The credit card used is that registered in the iTunes Store. Open the Store and go to your account. Click 'edit' next to 'payment details' and amend the card details if necessary.

It's a real problem when you're deployed outside the US and your billing address, though totally correct, is not. This seems to be a common complaint. I think the billing address vs. your present location causes some security concern or similar nonsense that prevents progress.
The only way I know of to resolve this is to contact iTunes Support by email. I have never had to wait more than a day for a response:

I am not sure how you can remove your payment details on your iPhone but you can remove this in iTunes on your computer.
Also, you should have set iTunes to ask for a your password before any download - no password = no download and you will not go bankrupt! -
So I need to buy a TV series on my family's account, and we want it just to charge the credit card and not the money from an iTunes Card that's already on the account. Is there any way to do this?
I am pretty sure it will always use the credit card unless payment method is set to none.
That has been my experience anyway.

In more detail, i got the wifi and 3g ipad 2 and in the settings then cellur data, it says view account.
It say like name and stuff and i was wondering if i use my info for the top parts as in first name and last, telephone #, email and and rmail password since the credit card holder is my mom, not me. I have already created an Apple ID. I tried to sign in on iTunes, but it said I have not yet used this ID with iTunes. It then directed me to the billing page. There was no option "none" for the credit card payment. It will not let me continue without entering one in.
- Add a credit card or other payment method like redeeming an iTunes gift card.
- Create a NEW account using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before.

I am trying to set up a family sharing with a new iMac and other Mac pro computer and other apple products. When I click to manage account and the add a member, I am told to verify the user by entering the security code from the credit card. The card listed is an old one and has since been changed. I updated the info on my apple account, but it is not getting to the iCloud for the family sharing. The number shown is the old card. When I enter a code it says invalid. How long does it take for the info to udate to all systems?

Happy Holidays! The resource below explains how to edit the credit card information for the Apple ID account that you want to use for Family Sharing. Once you've made the changes, I would suggest you sign out of your iTunes Store on all of your devices, and then restart them. The changes should take place quickly. You can't delete an account, and all of the account's downloads will remain tied to the account.
On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link. If you are doing it on your phone then tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.

You cannot use that ID without a credit card. You did not create your account correctly. There is very specific way in which you must create your account if you do not want to use a credit card. If you don't have a credit card, you will have to start all over again.
1. You will have to sign out of that ID before you can create a new one. Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID>Sign out.
2. You cannot use the email address that you used for the first ID that you created. You will need to use another email address now
3. You have to download a free app in order to start the new Apple ID process.

While anything is possible if you had enough money... NOPE, you can't change the CPUs to Intel, nor can you get any faster PPC upgrades for it. It'd be far cheaper to buy a new IntelMac than to replace everything inside the G5, and I mean just about everything, then figure out how to machine the case & such to mount Intel Logic Board, Graphic Card & such.

you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on any iOS devices that you have by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store (Settings > Store on iOS 5 and below) and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on them
