yesterday everthing was ok, but today i have no my contacs - is empty my phone and icloud.com

Notes on the iPhone version was replaced by a version of the notes, which was on ipad. Can be stored earlier version on your server?

Before I lead anyone astray, let me clarify one point. Last week I received an email from Apple to my me.com account asking me to migrate to iCloud which I dutifully (maybe foolishly) did. As the time I did not realize what was happening because it seems to be THAT event which caused all of my notes to disappear. I cannot seem to find them anywhere. I fiddled around with the setting on my iPhone and at one point, I was asked to create a NEW me.com account. Now I am TOTALLY confused because I thought me.com was going away short and..... gee whiz I JUST MIGRATED MY ME.COM ACCOUNT TO iCloud.
So it begs the question, "Where the heck are my notes?"

trying to figure out which device is which in the icloud lost my phone app one is an old phone and the other was stolen i dont know which one is the good one and one wont let me add on the lost tracker. please help. really want to find my phone.

So, you are on iCloud on your computer, right? And it is showing a map with the little green drop pins?
If that is correct, then in the upper left-hand corner, you will see a little cloud, and next to it you will see "Devices". Click on devices, and it will list your devices by the names you gave them. Click on the one you are trying to find, and the drop pin for that one only will show....
You will then see a little window on the right that allows you to play a sound, lock it, or erase it.

Iphone 3gs and icloud lost 2/3 of my contacts for no reason, backed itself up on icloud, now they are gone.

1) I have 3 iphone 3gs phones (2 16gb and 1 8gb) all updated to iOS 5.0.1.
2) I added the 8Gb device to my itunes account and icloud this weekend and then I decided to make another itunes account for that phone and seperate it from the other 2 phones as it is used by another family member who does not need to be connected through icloud to the other 2 phones.
3) When I did this it changed my old itunes account email address to a non-existent email address that was a strange combination of the two email addresses for which I have appleIDs with.
4) I went back to itunes and fixed the appleId email address back to the correct address.
5) Following this ordeal, 2/3 of the contacts vanished from my icloud account and phones. Never to be seen again since icloud does not back-up any contacts but mirrors them.
Therefore, since it backed-up to icloud prior to discovering the problem, I will need to manually recover over 100 contacts. If you need to restore from the iCloud back-up, how do you do it? You can set what you want to back-up and you can delete the back-up but you can not restore from the back-up in any obvious or easy way??? If it simply mirrors this information, then quit calling it a back-up... not true! It would have changed how I set-up my phone in itunes... also, why would any contacts just disappear without notice or anything? Just vanished? I assume when it backed-up to iCloud but it happened on the 2 phones connected to the same iCloud account, because they are synced with iCloud. So I can sync to iCloud and back-up to my computer but then I have to deal with duplicated data on the phones which have limitted memory.
Another issue, a single instance of online support from apple is $29? Enough never to use apple product again. They change the OS so often they should always carry free online support for these changes that are not associated with the purchase date of the phone. Ridiculous! and discouraging... I found the same thing from HP support... If you can't put out a product that works longer than 1 year, then I won't buy your products anymore. Apple has 90 days of complimentary support on products and a 1 year waranty? in this economy that is irresponsible and they have poor engineering if your dependable lifecycle is 1 year. That's all they can guarantee? Based on the average american's income, they expect you to spend a large percentage of this on this kind of technology every year? Figure it out Apple.
Can anyone guide me through the propper way to use this crap without losing data. I have not quite coped with the fact I have lost all of that data. Horrible.

Icloud Lost photos in Camera Roll when I backed up to my Mac

I recently took a bunch of photos (while synced with icloud) and upgraded my phone from 4g to 4gs...I saw my pictures on the phone prior to syncing to my computer (macbook). When I synced my phone to my computer, off of the old back-up (on my mac), i lost all the photos in my icloud that I had taken prior. I have looked everywhere for them with no Luck. Note: The new phone had icloud set up to sync (to include pictures).
So my question is, is there a saved backup in the icloud server i can get them back? where did they go? Why are some of the older ones there, but the newer ones are not? what is really strange is i have photos on the cloud from before AND after those pics I am looking for, but those are missing. please help!

