ICloud not accepting new connections

my iTunes library has been working just fine though my mac air, now for some reason iTunes won't connect to the iCloud and play anything, music tv, nothing? all it does is occasionally tell me that iCloud in not accepting any new connections?
help please?

    If the old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID.  Then you can go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your ID back to the way it was.

    I was getting the same behavior after Apple support had me delete some plist files to get Airplay going. I was also getting the following error:
    the error occurred while processing a command of type 'writesettings' in the plug-in 'server vpn'
    I went into ~/Library/Preferences/ and /Library/Preferences/ and deleted every plist contating the word server. I had to re-set up my server (meaning walk through some intial steps) but all of my settings were still there after that and everything started working again.
    Just a thought, obviously try at your own risk but it worked for me.

    What version of iTunes are you trying to install. If its 10.6.3 or 10.7, those versions are installed on a computer, not the iPad.

  • Issue with HP 4225 officejet , Not accepting New Print Cartridge

    dear Sir,
    My HP officejet 4225 all in one is not accepting the New cartridge ( black 27b). From last few days i am experincing horrible things in printer which i m not able to understand, like from two three days it takes 15 minutes to print one page.
    it starts printing ,prints one line and stop, wait for 1 min again prints few lines again become silent.in this way it takes 10 mins to print one normal page.
    Yesterday it starts displaying error message "Remove and check right cartridge".I checked it ,cleaned the surface of black catridge (27b)but nothing happen.i installed an old empty catrdige (27b) it started working again. i replaced it with the existing cartridge it displays the same message.
    Today I bought a new cartridge ( 27b) after instaaling it again display the same error message. I replaced with another very old cartridge (27) it again works ,it just displays black cartridge Empty.
    now i m surprised a running printer suddenly not accepting the installed cartridge. accepting the old cartridges not accepting new cartridge.
    one more thing the speed of printing has become normal after this incidence. I did a facory reset two days ago to check wether speed of printing improves or not? but it didnot improved however with the issue of cartridges ,when using old crtrdige (27b, 27) using only colour printout the printing speed is ok. i,e it does not start and stop.
    pls help with this issue . i m totally stuck.

    Oh, I don't think you are stuck with USB.  From your post above:
    When I select network, I get three options:
    View Network settings
    Restore Network Defaults
    Advanced
    With the Ethernet unplugged, select the middle one.  Then reset your router by removing its power for a few seconds, then plug back in.  Turn the printer off then back on.
    Finally, plug in the Ethernet cable.

    You can't use a disk which originally shipped with a Mac on a different Mac model. You also can't install Mac OS X 10.6 on a PowerPC Mac.

  • HELP!  Gateway stops accepting new connections

    Config: PS6.1 on Solaris 9 (Sparc), seperate gateway on Solaris 9 (Sparc) The PS6.1 was migrated from a PS3.0 installation, The machines are V240 with 2GB RAM and 4GB swap.
    I start the GW with: ./S43gateway -n default start debug
    Several minutes after startup (it varies from 1 to 40) I get the following message:

    This was working fine until we changed the IP of the gateway and moved its ethernet connection to "outside" the firewall. I re-installed the gateway software to make sure I didn't miss anything other than platform.conf. I have the webproxy enabled for the bookmarks channel and that is working. I have holes in the firewall for the proxy, LDAP and HTTPS ports.
    Any ideas?

    The gateway has to be tuned substantially to get good performance.
    The tuning needs to be based on your load
    e.g how many netlet connections, how many concurrent users you expected to handle etc ..
    the default min heap size and max heap size need to change it. You can go upto a max of 2 Gb but I would recommend starting with a smaller heap size of 500 M and see how your performance goes.
    The min and max heap size should always be the same for better performance. If your using netlets then you have to change the thread parameter. Each netlet connection uses two threads so if your using a large number of netlet connections then your thread count needs to 500 at a minimum to support 200 concurrent netlet sessions. Increasing the thread pool will also use more memory as each thread uses a min of 512 K of memory. The thread stack size needs to be set to 128 K.
    These are the initial things to start with, you can also set jvm option -verbose:gc to enable gc logs. This will show memory usage.

    I've been having computer issues for a while now, but I always figured it was the application I was using to access the internet. I first noticed an issue when trying to log into World of Warcraft. There was an obvious connection issue, but I could still
    connect to my account. I contacted Blizzard about it, and nothing they told me to do helped me. This has been going on for nearly a month. Today, after not playing for a couple days, I realized I couldn't access the game at all. I blamed Blizzard again, and
    became frustrated with them because none of their solutions ever helped me.
    Today, instead of playing WoW, I tried to play Sims 4, which requires you to launch Origin, an application that uses the internet. Origin wouldn't let me connect either. A similar error to the one I experienced with World of Warcraft and its starter program
    (BattleNet) appeared. Again, I blamed the provider of the application.
    Still bored, I tried launching Steam, yet another gaming application that requires internet use. No, yet again I received a similar error to the other two. By now I figured it was an issue with the computer itself. I launched a connection test and it told
    me that the "Remote device or resource will not accept the connection".
    I tried launching Internet Explorer. I got the message that the "proxy server is not responding". I'm beyond frustrated. Thank god I also have Firefox installed, so here I am.
    I looked up possible solutions to my issue. All the possible solutions I've found are only about Internet Explorer, and none of those solutions have helped anyone else with my issue.
    So I guess it's on your end here. I have no use for this computer at all at this point. Help me out, please. I just recently bought this computer and I don't want to have to purchase another one to get away from Windows/Microsoft.

