Icloud mail no longer exist

Hi,
I want to delete my old icloud account because my icloud mail no longer exist. ([email protected])
On the other hand, my apple id account and icloud account are not the same.
If possible, I want to use my current apple id account as the same with icloud account.
I also forgot my icloud account password so I cannot login to my icloud account to delete.
I also cannot answer security question because my cousin filled icloud account incorrectly and he also forgot.
Please help me and give some advise. Hopefully for your reply.

Hi there,
Checked mail yeseterday evening and woke up today and mail no longer sending or receiving either on my iMac, iPhone or via the iCloud web portal. I have checked and double checked password and account information and everything is fine and all other iCloud applications (calendar, address book etc) seem fine. I have also checked account settings based on the Help page (to check server all OK). Server smtpme.com was green and Can anyone please advise what to do asap as mail completely not functional on any of my devices.
smtp.me.com is not an iCloud server address, here are the correct settings for you.

Server name: imap.mail.me.com
SSL Required: Yes
Port: 993

SMTP (outgoing mail server) information:
Server name: smtp.mail.me.com
SSL Required: Yes
Port: 587
SMTP Authentication Required: Yes
Username: [email protected] (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)

  • ICloud Mail no longer working

When upgrading to Mountain Lion, I got this message "enter the Apple ID password for [email protected] to use Back to Mac". I put in my password and it said it wasn't valid. So I clicked to change the password. After changing the password successfully, I tried entering it for the Back to Mac thing, and it still said it was invalid. Now, my iCloud email is no longer working through Mail. I tried updating the password to the new one and it still will not work (also when I do this I get a message that the "incoming Mail Server" field cannot be empty, but this field is grayed out so I can't change it). I tried setting the iCloud email up as a new account in Mail and it doesn't work. I am getting this error message:
The server returned the error: The iCloud IMAP server “(null)” doesn’t support Apple Token authentication. Verify your account settings and try again.
My iCloud email is also no longer working on my phone. I tried changing the password on my phone and it still does not work. Now when I try to change my password back from within the Settings, a message pops up that says "iCloud Terms of Service have changed". I tap the OK button and it just goes to a blank screen so I can't get to my settings. Argh!
I can login online at iCloud.com using my old password and it opens for me. Weird.
Any ideas to what I can do to get it all working again? I'm wondering if I should try changing my password a third time since the new password isn't being accepted in the Back to My Mac thing? I really don't care about Back to My Mac, just want me email working from my phone and from Mail.

I figured it out...the upgrade must have tried using [email protected]  So you got a blueish icon in the Mail app, in the accounts window.
Remove it and add [email protected]  you will instead get an icon like this:
Its a greyish iCloud icon (its just blue because its highligthed).
    This should work.

  • Search on icloud  iPhone icloud mail almost non existent.

Every since switch .mac/.me to icloud. Search for spicific mail on iphone is not working correctly and not finding my emails.  Even if type exact subject line or who from.  I can find on Mac mail but not ios mail.  This make ios mail useless.   I keep get doies not exist on your server message or something to that affect, or search time out.
I think it has something to do with icloud server being sooooo slow.

    Hi
Same pb for me since yesterday...other iCloud services working fine but no email.
It is happening so often !!!
I will switch back to my old mail if the service can't be reliable.
    Sorry for not helping.
    Good luck

  • User e-mail no longer exists

i created an itunes account a long time ago and continued using after my college e-mail address was no longer valid. now i'm trying to update my iphone with icloud and i cannot verify my account because i can't get into that e-mail. any suggestions?

You actually got through to support! I've been trying for months and no reply.
I have the same problem. Way back (pre 200 when I signed up for skype they would not accept online email addresses for sign up. I used my isp back then. Now I don't have access to that email. Still I put it in to reset the password and had the email sent to my current email. Though it just reset my microsoft live email not my skype one. So I still can't get in. I have money on my account, and one day my password just stopped working.

  • Re: My old email adress linked to iCloud, does not longer exist

My problem is solved I got help from Apple.

It doesn't matter if your Apple ID Account is "labeled" by an old e-mail,address, as that "Apple ID" is just a "name" for your account. You can sign in to your Apple ID account using that same "name" (called your "Apple ID) even if that name is no longer a working and valid e-mail address. So just sign into your Apple ID, use your password and then update the information for your account to get a new "notification e-mail address" entered into your account. SO, this new e-mail notification address can be any other e-mail address you are using, and you still keep your Apple ID "name" or "label" which may be a non-working address ... that's okay.

  • ICloud Mail has stopped working (iPhone, website, and desktop)

Starting from yesterday, 1 Dec 2011, my iCloud mail no longer works. At first I thought it was a new update to the desktop SMTP and IMAP settings to my software (I use Postbox 3.0, which is based on Thunderbird), but upon further investigation, I see that mail no longer works on the iPhone or on the iCloud.com website. Mail just doesn't work.
I suspect this has something to do with the fact that I have a legacy account ending with @mac.com. I've posted before about my inability to drop the @mac.com from my Apple ID, but that's another story.
It's incredibly frustrating not to have access to this email account. The Calendar and Contacts are still active and accessible, but email is kaput. Has anyone else had this problem? Any help you can offer is appreciated.

Ok, after chatting with an Apple support rep (as in using a chat room and typing back and forth like a bunch of teenage girls) I was able to fix the mail issue.
In the end, all we did was reset the password. Can you believe that?!
Try to change your password first on your own terms, and if that doesn't work, look for the link for a hard reset, perhaps under "Forgot My Password". Unfortunatley, I don't have the links handy. I'm really frustrated and I just wanna go home (after 3 hours).
Let me know if this is helpful for you.

