ICloud not working 20.03.2012

all day today iCloud Mail refuses to load in the Safari browser. I can read email on my iPhone, iPad but not my workstatiion using Safari. Annoying as there are files I need to send from the wrkstations hard drive. Calenders work fine but not Mail.

Also not working on IOS devices.

Iphone 6 backup to iCloud not working

Initially I had the issue where my phone was restoring from iCloud for 2 weeks and never finished. I was unable to do the upgrade to 8.1 because of this, so I canceled the restore and tried to do a backup to iCloud. I let it run (Estimating time remaining...) for a long time, like 30 minutes or something. Each time I tried this it would error off saying it couldn't finish the operation. One time it said it was going to take 2 days to complete the backup, but then it errors off as just mentioned. So I did a google search for "iPhone 6 backup to iCloud not working" and found a link to the forums for the incessant restore issue, it said to do a manual backup through iTunes, then immediately do a restore, then do the upgrade to 8.1.
However, I still have the issue of the backup taking forever.
Anyone encounter this issue and find a fix?

I just spoke to a Support person with Apple. I got the same answer, "We Don't Know", "but they are working on it...Blah, Blah. I too live in Ventura, and have been without email since yesterday approx. 3:00 pm.
The guy said, it's the same if you brought your computer into the shop. We have to determine if it's hardware, or software, then fix the problem.
Well, What about a BACK UP SERVER? No real answer to that one. Just, "Thanks, for your Patience."

Your question is a bit confusing. iCloud doesn't have anything to do with updating your apps. What is not working with your iCloud? What are you trying to do? What happens when you try? What error messages are you getting?

If you migrated your MobileMe account to iCloud you can continue to use your MobileMe Apple ID/login for iCloud. Also, I assume by "MobileMe app" you are referring to iDisk. If so, you can continue to use iDisk, and the iDisk app through June 30th. If you are having trouble getting iCloud to work, try deleting the account from your phone and adding it back.

I recently purchased an iMac 27" 2013 which replaced my iMac 27" 2010.

(1) iMac 27" 2012 - Running Windows 8.1
(2) iMac 27" 2010 - Running OS X Mavericks
(1)+(2) were connected with a Mini-Display-Port cable.
(1) was using (2) as external display while (2) was set to Target Display Mode using CMD+F2

CURRENT SETUP

(1) iMac 27" 2013 - Running Windows 8.1
(2) iMac 27" 2012 - Running OS X Mavericks
(1)+(2) are connected with Thunderbolt cable.
(1) can't use (2) as external display anymore becuase CMD+F2 has no effect anymore on (2) in this scenario.
If (1) and (2) are both running OS X all works as expected.
I am aware about the support hint from Apple where they state TDM is not working under Bootcamp.
And I agree, while booted into Windows Bootcamp this machine can't serve as external display. Makes sense because TDM is baked into OS X display drivers.
Anyone had the same experience and came to a soltuion?

That is a little bit funny since Gigabyte and other big companies have said that 2014 is the year that they are going to implement Thunderbolt in many motherboards.

Fios Quantum not working with Late 2012 Mac Mini

A new router came out from Verizon in late 2014 so I went ahead and upgraded for $150. After connecting 3 iPhones, an iPad, and 2 Windows laptops successfully I discovered that my Late 2012 Mac Mini would not work.
Found a random blog post about channel settings, and after some tinkering got it to work. Basically you need to change the channel settings from Auto to alternate values. The blog I found said to use 1,6, or 11 for 2.4ghz and a low value for 5ghz. I tried a few and ended up with channel 6 and 40 as a working pair. Thought I would share.

I spent some of the time replacing the 320GB 5400rpm HD in my 2010 Mac Mini with a 500GB Hitachi Travelstar 7200rpm HD. Then moved forward by Restoring Mountain Lion onto it from an External HD, instead of Snow Leopard from the original 5400rpm drive. I really prefer to keep my music and photos on the Internal HD and so I couldn't justify the cost of a larger SSD.
So basically I flip flopped and now running Mountain Lion on a larger/slightly faster Internal HD and Snow Leopard from a FireWire External HD when needed.

ICloud not working on 3gs, please help!