    This issue can be caused by proxy settings or malware.
    I suggest you to disable proxy settings. Follow these steps:
    Under "Tools" in the browser tool bar select "Internet Options".
    In the "Internet Options" window that pops up, click the "Connections" tab at the top.
    Click "LAN Settings" near the bottom of the "Connections" section.
    If the "Proxy server" checkbox is marked with a check, click it to deselect/uncheck it.
    Click "Ok" to close the "Local Area Network (LAN) Settings" window.
    Click "Ok" to close the "Internet Options" window.
    Now check if you are able to connect to Internet Explorer.

  • CSM not accepting new SSL connections

    Hi,
    Could some one please help on me on this.
    My CSM is not accepting any new SSL connections for around 4 hours now. I have manaully rebooted the CSM now and it seems to be working fine.
    Teh CSM was working fine without any problem and I have not done any changes on the module. I would like to know why suddenly CSM not operational?
    Is ths hardware issue or software?
    I am running 4.1(3) software versin on the CSM.

    Hi Alex,
    We would need to see a failed connection on the CSM's port-channel to see at what point the connection fails and multiple showtechs taken during the issue to see what, if any, error counters were incrementing.  Without this kind of data, there is no way to tell what the root cause of the failures were.
    Given that a reload of the module recovered the connectivity, it is likely not a hardware issue.
    In the event that this was to reoccur, I would recommend the following action plan:
    Get a showtech from the Supervisor
    Using SPAN, start a capture on the CSM port-channel.  The source interface of your monitor session would be Po<256 + csm-slot>.  For example, if the CSM is in slot 4, then the source interface of your  monitor session would be Po260.
    Let one or more connections fail
    Stop the capture
    Get a second showtech from the Supervisor.
    Also, as a proactive measure, I would strongly recommend an upgrade to the latest CSM 4.2(x) or 4.3(x) software as the 4.1 code is very old and there have been many bug fixes since then.4.2(13) would be a good choice, unless you need features of the 4.3(x) stream.
    Also, note that the CSM is now End-of-Life, as well as the 4.1(x) software.  Any bug fixes that are implemented until the End-of-Engineering support will only go into the 4.2(x) and 4.3(x) streams.

  • Icloud not accepting password

    I cannot log into my icloud account and check my email. I have tried on the icloud.com server, my android phone and my mac. The message I receive says my password is incorrect. I have changed my password and logged into account settings with the new password without any trouble.  I am really frusterated as I have some important emails I am expecting and need to read and respond.
    Anyone have any suggestions?

    Yeah I just had this problem this morning - iClould.com was not accepting my password - everything else was - iMac and iPhone and iPod Touch.
    Then all of a sudden NOTHING was accepting my password and I had to messages saying that I had to either reset my password or unlock my iCloud account.... Why....? Dunno... it has been working fine since I migrated from MobileMe to iCloud ages ago....
    Anyway, after serveral atempts to unlock my account (had to do it on every device) iclould.ciom was still not working - so I had to change my password on everything....
    It all works now - except for the time stamp issue on emails on icloud.com here in the UK - time stamps are correct on all other devices -  just not on the website.
    Hopefully, it'll work now and I won't be asked to change my password every day - that used to happen a lot, but I thought they'd fixed that issue....
    Try going through what I've tried and  hopefully it'll work for you too....

    I updated my MacBook Air to new OS and had to restart system, now its not accepting my password. I went online and reset password a couple of times but still cannot get Mac to accept latest password. Ideas?

    You can reset your password with the install cd or usb ...
    Follow these steps to reset a password when there is only one administrator account on the computer, or if the original administrator account needs a password reset. "Original" administrator account refers to the one that was created immediately after installing Mac OS X. If the original administrator password is known, that administrator account may be used to reset the passwords of other administrator accounts using the steps described above. These steps require an optical drive; if your Mac does not have an optical drive and you have a Mac OS X v10.6 Install disc, see below.
    Start up from a Mac OS X Install disc (one whose version is closest to the version of Mac OS X installed).  Usually, you can start from the disc by putting it in your computer, restarting, and holding the C key. Or, put it in the computer and click the Install or Restore icon you see in the disc's main window (after which the computer will start from the disc without you needing to hold C). Or, you can use Startup Manager or the Startup Disk preference pane to select the Install disc.
    Choose a language, click the arrow button to continue,
    Mac OS X v10.6 or later: Choose Password Reset from the Utilities menu.
    Mac OS X v10.5 or v10.4: Choose Reset Password from the Utilities menu.
    Mac OS X v10.3: Choose Reset Password from the Installer menu.

    been working fine but after trying to send a big photo file, MacMail stopped accepting new messages and requires minutes to send out new messages. I have checked and rechecked all parameters. help!

    Have you quit and reopened Mail?
    Empty the Mail cache in your Home Folder Library>Caches>com.apple.mail>Cache.db. Just move Cache.db out to the Trash -- not the enclosing folder -- with Mail closed. Don't empty the Trash. If it doesn't help, then just put it back.

    Exactly so. Strictly speaking Lion 10.7.2 is required for iCloud, and on that Mail is set up automatically.
    Snow Leopard cannot access most of iCloud's facilities, however you can set Mail up manually to access your email. The method is described here:

  • Not accepting new database

    I have two different database connections in my tnsnames.ora I setup a new connection for jdeveloper to connect to, but it does not recongize the new connection. It keeps looking at the old connection, even when I delete the old connection in the tnsnames.ora file it still finds the connection, when I run the application.

    What type of connection, thin or OCI?
    For thin connections, jdeveloper doesn't use tnsnames.ora, the connection information [hostname, port, SID, etc] is stored directly in JDeveloper.
