ICloud not uploading current app data.

My Mac, Macbook Air & iPad are set up for iCloud and sync data and update apps between themselves flawlessly. While setting up a new iPad I discovered the data iCloud synced to the device dates to 2011. ICloud has apparently not uploaded anything for the past 2 years. My other devices will not sync to the new iPad.
Running 10.9 & 7.0.4
Is there a way to get iCloud working properly again?

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like the account may be different on the new device versus the rest of the devices. I would start by comparing the settings for the new iPad to the settings for the older iPad.

ICloud not Syncing Documents/App Data

I got an iPhone 5s this morning, and had previously updated my iPad and iPhone 4S to iOS 7 two days ago. I've noticed today that iCloud seems to not be syncing properly for me. Day One, which uses iCloud for syncing data, perpetually tries to upload from the iOS device but doesn't seem to be reaching the server. Similarly, when I create an entry on one of the two Macs that I sync with iCloud they do not appear on one another. Furthermore, when loading Pages in iOS on the new phone, I don't see any of my documents. I see many of them on the Mac, which I assume are locally cached. I've turned off Document syncing and turned it back on, and have restarted all devices a number of times. Is there anything I can do besides wait for Apple to straighten itself out? Is anyone else having a similar problem?

The previous account was not a MobileMe account prior. Also, it has been syncing perfectly fine for the past two years with Mountain Lion, Lion and iOS 5 up.
As far as getting the data from when I got to counter the other it's not a simple task. You have to make sure you go into each of your apps that currently use documents in the cloud and turn off documents in the cloud for each of the apps. This way, when you remove the iCloud account from settings but it will not remove the associated data from each of the apps. In other words, before you remove the old iCloud account, by turning off documents in the cloud for each of the individual apps The data contained in iCloud documents should be converted into local data within each application. Then after you delete the account and sign in using the new iCloud account go back into each of these applications and turn iCloud syncing back on. This will force the app to move the now local data into the new iCloud accounts document sync sandbox.
The thing to be particularly careful about is making sure that the applications that use documents in the cloud are no longer set up to do so before you remove the old I cannot account. Because when you remove the old I cannot account it will delete all associated documents in the cloud from the device. However, if you have already turned off documents on a per app basis the data contained in iCloud will have already been moved into the local sandbox.
As an added safety measure I would first try to export the data in anyway possible for each of the applications. If the application offers some way of getting your data out of it such as emailing a backup archive make sure and perform this routine as an added safety measure.

I recently upgraded to iWork v9.0.3, but when I access each applications the versions are different (i.e. Pages V.4.1, Numbers V2.6, Keynote V5.1.1) with a install date of 3/18/09 -- which is not the current install date of 2 weeks ago. Why?

With this discrepancy, how can I determine if the latest was installed and operational? I even downloading v9.0.4, 9.0.5, and 9.1. When I tried installing these downloads it popped up note stating that a later version of Keynote was already installed.

You used the data. Verizon can not see what it was sued for. However your phone can see whats apps used the data. go to settings-data usage- there will be a place that says data usage cycle. line the dates up with your cycle. then there will be a bar graph below that extend bother white bars one all the way to the left and one all the way to the right. after those are extended below that will be a list of apps, there should be one that used over 2 gb and that will show you what app used that data in her purse

At first I was not happy. I didnt understand how it worked. I wanted to keep my unlimited. It may not work out for everyone but it does for me. I have two accounts. one has 5 lines and the other has two. I pay 150 for two lines on one account. I have the 30 dllr 2 gig package. Then I have a dumb phone for the second line. My other account I have 5 smartphones. I pay around 350 for that account.
Now with the new plans I can combine BOTH accounts into one and make one BIG family plan. All the users in my account do not go over 2 gigs except one but he never goes over 5. Ill get a big data package and save some money. On top of that its UNLIMITED minutes and text which is what we use it for. Ill be paying around 350ish with a big data package..
That is 150 dllrs in savings!! Now since I can add usage controls I can control how much data that one person uses.
Not sure about you guys but to me this is #winning status!

iCloud backups retain app data. The only caveat to this is that each app's developer determines individually if they decide that their app will store data in an icloud backup. You can check this out by going to settings > icloud > storage and backup > manage storage > select your backup > then ensure that the app you're concerned about is switched to 'on'

After syncing my ipod touch with a new computer, will an icloud backup restore my app data including game progress?

I have an ipod touch which I have USB synced in the past on my Windows Vista laptop.
Now I want to stop USB Syncing with the laptop and USB start syncing instead with my Windows 7 Desktop machine instead.
Both PCs have the latest version of itunes running and I have transferred all purchases from the ipod to the Windows 7 desktop machine.
Home sharing is turned on on both PCs, so now their libraries appear identical.
The ipod has the latest IOS installed, and I have set up automatic icloud back ups for the ipod.
If i USB sync the ipod with the windows 7 desktop PC it warns me that all data will be erased, and replaced with data from that computer. I know that this will mean that all game progress is lost since it is not included in a USB sync backup and virgin copies of all the apps will be loaded onto the ipod.
My Question is this;
What is the best way to keep the app data intact on the ipod?
Do I simply carry out a USB sync with the Windows 7 desktop PC, let it wipe all the game save info away, and then resore an icloud backup onto the ipod?
Will this result in me being able to sync with the Windows 7 desktop PC and keep my game save data intact?

