ICloud keychain not working

I am wanting to change a whole lot of passwords as a result of the Heartbleed bug but when I go to change various passwords (such as Facebook and Google) I am not getting the suggested Safari keychain password
I am running the latest OS on all my devices & definitely have keychain enabled
Am baffled-any help appreciated

Because anybody gaining access to your computer would be able to automatically log into the site without having to enter any additonal information. I don't know of any of my financial institutions that allow it.
That doesn't make sense especially when talking about Google or Facebook!
Why is that? I know that I am unable to access Google Mail without entering my password each time. I'm pretty sure I'm challenged to re-enter it once a week when I'm in Google+.

App store, Safari, software updates, icloud, do not work in Mavericks 10.9. these problems are interrelated I am sure. Apple apps were working fine in 10.8.5 I could do software updates through a proxy server using password authentication. I reinstalled a new system 10.9 on another partition and it won't let me use Safari or update software using a proxy server. Firefox works fine (I am using it to post). I am very disappointed that this wasn not fully tested BEFORE releasing Mavericks. Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.

I had this problem myself.
Checked the system log with Console, and I found the entry:-
Nov 11 11:16:41 teds-new-mac.ad.mycompany.co.uk ocspd[537]: Authentication challenge received for "10.203.39.212:8080", unable to obtain proxy server credential from System keychain.
For some unknown reason, Mavericks seems to be looking in the System keychain, when these credentials are actually held in the Login keychain.
So, I tried "Copy & Paste" - copying the https user name & password from the Login keychain and pasting into the System keychain, which worked but it's not quite as straightforward as I initially thought.
Pasting into the System Keychain was, I found a not-very-intuitive process:
Having opened your Login Keychain, click once on the item to be copied and when it's highlighted, select "Copy" from the Edit menu or, of course, cmd+c.
Select the System Keychain:- DO NOT CLICK THE PADLOCK IN THE TOP LEFT TO UNLOCK IT.
From the Edit menu, select "Paste" or cmd+v.
You will then get a dialogue box,, enter your administrator's password and select "Modify Keychain" or just hit return, as it's the default entry.
I found a restart was in order before it recognised everything and would accept https pages without alert boxes, but YMMV.
Funnily enough - and this is where it seems counter-intuitive, if you do click on the padlock and unlock the System Keychain, "Paste" is greyed out in the Edit menu and cmd+v has no effect.
Exactly the opposite to what I'd expect..

Yes it has been turned on in system preferences. I've even signed out & signed back in to trouble shoot & the problem still exists. The problem is — while browsing in Safari, I'll hit the iCloud tab on my MacBook Pro & it will be blank, showing nothing opened on the other devices. Then I'll check the other device sitting next to me & they have web pages opened & their iCloud works. Not sure what is wrong, prob need to call Apple...

I'd first try uninstalling and reinstalling your MobileMe control panel, dc. Does that clear the message up?

I can see the acknowledgement that this issue will be fixed in the 'next' software update. Considering the original post was for an iPad 2 running 5.0.1, I am not sure if this issue on iOS 5.1 which runs on my new iPad (4G) is considered fixed. As I reported in my previous post it is impossible to update individual tracks. I also tried adding entire collection to a single playlist, shuffling the playlist. While shuffle is in progress, turning to the 'list' view that allows tracks to be rated does who the currently shuffled playlist and the currently playing track and assigns the rating to the track correctly. However, as soon as the second track plays, switching to list view (which displays the ratings) lists only the tracks from the currently playing track's album. Which is insane IMHO.
So, was this not fixed with 5.1 update? Or the iOS 5.1 will get it's own piece of update on this?

Since upgrade to Windows 8.1, ICloud does not work. I could click on buttons for Reminders, Notes, etc. and would take me into ICloud to share with other devices. No longer functions.

I can't help you with why your PC won't upgrade to W8.1, but I can tell you that if you manage to get W8.1 to install, you won't be able to get the graphics to work anymore.
There is no W8.1 driver for the graphics setup in your PC.
So maybe it is a good thing that you can't get it to work.

You need to ask Apple for assistance with getting back into your old ID. To do this, click here and pick a method; if that page doesn't list one for your country or you're unable to resolve this issue through the Account Security team, fill out and submit this form.

