts to icloud.

    Or this.  Same issue...