All the apps have to be in the iTunes library so the app data will have a place to go.
- Or just restore from iCloud backup. That will also pull down the apps from iCloud. Your apps data will also be restored.

Wiped my hard drive worried about my notes and other app data

Because of a bad DD command I wiped my hard drive unexpectedly. I am not to worried about my music witch I had backed up but I am worried about the notes, and data in some of the applications on my touch. When I reinstall Windows and Sync will I be able to do something about that?

I believe you are out of luck. Applications can be downloaded again but the data is likely going to be toast. Try googling iPod to PC and see if any of the programs meant to copy content can also handle notes and app data.

Can I copy any data not just apple apps data to icloud and can i do it automatically by say designating a folder

I want to be able to save data to the cloud but im worried if i choose icloud it won't back-up say word or photoshop files

ICloud files uploads like apps files works-

Can I upload a file to iCloud only and keep it there… not using space in my iPad? Only download sometimes, like music, movies and apps?

I don't trust in dropbox.
I love iCloud. I love Apple. I loved idisk. I just want to understand how it works.

MobileMe was not perfect… I cloud could be.
The iCloud system is not too clear for many people.

ICLOUD NOT UPLOADING PHOTOS FROM PC

I can not get the photos to upload from the PC to the Icloud. (and hence they are not on the Ipad)
I have checkied all the setup tick boxes as per the Icloud PC setup but it's still showing just over 1Gb.
And yes Im signed up for 20Gb storage space....

Same here - no upload button for me, too. OS X Lion, Safari 6.1.6. Trying not to take it as personal.

Icloud not uploading all videos

I had uploaded four videos to an icloud stream that I shared with my other devices, and then I deleted them from my original photo album. But the videos I uploaded were actually just two videos that were too long to post so I had to cut them in half. The first original video was 14 minutes long and the second one was 7 minutes long. I'm not sure, it might've even been five videos. Now in my stream it's only showing two videos that are both 5 minutes long. Is there anything I can do to get the other two or three back? Oh and, they weren't all 5 minutes when I uploaded them. Thanks.

Check that our, according to article videos can only be up to 5 min long. Suspect that longer videos never uploaded.

Could not upload my app to itune connect.

I have created an app, and sign it and validated it. But when i try to uplad it itune connect that it will failed to upload whith this error :
1. Communication error. Please use diagnostic mode to check connectivity. You need to have outbound access to TCP port 443.
2. An exception has occured : Operation timed out
3. Could not connect to Apple's web service.

I am using internet connection that have 2 MBPS speed so, i dont have any problem with internet connection. And also my firewall is turned off so port 443 is also not issue. I am using Xcode version 4.6. And i have uploaded app before from my mac, but at resent i have upgraded my xcode and now i am unable upload app. I am on proxy network, But as i said i have uploaded app before so proxy is not problem.

Retrieving App Data from iCloud?

Hi there! So, I updated my iPhone4 to iOs6 and one of my apps did not appear after the update. It seems that it is no longer available in the app store :-(
I was looking to know if there is anyway to get my data from that app if it was backed up in iCloud.

The iCloud backup includes your app data, but not the apps themselves. These are re-downloaded from the app store at the end of the restore process, if they are still available. So your app data may already be on your phone, but without the app you can't use it. This is one reason it's always a good idea to sync with iTunes. Syncing transfers your apps and other purchases to your iTunes library. Once there, they can be synced back to your phone even if no longer available in the app store.

IW69 report not fetching all transaction data of current month.

While doing testing IW69 report, i noticed that it is not displaying current month data. It is only get the data uptil last date of past month data in DEV & QA client.
I wonder why this is happening?
I tried using Malfunction start date & notification reference date input. But still the same result.
Please guide me, what is going wrong?

Hi,
The selection option 'notification date' is based on notification date (VIQMEL-QMDAT). Transaction IW69 is used to display notification items - when there is no item data in the notification nothing will be returned.

Apps will not upload

I am having problems with my phone it will not upload any apps how do I fix that?

If this was a once or twice occurence, I've noticed some strange behavior with the Market lately.
I tried to download an app and received an Error Message in the Notification Bar. It was real quick and wasn't in my Notification list when I pulled it down (like a missed call is).
I did see it said something like "Not Enough Memory".
I rebooted my phone and and tried it again and the download was successful.
I noticed the same thing during an automatic update of an app. This time, I tried it again manually and it was successful.