Hi, i've just updated my iPhone 3gs to iOS5. All seems to be working fine, apart from iCloud. The Wi-Fi sync and everything else is great.
However, on the settings option, iCloud, Photo Stream, and Twitter are greyed out. The option is still available, but i can't access it. I don't know why, and because of this, any new purchases are not uploaded to iCloud/my computer without syncing. iCloud is installed and working fine on my PC (windows 7), but for some reason it is not working on my 3gs.
Any suggestions on what i can do would be great, thanks.

I've already allowed automatic downlods on both my phone and windows machine. This is what i see, and the same happens with photo stream under the photos setting.

I have tested it in my SCOM 2012 SP1 Environment and it worked there from Sealed to Unsealed and Unsealed to Unsealed.
I have no R2 Environment in reach at Moment so i cannot test it there.

Camera not working in Macbook (2012)

I have macbook pro I purchased last summer (2012) and this summer the Camera is not working. Whenever I open Photobooth or Facetime It says "there is no camera connected." Anyone know how to fix this problem???

Once in a while this issue can be resolved by resetting the SMC:
Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
Otherwise the machine needs to be serviced.

Availability reports not working in SCOM 2012

Hi,
All of a sudden the availability in our SCOM 2012 is not working. I mean it just shows the plain white bar indicating UP(unmonitored) instead of the Green (available) or Red bar.
I tried to check the MS logs but could not find anything related to this issue. Please note that other performance reports are working fine. It's just the availability reports that's playing with me.
Any suggestions please?

Hi Gautam,
This issue is resolved by restarting the SCOM services on all the MS. For some reason the MS were not able to insert the data in to the DW, once i restarted the services everything is back to normal.

After update to iCloud 2.0, iCloud not working in outlook.

After tonight's update to iCloud on my PC, the iCloud control panel tells me to "Repair the iCloud control panel to use with Outlook." I've gone through the repair process 10 times, and it still doesn't work. Clicking on Calendar or Contacts in Outlook results in an error that the file can't be read. The "Refresh iCloud" button in Outlook 2007 is gone.
I tried deleting the apparently bad data files in Outlook. That made all iCloud-related calendars and contacts disappear. I then tried the repair, but nothing changed. I uninstalled and reinstalled iCloud 2.0. That didn't help - same error message. Refresh iCloud button is still missing in Outlook. I ran Microsoft Office Diagnostics, and it found nothing wrong with Outlook. Note that the iCloud data files were not reinstalled when I reinstalled iCloud. I deleted and reinstalled iCloud again. Same result. I restarted the computer a couple of times throughout these reinstalls and repairs, but still nothing has changed.
Any ideas?
Oh - forget to say that on my other PC laptop, the update worked fine and iCloud is working. Only difference between the two computers is that this one that's having problems is 64-bit Vista Professional, and the one that is working is 32-bit Vista Home. Same version of Outlook 2007 on both computers.

Can you please tell me where you found a previous version of iCloud to download? I can not find a download that doesn't want to download a zillion other programs too
I also wanted to confirm with you that I have to first delete the new version of iCloud before I install the older version, correct?
Lastly, is there anything else I have to do other than delete the old and install the new? I'm not at all tech savy but desperate to have my phone and pc calendars sync again so I'm willing to try.....

OS update @iCloud not working...

I updated my OS on my 13in MBP and have updated my 4S to iOS6 but my [email protected] email address is not working. My husband's worked fine as he now can use @mac, @me and @icloud yet mine is still restricted to the @me domain. He was grandfathered in with @mac. I checked to see if there were any additional updates but there are not. What do I need to do next so I can begin using @me and @icloud? Please help?

if the @icloud.com address is in there, then indeed you have a problem, but I am quite sure it is not there yet... Apple is gradually deploying the @icloud.com addresses...

ICloud not working on mac or phone

Hi people, I'm having trouble with iCloud in the fact that nothing I do on my iPhone reverts back to my Mac & visa versa.
Everything is turned on just like it should be on both devices & I'm running the lastest software on both.
When you do something in numbers on 1, how long for it to appear on the other?
Buying from iTunes on th phone, didn't appear on my Mac.
Same with picture streaming.

That is exactly how I thought iCloud should work in seconds, no matter what device your using as they all go through the wi-fi back & forth to each other.
Auto downloads are on, I have a full strength wi-fi signal, back to my mac is on, data & doc's are on. Everything is on how it should be. For some reason it doesn't work & I can not find anything wrong with it or any info on the web/apple as to what could be the issue