  • My old Apple ID is on my iPhone, but this has been transferred to a new Apple ID.  The iCloud on my phone is requesting the password for the old Apple ID, but this no longer exists.  How do I update the iCloud Apple ID on my iPhone?

My old Apple ID is on my iPhone, but this has been transferred to a new Apple ID.  The iCloud on my phone is requesting the password for the old Apple ID, but this no longer exists.  How do I update the iCloud Apple ID on my iPhone?  When I try to get the old passwork through forgot my password, the reply is that there is no account that exists.

    Try the following....
Go to Settings>icloud, scroll to bottom of screen and tap Delete Account.  Then log in using a different ID.

  • I am not able to access my icloud account as the apple id it defaults to no longer exists and when i try to use it by resetting the password it says email verification sent but I never receive anything.  It is hung up on verifying and I can not do a thing

The apple id I used to set up my ipad no longer exists and it is the same id for icloud and itunes.  I have changed my apple id but can not access my icloud account to change the id.  I am hung up on "verifying" and have tried everything.  It does not send any emails verification even though it says it has sent it.  I have trie the security questions and it says wrong birthdate but it is not the wrong birthdate.  I can not delete the account without a password and when I enter the password that was originally with that id it says wrong password.  As a result I am not able to update twitter, facebook, etc and basically unable to do anything until I can delete and reestablish this icloud account.

If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

  • I changed my Apple ID for an iphone 4s and need to change the iCloud Apple ID/password.  I am unable to change the Apple ID under the iCloud account information without the password which no longer exists.  How can I update my phone?

I had to change the Apple ID used for my iphone 4s.  How do I change the Apple ID for the iCloud information? - the old Apple ID/password no longer exists and this information is requested to make a change.  I am unable to change the Apple ID for the iCloud account.

Apple IDs never go away, so it still exists.
But lets be clear. You actually stopped using an Apple ID and created a NEW Apple ID. You didn't just change the email address of your Apple ID? That means that all of the music and apps purchased with the old Apple ID will have to be purchased again.
If you really did create a new Apple ID you will need the password associated with the old one to disable Activation Lock. There is no way around this. As I said, the old one still exists. You can use the standard tools to recover the password at https://appleid.apple.com.

  • How do I delete an ICloud acct on IPhone when the old email address no longer exists?

I changed my Apple ID password due to a phishing email and it started a downward spiral of issues.  My original ICloud email address no longer exists. I have tried to sign out/in in itunes that worked but I cannot delete the ICloud account because the field is not editable for apple ID. I tried setting it back to the old email address to turn off Find my IPhone but it will nopt allow because the email address cannot be verified because it no longer exists.

To Delete an iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone.  If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID.  You should then be able to delete the old account.  When done, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.

  • I used the wrong ID for iCloud on my iphone 5. It is linked to an email that no longer exists. Do I have to delete my iCloud completely and set it up all over again?

I used the wrong ID for iCloud on my iphone 5. It is linked to an email that no longer exists. Do I have to delete my iCloud completely and set it up all over again?

You can change the linked email/sign in email for your iCloud and Apple ID accounts from 1 site,
    https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/
Go to Manage your Apple ID
Sign in with your current creditals
On the left, click Name, ID and Email Addresses
Under Apple ID and Primary Email Address, click Edit
    Type in your new Email.
Go to Apple ID, click Edit
    Type in your new Email

  • After the latest update, all my apple products reverted to an old icloud account.  As it no longer exists, I cannot get into it to delete it and add the correct id.  How can I change this, especially on my Macbook pro?

After the latest update, all my apple products reverted to an old icloud account.  As it no longer exists, I cannot get into it to delete it and add the correct id.  How can I change this, especially on my Macbook pro?  There is no p/w related to it and even though I tried to reset "password" it won't allow as the id does not exist, neither does the email associated with the old id.  How do I switch it to a newer id?

It's all rather odd because the old account cannot 'no longer exist' - if you don't have the correct password you won't be able to get into it, but you can't actually delete an iCloud account from the server.
I'm afraid you will need the services of iCloud Support. If you currently happen to have AppleCare, either because you recently bought Apple hardware or have paid to extend the inititial period, you can contact them here:
    http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/
You will need the serial number of the covered hardware.
If you are not covered by AppleCare, then - in common with other free email services - there is no free support and you may be asked to pay a fee.

  • How do I change my iCloud account to my new appleID account? The original email account no longer exists.

Helpme. My email address for icloud no longer exists. I need to wtich it to the new apple ID account on icloud but its faded in Gray on my phone.

    Hello Sfloyd003,
The following article details the process of changing the signed in iCloud account on your device.
iOS 6 and later: Go to Settings > iCloud.
If you signed out before changing your Apple ID, enter your current Apple ID to sign in. The data from your iCloud account will download to your device.
If you're still signed in with your previous Apple ID:
Scroll down and tap Delete Account. Depending on what iCloud options are turned on, you'll be asked to confirm that you want to delete data from your device. To confirm, tap Delete. (If you're using iOS 7 and have Find My iPhone turned on, you'll be asked to enter the password for your previous Apple ID. Enter the password, then tap Turn Off.) The data will be deleted from your device, but not from iCloud.
Enter your current Apple ID to sign in. The data from your iCloud account will download again to your device.