Hi. This sounds like a refresh issue. Can you try the following. Navigate within PS Touch one level up to the "Local Photos" - see attached scrrenshot. After that try to access your photos form the Camera Roll again.

If you have forgotten the password to to http://iforgot.apple.com and sign in with your iCloud login. A new password will be sent to your associated email address. If this doesn't work you will have to contact Support. Go to https://getsupport.apple.com . Click' See all products and services', then 'More Products and Services, then 'Apple ID', then 'Other Apple ID Topics' then 'Lost or forgotten Apple ID password'. If you have any problems with that try this form: https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html
Winston's comment applies if you have an iPhone which you bought second-hand and it is asking for an Apple ID (it will show it partially) which you don't recognize as yours.

ICloud lost my backup

Please yeaterday i wanted to restore my device so i did a n icloud backup and it was fully done and the size was 6xx after restoring my device i only found 3 backups,14,15 and 16 of January.
So i chose 16 and restored adter the device os fully reatored the backup size became 3xx!!!!
300 mb of data(mostly pictures) were gone!!!!!!!
Can you please help me

The data i lost is pictures and videos on the camera roll. + 3 contacts + some chats and sms (not important).
The problem is that it doesn't show that there is a backup at all!!

Help is right here, front and center sam31869. May I ask which Galaxy device do you have? Also, are you using Verizon Cloud or a third party service? Are you able to view the contacts A thru D online? As you share the details then we can assist.

Icloud lost contacts

I have a friend who has a Iphone 4GS mobile phone and has lost all the contacts on the phone is there anyway of getting the contacts from ICloud to the phone so the contact lists are back on there and this needs to be replied very quickly as she is very worried about losing them.

Unless they are backed up somewhere I fear they are lost.
You might want to consider seperate iCloud accounts to stop this happening. iCloud accounts and iTunes accounts are not the same thing you can both use different iCloud accounts and both use the same iTunes account.

ICloud lost my Goodnotes 4 data

This happenedI after I upgrade to iCloud drive. All data on my Goodnotes4 had lost. I never back up my data on computer, all is on iCloud.
Please, is there anyone know how to retrieve data directly from icloud? I really want my data back. I've tried restore my device from iCloud many time but it doesn't worked at all. I've contact both icloud support and application support but none have a solution for me.

If you edited the original Outlook ID to create the Gmail ID (rather than creating an entirely new ID with your Gmail address), you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your Gmail iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old Outlook email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old Outlook email address. Now use your Gmial ID password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old Outlook account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was before. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
If your Gmail ID is an entirely new ID this will not work. In that case, if you're unable to get the password reset email from Apple, contact them by going to https://expresslane.apple.com; click 'More Products and Services, then 'Apple ID'. In the next page select 'Other Apple ID Topics' then 'Lost or forgotten Apple ID password'.

Problems iCloud, lost diary, photos :(

Hi,
I have two phones, 4s and a 4 for back up, my 4s died and I started using the 4, took my 4s to apple, as it was just new, who said it was water damaged, (had been nowhere near water) and wouldn't replace it, left angry!
so I used the 4, I transferred everything over fine, I downloaded the new ios7 a couple of months ago and had a few issues with texts etc, then my iPhone went into recovery mode last weekend, without me touching it, took it to apple and he sorted it out, iCloud couldn't see the past nine months since I was using it, only last iPhones iCloud, I now have a new iPhone 4S (replacement from water damaged one that turned out fine inside, as I asked them to open it up, apple gave me a free one) still trying to back it up but nothing, have I lost 9 months of data, or can I restore it? I have my business dairy on and over 7,000 photos for work gone.
I'm stressed at the thought, int he past it's always transferred over fine.
Any advice would be great thanks!
