Icloud is set, is it possible to change outlook pst file?

I'm curious if I can alter my outlook pst file settings to the point to delete the default calender and replace that calander with the Icloud one? Currently, when my outlook 2010 opens up to my outlook pst date file overview which gives me any tasks, emails and calendar activities so I konw what's all going on. However, all my data was deleted from my outlook calendar when I imported it into my Icloud. I like everything the way it is, however, I just need to replace that empty outlook calender with the Icloud calendar.

It's a little tricky to move data from one iCloud account to another but it can be done. But what makes you think you have 2 iCloud accounts.

Is it possible to change the predetermined file name?

When I'm using the classical " app.execMenuItem("SaveAs"); " saving button, I always get the original file name in the dialog saving box (in order to save it locally). Is it possible to change this predetermined file name? where can I change it?

Adobe does not support this option. You have to live with it. Any way users get choice to change location and file name in the SaveAs window.

Is it possible to change a jpg file back to an ai file?

Before I begin I am a complete novice. Never used a mac before, never used illustrator before.
My sister made some wedding invitations for me on illustrator which I ordered last week. They have arrived but unfortunately there is an error on both the front and inside. She has since gone travelling, so is unable to rectify this.
I have her mac and have managed to change the front cover however there is no ai file for the interior image, only a jpg. I have spoke to her, and we have spent a long time trying to track down the ai file but it's completely disappeared, no idea what's happened and she cannot think of any reason why it would have been deleted.
Is it possible to change a jpg file back to an ai file so I can edit the text? It is a very simple edit (mistake is RSPV instead of RSVP ). She mentioned trying to just put a box over the text but there is an image in the background so I don't think this is possible for a novice like me.
Can anybody (in very simple terms) give me any advice? I am starting to panic (sister isn't back for 18 months, wedding in just over 2 months!).

In that case automatic vectorization won't get you anywhere.
Use Photoshop and move the two letters around. You might be lucky and noone notices.

Transform action, is it possible to change value directly files?

We are investigation transform action on isetup and we notice that almost all the standard templates are not eligible for transormation. So if have the following questions:
1- Do you know where the generated outpout files are located on the server (We can download them for iSetup module but we dont know where they are located).
2- Is it possible to modifiy manually the setup option directly on the outpout file (manual transformation) and then manage a load to import the new setup.
3. We tried the point 2 with the "upload" action that we discovered in the tool (not mentionned in user guide) :
- I downladed an outpout file and then i changed juste on capital on the setup
- then i upload the modifed zip file as an extract but i had the following error during the upload , do you know if this can work or not ?

Please check that the file you uploaded is zipped back up again with the exact same directory structure as the zip file you downloaded. It looks like the loader cannot find the driver.xml file which shouldn't be in a directory within the zip file.

Its not possible to change outlook standard template

this seems to be a really easy question..
how do i change the standard-Outlook template ?
I have tried to update the Tab spacing default from 0.5 to 0.25 but when I close it, it looses the setting!!!
What I have tried already:
1. I have opened a new email - changed the setting and saved. Did not work!
2. I have opened NormalEmail.dotm - changed the setting and saved. Did not work!
3. I have opened Normal.dotm - changed the setting and saved. Setting works in Word, but not in Outlook!!!
This is rediculous!!!

I've got the same result as you test.
If you only want to change the Tab spacing default from 0.5 to 0.25, kindly code a vba when you create a new message - automatically change tab stop spacing to 0.25. In Word, we can easily complete it by the code:
Sub Macro()
Selection.ParagraphFormat.TabStops.ClearAll
ActiveDocument.DefaultTabStop = CentimetersToPoints(0.25)
End Sub
However, I have no idea how to convert it to Outlook. We may post the question to the forum for Outlook Developer, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction.

Is it Possible to Change the Jar File Names After Downloading at Client

Hi. All
Here I am tring to Rename Jar file Names once after JWS Downloads at Client Place. But I don't know how to do this. I Searched in so many Blogs and Forums, but i failed to get Solution for this. As when JWS downloads Jars from server, its changes file names (prefixes with "RM" and "RT"). So same way i want to change once after it downloads files. Can any body tels how to dot this. Really ... Help is appriciated

The content and format of the cache will and do change from version to version of javaws. It is highly unadvisable to build into you application relying on the location or format.

I am using this property to tell javac that the command arguments file has some other encoding than the system deafult, like this:
javac -J-Dfile.encoding=UTF-8 @files-to-compile.lst
On windows xp with us english locale it worked for all the SDK releases I checked, but for Windows 2000 Japanese Edition only one of the J2SDK 1.4.1 releases worked.
My question is: is there an acceptable way to tell the JVM what the default encoding is? Or inform javac about the encoding of the argument file?
The reason for having a UTF-8 encoded javac argument list file is that our application generates Java source files that can have unicode characters in their names. Seemingly Windows supports unicode file names so I did not want to restrict file names to those supported by the system encoding.

Use javac's "-encoding" option.

Does install of iCloud Control Center add another Outlook.pst?

Outlook 2010 on Windows 7.
After I installed the iCloud Control Center it appears there is another
Outlook.pst file. This one is in 'My Documents'.
Is this part of iCloud?

I have the same setup as sceloglaux (Win 7 64 bit Home, iPhone 3GS, Outlook 2010).
I tried a reboot, uninstall, reboot again, disable and close anything I can, then reinstall. Still the same problem.
Athough I'm not sure if I got this message before:
Outlook Setup Error
Your setup couldn't be started because of an unexpected error.
Clicking the report button brings up my profile dialog box, then I choose my profile and it just goes back to the error dialog. Try again does the same thing.
sceloglaux - it sounds like you got it working. Care to enlighten us on what steps you took?
Do I need to have an me.com e-mail account set up first? I don't want to sync e-mail, just calendar and contacts. I tried setting up e-mail in case that's the missing link, but I'm having trouble with that as well (separate thread, probably server issues).

Changing how download files are opened

Hi, is it possible to change how a file is opened from the downloads window?
I am specifically thinking of .doc files which open in text edit windows, and wld rather they opened in pages or adobe.

You can't open .doc files in Adobe, since there is no such application. Adobe makes several applications, and if you're referring to Adobe Reader, it only opens PDF files because that is it's sole purpose. If you have Pages,
You can open .doc files in Pages if you choose; you will need to Get Info on the .doc file and change the "Open with:" application to Pages, then click the "Change All…" button to apply it to all.doc files.

Syncing Outlook contacts/calendars to iCloud? Back up .pst file first!

I see many people are having issues with losing calendars and contacts, or getting duplicates, when turning on iCloud "sync to Outlook" option. Suggestion, if you haven't already messed things up - save a renamed copy of your Outlook (2007 or 2010) "outlook.pst" file (or whatever .pst file holds your personal Outlook data) BEFORE you start. In a worst case, you can always turn iCloud off and replace the .pst file with the backup, and you will have your calendar and contacts (as of that date) as they were. (Outlook account settings - Data Files - Open File Location).
I have managed not to need it yet, but glad I have it. I still have occasional Calendar items disappearing from Outlook - work shifts, not good! Hopefully Apple will make this easier! Great when it works!

No it is not possible. Content purchased from the iTunes Store is permanently tied to the account from which it was originally purchased, and Apple does not provide a way to change it.

Thanks for the help, however the issue was due to the language difference in the systemobject. I could only translate the text of the object because it was maintained in a different language.
However the topic was also combined with some technical issues in the system's setup.