Problem started last night.
I'm in Northern California.
Never had this problem before, dont know what to do next.

I still can't make it work on the iPhone5 or iPad.
I can't figure out how to switch outgoing servers on the iP5 or iPad.
On the MBPro I can use a different outgoing server and it works.

ICloud keychain not syncing on 1 (a Mac) of 4 devices

I am trying to enable iCloud keychain syncing on four devices: iMac, MacBook Air, iPhone 5s, iPad Air. All devices have the most current OS and are otherwise operating with no issues (including Internet connectivity).
The iCloud keychain on the MacBook Air is not syncing; passwords saved on the MBA do not sync "up" to iCloud, and passwords saved on any of the other three devices do not sync "down" to the MBA. The other three devices work as they should. The MBA is running 10.9.2 and all other aspects of iCloud work (e.g., contacts syncing, notes syncing). All devices are on the same iCloud account.
I have tried the following with no success:
1. Added/removed iCloud from the MBA (many times).
2. Checked/unchecked the "Keychain" item in Settings>iCloud (many times).
3. Keychain repair.
4. Various networks in multiple locations, both WiFi and wired.
5. The steps outlined in this Apple support document (multiple times): http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4644
6. Resetting Safari (multiple times).
7. Various other non-iCloud specific troubleshooting steps like emptying Trash and repairing disk permissions.
8. Deleting the Ubiquity folder in ~/Library/Application Support (figured it was worth a shot).
Would greatly appreciate any suggestions.

That isn't an option, I can't see how to change the account associated with the iPad. In Setting->iCloud, if I tap Delete Account, it gives the dialogue "If you delete your account, all documents stored in iCloud will be deleted from this iPad." With buttons for Delete and Cancel only.
I'm ok with deleting from the iPad, because I've turned off the calendar, reminders etc. and kept them on the iPad. So I just want to be sure they don't get delete from iCloud.
And of course, we will stop being able to use the same contacts list, which was the main reason for using one iCloud account.

ICloud Keychain Not Syncing At All

I have a Mac, iPad and iPhone. Everything was working at some point, but now nothing is. I have iCloud Keychain turned on on all devices, but they all appear to be operating as standalone devices. Nothing I save on any device is linking to any other device.
I have already tried:
1) Turning off iCloud Keychain on all devices and then turning it back on on one device and then following suit with the others. It will SOMETIMES send some info over, but it doesn't keep taking information in. Anything saved on a device after that point is not synced.
2) Reseting iCloud Keychain altogether. Starting fresh saves Nothing.
3) Factory reseting ALL my devices and starting from scratch entirely. No iCloud Backups to question or anything.
The only thing I haven't done is to create a brand new iCloud account and use that instead, but honestly...if I really have to do that to get this working, Apple is severely broken.
Anyone have any input?

My problem is one of my devices occasionally stops syncing (usually an iOS) stops syncing. I have to turn off iCloud Keychain, then reactivate it and things are fine from there. The problem is there is no indication of any kind that this problem has crept up. You just end up with a non-synchronized passwords or credit cards and realize everything is out of whack. Hopefully you didn’t do changes on the out-of-sync device because then you just have to pray that iCloud picks the correct dataset when merging upon reactivation.
I don’t seem to have any problems with any other iCloud sync, except of course for keyboard shortcuts, which have been breaking with every new release of iOS.
Bottom line is iCloud syncing is still very much broken, nearly 5 years after being introduced. Progress is being made, sure, but nowhere fast enough.

ICloud keychain not saving updated password.

Hi All. Hoping for some insite here.
iCloud key chain seemed to be working fine for me until I started updating my password and using the pasword generator to change them.
First it takes updating a password on anyone of thie sites that I use two tries to sucessfully save. Then by the next day (maybe even sooner) that keychain just changes them back to tthe original. This id kind of a nighmare because 1. its incredibly annying that it does that and is not working correctly and 2. I've went throught the painstaking process of going into settings, copying the password and inputting into all my respected apps on my iOS device. No keychain has reverted back and I dont know what the encypted passwords were. I have to go to all the site and update passwords again to just have this happen over and over. I cant access any of my accounts.
Any ideas?

Did you change the email address associated with an existing account, or did you create an entirely new account?
