ICloud isn't working on my Macbook

I came onto my Macbook Air today and all my Movies, Tv Programmes and Music were all gone. They were all there and working fine this morning, but they are not working now. As I dont want them to clog up my storage, i didnt have them downloaded on my Macbook, they were just there and i could watch them when i was using my wifi through icloud. I can Download them again from icloud and when i delete them they are still there, but when i turn my Macbook on and off, they are all gone again. I also have an iPhone 5, which i dont download them on either, because i watch them through my wifi on icloud, They are all working fine on there.

  • Icloud is not working on my macbook pro

icloud is not working on my macbook pro and works on both my ipad and my iphone. Not sure why this is, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Yes it has been turned on in system preferences. I've even signed out & signed back in to trouble shoot & the problem still exists. The problem is — while browsing in Safari, I'll hit the iCloud tab on my MacBook Pro & it will be blank, showing nothing opened on the other devices. Then I'll check the other device sitting next to me & they have web pages opened & their iCloud works. Not sure what is wrong, prob need to call Apple...

  • Iphoto isn't working on my macbook pro

Iphoto isn't working on my macbook pro, it is coming up with the following message:-
Your photo library is either in use by another application or has become unreadable.
Shut down and restart your computer, and then open iphoto again.  If the problem persists, try rebuilding your photo library.  To do this, quit ipoto, and then reopen it while keeping the optino and command keys pressed.  You can also try restoring your photo library from a backup.
Please help.  I don't want to delete this app and then have to pay for it again.

Restore from your back up is a good place to start.
    Failing that:
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

Clear as it gets here >  Apple - iCloud - Learn how to set up iCloud on all your devices
Make sure your Mac is running the latest version of OS X Lion.
If you don’t have Lion installed, you can purchase it from the Mac App Store.

If you already have Lion, click the Apple icon at the top left of your screen and choose Software Update to get the latest version (OS X Lion v10.7.2 or later).

I'm trying to use my photo stream on my Icloud but it isn't working, any suggestions?

What part isn't working? The download? The install? Do you see an error message? Are you downloading a trial version, or did you pay for it?
Please post more details, and someone may be able to help you.

  • ICloud isn't working at all

I just create a new ID in @me.com when creating my iCloud account. Apple don't recognize it as a new ID (but I can login in iCloud)  and nothing in iCloud seems to work: iCal, Agenda, Mail, nothing is synchronizing or working at all.
And the app Mail on my Mac can't conect either with the new @me.com accout, it always show the message of "Incorrect password".

    Yuuuuuuuuuuup!

  • My volume isn't working on my MacBook Air. How do i fix it?

One day i tried to listen to Itunes but the volume wasnt working on my MacBook Air. I gave it to my sister and she told me to shut it off then turn it back off. When i tried to shut it off i couldnt because the mail had to close but when i tried to close it, it wouldnt work. How can i close the mail to make the volume work again?

did you put your Air to sleep with headphones attached, or closed the monitor with phones attached?
Do not sleep your Air (close the monitor with headphones attached) with headphones attached, this is known to affect some Air under Mavericks.
      * this occurrence is being looked into.
Much testing on my own and others as well show that, in some instances, this occurs in Mavericks.
If you choose you may contact Apple for an appt and diagnostics.
However as said, refrain from having phones attached when you close the monitor to prevent this until it is resolved
    Test this and re-verify

  • ICloud Email stopped working on my MacBook running 10.7.5

My computer has worked fine since installing 10.7.5 but suddenly iCloud mail has stopped.    I can neither send or receive from my MacBook, but my iPad and iPhone both have working iCloud email.    I didn't change anything on the computer, but I see that the iCloud Mail Server box has "greyed out.    Any suggestions please?

Make sure Mail is selected in System Preferences > iCloud
According to the iCloud status page >  Apple - Support - System Status
    The mail server is working.
You can click Contact Suport at the bottom of that window.

  • My netflix isn't working on my MacBook Pro. I tried 3 different browsers and it won't work on any of them. It said I have to update my Adobe player, which I did, but it still won't work.

My netflix won't play on my computer. At first it wouldn't work in Safari and it gave me a redirect failure (too many redirects). Then I tried it in Chrome and it won't work in there. It work for a few days in Firefox and now that doesn't work either. I have a MacBook Pro OS X Yosemite version 10.10.2. I just updated because I thought that would help. I tried clearing my history/cache but that didn't work. Do I have a Mac version of a virus? Help! What is wrong?
Also, I noticed when I log into my computer with my password when I first turn my computer on, The password box is slightly off center the first time, then I type my password, then it comes up again looking centered like it's supposed to. What is happening???

  • OSX Mountain Lion isn't working with my Macbook white A1181

I don't know why but it wont let me download Mountain Lion on my macbook (the first white one - A1181), saying that it isn't compatible. Can someone help?
    Please.

First we need to know which one of the 9 different models of MacBook you have. The A1181 is simply any of the 6 white or black MacBooks with the user removable battery. To see which model you have go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info. When System Profiler comes up check the Model Identifier and post it back here.
The Early 2006 model 1,1 Core Duo can only run a maximum of 10.6 Snow Leopard.
The models Late 2006 Core 2 Duos 2,1 through Early 2008 4,1 can only run a maximum of 10.7 Lion.
The Late 2008 model 5,1 Aluminum Unibody through the Mid 2010 White Unibody model 7,1 can run 10.8 Mountain Lion.

  • IMessage isn't working on my MacBook anymore

I used to use it all the time and out of nowhere it won't work anymore. All the messages are appearing in green, even though they are iMessage users. I've looked in Account details and Contacts and everything seems to be fine.
    Help!

It sounds like you have done a lot of troubleshooting already, but I'm not seeing that you signed out of Messages on the Mac and then signed back in. I would also suggest that you try signing out of iCloud and then back in again (since your Contacts seem to not be registering correctly either).
    Worth a shot....

  • HDMI cable isn't working on my MacBook Pro

I bought a HDMI cable with a thunderbolt end for my MacBook Pro and it stopped working. When I connect it, the screen turns blue for some seconds but won't make 'connection' and wont show on my TV (SAMSUNG). It was working fine till last month.
Today, I brought it to work to try it out and connected the cable on another MacBook and it worked fine (So the cable works), and connected a thunderbolt adapter with a HDMI cable to my laptop and it worked (my thunderbolt port works fine, too). It's just my cable not working with my laptop...
I'm going to update my MacBook, maybe that is the problem...? But why did the other cable work and not mine?
    Thank you!

    Try this.
